So as I let leak to some people, I do play World of Warcraft and I have given all my characters in game a history, family, love-life, etcetcetc. Which has ultimately led to a story and relating comic.

So I guess if you're curious about how things are looking (despite me being really lazy about the art portion) you can drop in here and take a peek. The topic will be locked so you can't post, but I can keep submitting snippets and pictures and updating things as they come along.

Ideas hit me every once and a while so don't expect much too often.

She also met Ino and Chaka in her travels. A strange combo of a Night Elf and a Draenei. Ino became a strong friend that refused to see the bad in Lucia, and knew everything she did was her best shot at trying to show the world the good in her.

How long? How long had she been dead? How long had she looked like -- like this! What had she done wrong to deserve this fate? Christmas, Christmas Eve last year. How could he? How could he let her go?

'Does it mean that it's the end, and I'm alone?' She just didn't know.

***

"December 24th, Christmas Eve..." She muttered, gazing around Ironforge. The huge, dwarven city was buzzing with excitement; people were everywhere exchanging gifts early, selling their wares or preparing to leave again. Those who were preparing to leave wouldn't be seen again for a few months, and she was one of them.

Taking one last long look at the tree and beautifully wrapped gifts beneath it, she attached her saddle bags to her Felsteed and turned to leave the city.

"Luci--!" His call fell on deaf ears. The city was just too loud and busy as she left, she didn't hear him. He looked down at the gift in his hands and went to set it below the tree. She'd either have to wait to receive it or return home by tomorrow.

***

A taller figure with soft glowing eyes and lilac skin sat with another, who was much stronger and of pale blue skin, by the fires outside the city. Her head lifted to watch the lone girl mount up and take off down the hill into the oncoming snowstorm. Turning her gaze back to the male beside her, she raised an eyebrow. All he could do was shrug.

"I don't know Ino." He told her quite simply, in an accent sounding vaguely Russian. She nodded and watched the fiery hell horse dissapear into the dark and snow. Wrapping up in her new, heavy cloak, she stood and gathered her bags as well.

"I worry about her, Chaka. I really do. She's unstable and leaving not only this cold night but into the oncoming weather? There's no telling what will happen! Especially alone..." Ino told him, pulling her hood up and mounting up on her Talbuk. The rather large, goat-like mount bleated as she settled into the saddle. The cobalt colored hair on it's body ruffled in the oncoming north wind as the snow started to fall.

The larger male she was with sighed and stood up, gathering his things as well. It was apparent what Ino was planning to do. She figured that since Ace wasn't planning on going to follow her, she would instead. Chaka watched his traveling partner dig her heels into the flanks of the beast and tear off down the hill from the city. For once he was glad that his large form could easily be supported by a Talbuk as well, as the elephants that his race rode were far slower.

***

Blowing on her near frostbitten hands, Lucia gazed up at the stone pass to Wetlands. She had to admit, even in her state of frostbite, the Dwarves were a talented race to build such great things. However even here, her fiery steed was no warmth to her, and she would meet death soon if she didn't reach a warmer place in time. The frost and ice broke from her cloak as she tried to wrap up in it and proceed into the partial protection of the pass.

'Ace would be nice to have right now...' She thought before quickly forgetting the thought of the fire mage that loved her. She was even too cold to use her own spells to warm up, it was getting that bad.

***

"Ino! Stop! The storm is just getting worse and I'm not letting you die because of Lucia's stupidity!" Not only was the Draenic Shamen cold and uncomfortable, but he didn't want Ino to die. The elven woman was too precious and they had come too far in their lives and adventures to lose her now.

The slender figure turned in the saddle to face him. Her eyes glowing gold under the orange, moose-like hood as she stared at him.

"I'm not letting her die, even if I have to give up my life for her!" Ino was dead set on this task and nothing was going to stop her now. She turned away from him and continued on, ushering the Talbuk forward.

"Ino--" He was met with her hand up in the air to silence him. The quickest route for them now was the southern most pass, and that's where she was leading him.

***

After crossing the mountain pass and crossed into the marsh, the sun was just starting to rise. Lucia sat half asleep on her steed, shivering from the frost and snow still covering her.

Even with the sun out it was still fairly early in the morning. The fog had yet to burn away leaving the marsh chilly and the air thick and hard to breath. This made it hard to see anything around her. Yawning she dismounted and collapsed into the grass and reeds beside a log. Her steed, on the other hand, wandered off for a fair distance to graze on the dew laden reeds and marsh grasses.

***

"Merry Christmas..." Even with the joy of the day, Ace was still forlorn. She had left in the worst weather and probably didn't survive the night. It was just like Lucia to be stupid and stubborn, even for a warlock of her skill.

"Oh, cheer up!" A taller, white haired, Night Elf priest, known as Sherpah, told him from across the table.

"Psh, why cheer up? She's probably long dead by now." Ace lifted his head to glare at the opposing warlock sitting across from him. All heads turned to look at Exis.

"Negative as always." Called Sherpah in a sing-song voice, as if to tease him. The warlock shrugged and looked at them over his wine glass, watching Ace the closest.

"It's true. Anyone out in that weather is bound to die in a few hours." He muttered, not really caring at all.

"You're only saying that because the two of you never got along." One of the three ladies in the corner of the bar piped up. Exis growled and looked back at the girls to find who spoke. The rogue looked up from her breakfast and smiled, pushing her blue hair away from her face. The other two chuckled and shrugged. Winter had a point and everyone knew it. Exis turned and went back to his wine, if Lucia wasn't bad enough, her friends were.

"Why did -they- have to choose -our- bar to have breakfast?" He asked, looking up at the guys. Sherpah shrugged and looked across at the girls.

"So! Since your here, what do you plan to do about it?" He asked, holding up a hand to hush Ace before he could comment. The mage huffed and eyed the girls as well.

"We plan to find her of course! Since Ino never came home to party with us, we might as well find new excitement right? Plus we can try to find where Ino dissapeared too as well!" Winter grinned again as the other two nodded.

She was met with a quick burst of flame on the table by her meal. Ace scowled and stood up, glaring at the guys.

"Since you don't seem to be helping much, and you--" he started and pointed at the girls, "Lucia is more important than that...that -failure- of a druid!"

"Are ye done?" Came a voice from the bar. Getting a nod the bar-maid slammed down the glass she had been cleaning. "Good! Then get the 'ell out of here! I have other customers still upstairs in the rooms tryin' ta sleep!" The dwarven woman yelled. Even for her short stature, she posed quite a threat to the lot of them.

Word seemed to travel fast, he noted. The Warlock stood quietly, going through each letter in his hand stating sold and unsold auctions and to pick things up.

"She did have it coming to her after all." One woman nearby stated. The Warlock looked up and toward the voice. She was taller than him, a Draenei and a Mage from the looks of her robes. "I've never known someone worse than her who wasn't already on the Horde side. She was headed down that road with how cruel she was to people." She finished. The Night Elf at her side nodded, kneeling down to feed his pet.

"I've only heard stories, but from what I put together she was a demon. The Demon Warlock Redwolf I guess."

"What have you heard, Thaga?" The Draenei asked, watching him with the animal.

"She's killed our own faction, attacked Miss Ino's family not long before she was killed." He replied, standing and looking back at the mage. "She was definitely headed down the path of joining the Horde."

Exis snorted and stuffed the letters in his bag. Where had they picked up the story of attacking Ino? Ino was protecting the 'demon' from being killed herself. Not that he cared either way.

---

The Night Elf in question quietly listened to the discussion nearby. Where had they heard that? Her own guildmates against a dear friend. Lucia had never attacked her or her family.

"There you go..." She said quietly, finishing a quick enchant for someone and handing back the item in question. A faint smile came to her face when she was offered a gold piece for her work. "Thank you."

Depositing the gold piece into a small pouch on her belt, Ino turned and looked back toward her guildmates. Thaga and Kaleii. They were horribly mis-informed about Lucia. She was never a bad person, only looked down upon because of her personality. Unfortunately, Ino could no longer trust someone she once called a friend. She knew who had killed Lucia, and he had done it out of spite. He never liked Lucia, and while she never found out the exact reason why, Ino just wanted some sort of karma to strike the other Warlock back. He had single handedly betrayed and killed an innocent woman.

"Ino? What are you--?" Before the larger Draenei male could finish his question, his wife was gone. Having used her spell to teleport back to Moonglade, he knew she would be gone a while. Ino never went there without good reason and he would have to wait it out until she returned.

---

"Excuse me."

"Yes Druid?" A guard replied, silver eyes focusing on the woman before him.

"Can you please direct me to the Stormrage Barrow Dens?" Albeit being a Druid, Ino had never before set foot in or near the Dens. She had no idea of their location beyond Moonglade. The guard raised an eyebrow curiously. What could this Druid want there? She would only find nothing, no trace of anything worth while.

"Follow the road South, and then West along the shore of Lake Elune'Ara. You'll come upon some still standing ruins. What you seek is there." Nodding her thanks, Ino smiled and in a swift and sleek transformation, left the small town in the form of a cheetah.

Her goal was simple at this moment. The Stormrage Barrow Dens might hold her answer. She sought to find the Arch Druid Malfurion Stormrage. Little did she know, he was no longer around. He now lay asleep and eternally lost within the Emerald Dream.

"I've come so far...and yet--nothing." She whispered to herself, silvery blue eyes closing in disappointment. Malfurion wasn't here. It struck her, that just maybe he was gone. Granted, Night Elves could live longer than most other races which seemed to make them nearly immortal. Ino knew though, nothing could be completely immortal. The Arch Druid was gone, where and when she did not know, but he was no longer among them.

Looking back up at a small altar in the depths of the dens, Ino placed her hands together in a form of prayer and bowed her head.

'I had come to ask for justice, I suppose. A retribution. To have a person punished and seek his execution.' Her thoughts wandered to read the altar. 'But I see all that, that would mean...he would be freed. Be serene. Somehow...cleansed.' Sighing, Ino stood and turned to look at the walls around her. Malfurion may not have helped her there at all. He was a gentle, forgiving soul as far as she knew.

"But...there is something else. A secret I suppose. I also came for help, for something no one else knows!" She cried out to no one. Her voice echoed back off the empty walls. "I need advice. I need direction! After years of reading books, I still feel lost without intention. As if...I'm waiting for some sacred intervention."

Growing frustrated with her lack of answers, she turned and headed for the exit of the dens. "I know I have a gift! I know I have some talent...I know I have the strength for something more. I just...I don't know what for..." Stopping once more she raised her hand to touch the roots growing along the walls of the dens. "It's like a feeling comes and I can't shake it. Like there's some connection to be made but I can't make it."

Sighing again she continued to follow the path back to the entrance. The walls were thick with the roots and other plants growing on the ground. There were things written along the wall in some places, but were much too faded to make out. The final tunnel outside was littered with runes that made no sense to her.

'I'm wondering where to go, wondering where my path leads.' She thought, stepping out into the gentle, evening light of Moonglade. 'What deeds and higher goals should I pursue?' Her eyes settled on the ruins. This had to have once been great, sacred ground. Smiling slightly, she figured Malfurion once walked these grounds as well.

"What am I meant to do Malfurion?" She asked the air again. Receiving no answer she frowned and started for the road to find the flight master. "Perhaps...it was wrong and selfish of me." She thought aloud, "Asking someone so wise, exalted and above me. Though, I see clearly now. How could he know such answers? He passed long before me. So for your soul, Malfurion, and for my own. I pray." She said, turning to look once more at the ruins and folding her hands in prayer.

Transforming once more into a cheetah, Ino made a dash for the flight master. She was determined enough to make it as far as Darnassus for the night before making the trip back home in Ironforge. Back home to Chaka and her son.

She swore she heard singing in Darnassian. Chances were good that, that was what she was hearing. It sounded so distant though. Too far away to make out what could possibly be being said. Instead, she noted the voice sounded horribly familiar. Ino.

Looking at her hands, she couldn't face Ino again like this. She was rotting away to nothing, Ino was still alive and well. Her own journey was coming to an end, her friend's journey was still continuing.

Ino smiled sensing life nearby, though never acknowledged it. She had hoped Lucia had made her peace with the unknown. She herself was letting go and gaining even further knowledge from the experience. True, her friend was gone, but all had become one.

Bowing her head, she crossed her hands in prayer. "Rest in peace my friend, wherever you may be now."

---

She once remembered looking up at him, remembering how he wasn't always there. She had wished once that he would stay closer, giving her someone to talk to when times were rough. Though, what would he want with a pitiful excuse like herself? He was a warrior, well known for his abilities.

Lucia had to admit, she wasn't surprised that he didn't stay. She remembered when he refused to acknowledge her existance. He would say something in passing to Ino, Ace or any other person she was with, but he never spoke another word to her.

She had no idea what to think. She wished he would just look back down at her see that she still looked up to him. He was still leading her in a way even she couldn't comprehend.

---

Exis laughed. He was mocking her! Snorting, Lucia turned to ignore him. That was the only way. She was utterly pissed off at him.

"Your ego is huge, Luci. It's sad in a way. Your not that great, no matter what you may think!" He called out over his wine. She didn't even look at him. Instead, she slammed her pay down on the table and left the bar.

'I wish he would mind his own damn business sometimes.' She thought bitterly. She didn't act like a complete a** all the time. She wasn't -that- full of herself.

Was she? Biting her lip, she looked behind her at the bar, regreting her actions and thoughts. It hurt to think this way, but she thought that man was a friend and instead he said things like that? God only knows what else he said to her behind her back.

"Damnitall! See if I help him again!"

---

Something in the way she moved. It attracted him like no other. Something in her smile drew him to her. He didn't ever want to leave her. The only thing that dissapointed him was that she was married now.

Sitting at the reception, he could only try to be happy for the Night Elf. Though, his mind continued to wander and think about the time he had spent with her. She looked gorgeous in that white dress, and he only wished he was the one standing beside her and not that Draenei.

"Do you think your love will grow past her?" A voice beckoned from beside him.

"I don't know." He looked up at the warlock and shook his head.

"Think about it Dark. She was only with you for a short time."

---

Boy, he looked good there standing in the doorway. THe sunset light behind him, casting a shadow across the room. She said she needed more time though. She just wasn't sure about the relationship between them. She felt it growing strained.

He had begged and pleaded her not to leave. She remembered brushing out her hair, listening to him and not saying a word. She never even glanced back to see the tears running down his face.

"I'm going out in the morning, I'm not looking back when I do, Dark." She was sorry it had to be this way, but she wanted to get out and continue her adventures. She wanted to be alone for a while to decide where her heart really was.

Seeing him again now, the night after the wedding, it hurt. She had hurt him and couldn't deny that she missed him.

---

"Have some faith in me. Put your trust in me!" The stupid grin on his face made her laugh. She felt so comfortable in his presence. What better than to fall in love with a Fire Mage?

Ace laughed at his own words and put and arm around her shoulder. "Well, not your complete trust. I've had my stupid moments."

Lucia nodded in agreement. He was a moron at times, but he was her moron and so long as it remained that way she didn't care.

"Well come on, let's go be happy for Chaka and Ino before we leave tonight." He grinned again, leading her off to congradulate the couple.

"All this just makes me wonder when your going to decide to snap and ask me to marry you." She told him, sliding an arm around his waist. He just laughed again and with a snap of his fingers lit the candle on the table before them.

Ino raised her head and looked up at the couple.

---

The name on everybody's lips. Lucia. She was physically dead, and he was dead inside. Damn that b*****d! He was supposed to be her friend. Friend's don't kill each other!

Murder must be some art in his eyes. Ace cursed the other warlock in his mind. He wished that b*****d would just die and feel what Lucia must have when he killed her.

Ace urged his steed on, leaving the city so he wouldn't have to hear anymore about how people were glad she was gone. He knew they would never know her like he did. Lucia was a wonderful girl, she just never got enough love in her childhood.

He met her and instantly saw the lights light up in her eyes. She became a new person the day he came into her life. Until that b*****d, Exis, ruined it for both of them.

Lucia.

---

"Out in the woods is a band of small fairies. If you walk alone at night you'll find them. They laugh and drink and invite you to join them--"

"Your father's just telling stories again, Dana."

"Ino, you know the song. You know the tale. Your one of those gorgeous fairies I found." The Draenei laughed and looked back at his wife. Their son quietly watched between them, listening before chiming in.

"What's the song mother? What does he mean by 'fairy'?" Ino chuckled and looked out into the city streets for a moment before humming a small tune.

"Please come, join, dance in our circle. The voices will make your heart yearn. To please come, join, dance our circle. But know that you'll never return." That was all she could remember. He had met her so long ago, but that song is what drew them together.

---

The elven woman watched the human girl before her. She was struggling so hard to complete the summon. She had been waiting for this moment to arrive, and instead was struggling out of sheer fear of what might happen should she screw up.

While she never spoke, lest she break the girl's concentration. Ino could only think that her friend reminded her of a blackbird. A young blackbird still learning to fly and never giving up hope.

She smiled upon seeing the summon complete and the demon join her side. Lucia had never looked so happy before this moment. She had a companion to help fight when no one else was around.

---

Dark sighed as he watched the couple dance. It only brought back memories of the night he first danced with her. For one moment, the whole world was right. In that moment he would have never guessed she wouldn't be without him today.

They had been sitting on the shoreline, fish cooking over a fire and the elven woman humming some soft, lovely song. He chuckled at the memory and looked back at her dancing now. She still moved as gracefully as she did that night.

"I guess I'll have to miss this dance then..." he muttered, downing the rest of his beer and standing to leave as the song ended. Ino caught his movement from the corner of her eye. As she stepped off the dance floor, she whispered something to Chaka and went for the door to follow her friend into the night.

---

There was no denying the look she had given Exis. He had pissed her off again and she would be out on a killing spree shortly. Though, that hot temper of hers always seemed to impress him. In some weird way.

The warlock shot her companion a dark look as well, causing the fire mage to back off quickly. Sure there were times he was a bit brainless, and acted recklessly, but she didn't care. Right?

"C'mon Lucy~ Let's just forget him for now and take off! We have things to do anyway." Another snarl shot his direction. Alright time to give up and just follow her wherever she goes then.

As long as she was still his, he honestly didn't care about her attitude. He would let her kill to her heart's desire so long as he never lost her to Exis or any other man.
