Does it exist? Even though I'm a die-hard ZabuHaku fan, I've been wanting to write a fanfiction about them for quite a while. And I have an idea. [I'd appreciate your thoughts on it :>]
Here's what I am generally thinking: The story will start out with descriptions of Haku's thoughts and feelings twords Zabuza, which he believes to be love. Then Suigetsu enters the picture. [Maybe the find him in a lost-and-found bin? XD]. Haku immediately feels threatened by his presence. Even on a personal level, Haku is very put off by Suigetsu's headstrong personality. But little by little, as the two are sent off to do missions without the supervision of Zabuza, Haku and Suigetsu [who never cared much for {and was often annoyed by} Haku's submissive nature and blind devotion to Zabuza] begin to grow closer. Haku questions how romantic his feelings for Zabuza really were, as he starts developing them for Suigetsu. He arrives at the conclusion that his love for Zabuza is merely that of how a child loves his father. In fact, now that he realizes this, he feels comfortable discussing his romantic interest in Suigetsu with Zabuza. Zabuza is happy that Haku divulges his feelings, and even more so that Haku is able to develop these feelings. [He worried that with what the boy had been through he would forever have a sense of social disconnection.] But Both Zabuza and Haku know that Suigetsu position as Zabuza's underling is temporary. Even as a relationship between the two teens forms, there is that awful sense that they will eventually have to part, as Suigetsu's future is far from remaining in the mist village under Zabuza's command forever. [His nature is restless.] When the time comes for Suigetsu to take off on his own, he offers Haku the chance to join him, to stay by his side as his lover. Even Zabuza insists that Haku should do whatever will make him happy. But Haku cannot bring himself to leave Zabuza's side, even though he loves Suigetsu so deeply. Thus, the two part, but never stop thinking of each other, as much as they try. [For the sake of their own missions.] Years later Haku dies happy to protect Zabuza, but with deep regret for never seeing Suigetsu again. Suigetsu hears of Zabuza's death, but nothing of a lowly servant boy who fought at his side. It would have been easy enough to discover Haku's fate is he tried, but Suigetsu doesn't wish to face the reality that the only person he ever loved has died. Suigetsu is caught by Orochimaru and used as a test subject. He could resist, but doesn't seem much point. As his body is subjected to numerous experiments, Suigetsu thoughts are consumed by Haku and the little time they spent together. Occasionally he likes to imagine that Haku is alive, on his own somewhere [a quaint non-shinobi village perhaps] and living life happily. Then Orochimaru is killed and Suigets is released. Of course, he wants to find Haku. But the fear is still very much present. He tells himself, "I'll find Haku, but I'll be strong enough to protect him!" [He recalls times when they were together and Haku would get hurt because of Suigetsu's weakness.] Thus he decides to collect all the swords of the seven mist shinobi. He starts with Zabuza's. [It is supposedly beside his grave.] Naturally once he finds the sword and the grave, he finds Haku's right beside it.
Wow. I know I said "generally", but that I was a lot. o: Did I do that? I apologize to anyone who actually read the entire thing.

That's actually a pretty cute idea, if you ask me. I totally say do it. I was never one for that pairing only because I had no reason to imagine it. I mean... that's like randomly thinking of OroxIchiraku(the guy who owns the ramen stand) Never pictured THAT, right? Lol That'd be funny. Yet... kinda creepy. I mean... how on EARTH would that happen? Better yet, whhhyyy?
