Places in the Multiverse! By B.J./Rouge3 brought to you by the fallen angel writing staff!
There I was, fifteen...about to graduate...happy. It was bitter I didn't want it...I didn't belong. Something pulled at my soul telling me not to except this, it's a fake.
I didn't understand it... I couldn't, but it plauged me all the same. The day was a normal one wake up, go to school, come back. But that night the way my mom said good night made it seem like she'd never see me again.
"It's your time to wake from this dream." Were her final words.
{The next morning}
I woke to find myself at school in cloths I had never seen before...my class... the school, my friends, all different.
" What 's going on?" I asked in an unsteady tone.
"We're at school stupid! What do you think!" One of the jockier people said mocking me.
My head raced, the steps of the students seemed to drown out all else....it hurt, my head felt like it was going to explode if I didn't leave! I was going insane. In a panic I left in a rush. Ignoring all who offered help...and who ever mocked. I was acting crazy...it's a dream, I'm asleep in my room. I told my self jumping the frontsteps of the school and running to the town just ahead. THIS IS"NT HAPPENING! I thought running faster and faster trying to escape this nightmare... trying to out run it.
Finally, my brain gave way, I grabbed people telling they were fake trying to convince them I was sain. People gathered on the opposite side of the street, most likely gossiping. I attempted to stop thier,some what maddening task. That is until an officer got out of his car...I could tell he had made his preconseptions about me far before he asked "Are you okay, sir?"
"I'm fine." was my reply.
"You causing trouble isn't."
I noticed a speeding car down the lane coming our way. This was it...a chance to prove them wrong, just keep stalling."Do you think I'm crazy?"I said with a twisting voice.
"I think you're off your chain." He replied.
"Would a crazy person jump in front of a speeding car without knowing if they would live or die?"
NOW! It's time for the moment of truth.Before the officer could react I fell back in the speeding car's path.
{The next morning}
I awoke in a new place, a bedroom but it wasn't mine.
" What the hell is going on?"
End? want more?.......then comment.
The rest is in my journal...or at least what I've written so far.

Was watching a rather weird episode of Futurama and was inspired, by both that and a discussion on reality with a customer at work. If you can find a form that fits it let me know eh? I guess it COULD be considered Repetition...
I think that I'm Alive by Turtle Sensei/Rain Styormz/Dessira B.
As the trees burn and the sky darkens, I think that I'll try to make it through, Make it through this dream, this semblance of reality,
As the leaves decay and crunch under my sneakered feet, My senses pervade my sense of reason, And I'm awake and dreaming once again,
The trees bleed their clear blood, so bitter and hard, I'm knocking my head against every surface trying to beat myself out of this dream, It can't be real, this can't be real,
The air begins to chill, so I snuggle closer into my bed, And I hunker down with a good book in my hands, And try to escape the lie this reality's become,
It's become so diseased and torn inside my mind, it's beginning to chafe, and rub the skin so raw,
As the blood drips from my ears and stains the pavement, Making little Rorschach tests, as if Mother Nature herself is trying to question my sanity,
As if in some jest to make me doubt myself again,
And as the trees burn and the sky darkens, I think that I'll try to make it through, Make it through this dream, this semblance of reality...

this is a story I started around christmas...still not done, but this is ch. 1
Chapter 1 Things to Do 1. Feed Skye 2. Mow lawn 3. Tell mom about Kirsten
Eden stared at his list, repeating that third chore over and over again in his head. His eyes watered just at the thought of his mom’s reaction when he told her that dad was seeing another woman. For a second, he wished his life were different, but he knew that he couldn’t change it. Not then, not now. He shoved his guitar and tuner under his bed before he laid face down and yelled in to his pillow. You see, he learned about Kirsten completely by accident. If his dad had been expecting Eden to walk in to his office, he probably would have asked Kirsten to leave. Or at least acted like they were doing something that had to do with business, but instead, there they were, nearly necking in his office. Well, so much for secrets... He could hear his parent’s conversation clear through the walls, but it wasn’t like they were whispering. “Steve, how do you expect me to stay here and keep an eye on things while you’re out at all hours of the night?” His father got up out of his chair, “I’m trying to support this family!” a bottle smashed against the wall. There was a dead silence for what seemed like hours, though it lasted only seconds. Eden heard a small tap on his door. It was his little sister, Bailey, who was eleven, scared to tears and didn’t know what to do. “Eden,” he heard her whisper, and it almost made him jump. He pulled back the covers and let her crawl in, and sang to her as she fell asleep.
"Noelle Monee Larkin!! Come here this INSTANT!!" Noelle heard her dad's drunken voice from the other end of the hall downstairs. He was coming, and she didn't have enough time to climb out her bedroom window, or even force herself in to her closet. She knew what she was in for, and it was already too late. Her mom wouldn't be home for another forty-five minutes, at least. She also knew that she would need that ice pack that was thawing out in the fridge. She felt the clamor of feet stumble down the hall, then a loud bang. “Noelle!! Open this door!” he father bellowed, as she slid under her bed and tried her hardest not to move. The door swung open as she lay stiff on the floor, fear vibrating through her arms and down to her toes. Before she knew it, she felt her foot prickle and realized it had fallen asleep. She pulled it back, but not before kicking her box of art supplies. This was the noise that blew her cover, and she knew it. Her father reached under the bed, pulled her out by her ankle and carried her to the living room. She felt the sting of both fists and tears rain down her face as she collapsed on the couch. After her father was finished, he silently walked out of the house and drove to the bar 2 miles away. Noelle got up, bracing herself for the usual aftershocks of her body in pain. She walked to the kitchen, grabbed the phone off the counter and began to dial.

Has anyone written anything new? Don't get me wrong these stories are great. I am just looking to see how these people (characters) found their place and made it out of their struggles. Keep it going or if you have finished them elsewhere give me directions so I can read to my hearts content.

I am currently trying to get a book published and I must say that the whole process is very stress inducing. Has anybody else in here gone through it?

I'm not a writer but I love to read. However, I have a daughter whose dream is to become a writer. She recently submitted one of her short stories in to a literary contest for our state and did great. I was never so proud it brought tears to my eyes. I think u would like one of her storie so I'm gonna have her submit part of one of them on here. This is a great guild btw. heart heart heart
