Well, it was bound to come up. whee
What does everyone think of the tour so far?
Personally, I endorse it. I hate it how people are assuming that it's a clever way to make money off concerts and sneakily replace Freddie. It's a collaboration, not a replacement. You hardly need any common sense to understand that Brian and Roger would never replace Freddie, or would even want to. (They love him too much. whee )
I've yet to download any clips of the shows or her any live material, but the reviews say the whole thing is just incredible. heart I hope I get a chance to go. There was talk of seeing it in London for Popo's sweet sixteen... *tries not to cling to idea* gonk domokun (Though I would DIE if Roger autographed something of mine. xp )
Speaking of the blonde... Anyone notice that he hardly gets mentioned? Perhaps its me, but after looking at various images and reading from different sources (QueenOnline, Official Q+PR Tour site, Brian's Soapbox, Rolling Stone) it seems like he's hardly ever in on the action. sad I've heard next to nothing from him. No interviews, no quotes... nothing. (I did hear, however, that he was recently invited to introduce someone at an awards show.)

I think it's a smashing idea really. My eldest brother, David, said he would buy me backstage passes if they ever came in the state of Colorado. But alas, I don't think they will. -sighs-
Really though, my brothers like to make fun of me and say things like, "Oh Torey, dearest... You know, if you came within 20 ft. of Roger, you'd totally go off a wall."
... Well, I wouldn't. But if he did autograph something of mine, like you Popo, I'd die. I would completely freak out if he signed something of mine.
Well, I'm done for now. Have a nice night. heart
-wanders off to room to find something signable-

Personally, I think it's a great idea X3
Then again, this whole tour thing was Brian's idea in the first place (I listened to their interviews)...so I guess it really doesn't come off as a surprise to me if Roger isn't mentioned that much.
Ooh! I personally would love any ol' Queen member to autograph my stuff xd (More or less, I really want Deaky's autograph ninja heart ) I'd like, scream and run into a wall :'D

I previewed it the other day. It's alright... I changed my mind about getting it after hearing some of the samples though. Perhaps they would have won me over if they included bits from 'Radio Ga Ga' or 'I'm In Love With My Car' like the other sources were pushing. Oh well.
What's this I hear about a vinyl release? whee
