Near the Willow's Nest
The glowing orb, exploding with light, Emerging to absorb the previous night, Reveals the beginning of a new life Near the willow's nest.
Concealed in a hole is a family leash, With their new kit they remain beneath, Awaiting the spring when this creature they'll teach, Near the willow's nest.
As cold winds cease, warming the days, The Reynard and Vixen provide the way To seek and hunt and capture prey, Near the willow's nest.
When the warm season ends with a sigh, To nature the young creature must comply, And with it's own family it will survive, Near the willow's nest.
Then time begins ending, for the new life grows old, The cycle reiterates a story thrice told, A new life concealed in a similar hole, Near the willow's nest.
And nature knows of such timely fate, Which ends what once took time to create, The old kit will never again take it's place, Near the willow's nest.

I don't know why, but when I read it in my head it sounds like a chritmas song, although it has nothing at all to do with christmas! It's a lovely poem and each line compliments the other lines in the verse well, allowing both fluencey and understanding of the poem.
