i start mine in like...at the end of July or the beginning of August..
pretty much about month before school starts. and i just got out of school like a week or 2 ago.
some people start REALLL early, right?

I just moved to my school and I'm shocked at how early band camp starts! We start June 21, and it's eight hours every day! Every weekday till school starts! I'm gona kill over. I live down south. In Alabama. Imagine the humidity. We didn't get out till May 30. This place has no sanity.

my first time goin' to band camp and im going to TWO!!!! one of them starts tomarow!! YAY!!!! blaugh so happy!
and humidity is big where i live too! its like a hundred degrees outside!!

Hah! I live in Western Washington. Sunny days are a rarity. More likely, it's raining.
For me, band camp starts July 6th. I get back the 12th. (It's a week-long thing at one of the local colleges)

[ ]My band always did band camp at the end of July, going into the beginning of August. Two weeks long, 6 days a week. 9 or 12 hours, depending on the day.

I'm starting my first marching season so I get to go to two camps. The first starts July 21st and goes through that week. We also have it the next week.

We have a mini camp tomorrow, parade rehearsals next thursday and friday, parade on saturday
then our actual camp starts July 28th
I'm actually REALLY excited

We start band practice on July 17 for the newbes and on the 21 all week7 or 8 to 12:30 then the first week of August is band camp 8 to 5:30 then when school starts we work before school really starts sweatdrop work work work but for a good thing 4laugh

Well, we have four hour practices every Monday, no matter if we have band camp or not. We already had one mini-band camp, 3 hours each night (it was 3 nights, before school was out). Our next mini-camp is in the beginning of July (I think), and it's Tuesday-Thursday, 9am-9pm. Then actual band camp is two weeks after that, and it's Monday-Friday, 9am-9pm. That's for two weeks, and when that's over, we have practice every Monday and Wednesday from 6-9.
Oh, and you can't forget Kill Drill. That's one or two days during the second week of band camp. (Basically, you march until you get it right...the earliest you get out then has been at 11pm. Latest I've heard of is 1am...fun.)

I actually just got done with band camp three days ago or so, went from June 9th to the 13th. Immediately followed by two parades! Basically though we did four in a row cause our last two days of camp was a road march of just over two miles and then just over a mile mock parade, then we had the two real ones that were bout a mile as well! Good times ^.^

It goes the week before school starts.
