Hello to the people that go to this subforum.
On July 7th I'm going to a Paniolo camp. this post is for those who know what a Paniolo is and was. Feel free to say what you think about the Paniolo.

Fact: There were Hawaiian Paniolo cowboys before any cowboy existed in America.

When my grandpa was growing up on the big island, his family worked on a farm. He helped the Paniolo by acting as a stable boy, grooming the horses and cleaning their saddles. When he got older he had to work the farm though, but for a long time he wanted to be a Paniolo when he grew up ^^

Cool! I have no paniolo family members but I still want to learn how they lived. Hopefully though I don't get kicked in the face by the cow I'm wrestling rofl

Well. I got to ride horses, mug cows, and rope cattle. It was fun for a six day camp.

Well I used to have a friend who's dad was a paniolo but I've lost touch with him so I really don't know anything.
