Biography: Born in Moscow, Russia, Aliminius was the son of a wealthy Russian family. The Soviet Union was in a state of decline, but their education system was still excellent for the upper class, and Aliminius was taught well, learning much about mathematics, physics, history of the world, biology, chemistry, as well as the English language and a strong appreciation for literature. Aliminius's power to control fire was recognized very quickly, and Aliminius was given the best magical education in honing and refining his power. Eventually, Aliminius learned the deepest and darkest secrets of controlling the element of fire, and was forced to immediately put them to use. With the fall of the Wall, Aliminius's family manor was attacked by the poorer working class, who sought to kill the upper class. Aliminius was forced to use his fire powers to drive the crowd away. Unfortunately, a poorly aimed Molotov cocktail had shattered on him in mid-flame, and covered his body in flames. After months of recovery and skin operations, Aliminius came out horribly scarred. Aliminius moved to America, specifically New York City. Every day he would go to work as a maintenance worker, and on the way to work, he would see a strange building sitting in a vacant lot. One day, he decided to investigate, getting off of the bus he usually rode and walking over to the house, going inside. Upon doing so, he was brought to talk to the headmaster. After interviewing, Aliminius was hired as a teacher, and immediately took up residence in his classroom. He immediately put on a mask and gloves and whatnot to cover his skin, so that not even an inch of skin would show. To this day, he wears that same outfit. The mask is not something to draw the eyes in, but rather just a plain metal mask with two slits in it for the eyes. The mask was made of secondhand steel, and therefore is discolored unevenly. He wears black gloves hooked into his shirt, which keep his burnt and scalded fingers hidden from his classes. He usually keeps a book by him at all times, which contains the deepest secrets of the Fire magic, having inherited it from the magician who taught him upon death. He keeps it close to him all of the time, and only the best of his expert class have even gazed into it, let alone read it. Aliminius continues to use his fire powers to teach classes, as well as taking on Physics, since the laws of physics had intrigued him from a very early age.

Other: Aliminius has been seen sometimes lurking around the school at night, and when students look into his classroom sometimes, they see him working on something. Only once has a student ever seen what he was working on, and the student was expelled shortly afterwards.

Biography: Fresh out of Medical School, yes medical school, quite amazing huh, though you should see the expression on the faces of her patients especially those going under the knife. Liriale discovered her power early on in life and had graduated from the University of Enchantment at age 17. Her parents were surprised but proud of her skills in water manipulation, yet she had to keep it under tight secret during her years in medical school. She did however dabble in the art of water healing which had remarkable results. Unfortunately, suspicion arose and some, who were jealous of her mysteriously healing patients, began to whisper rumors that she was a witch. Discouraged and ostracized she began to doubt her future, she couldn’t live without using her magic, it was a part of her. Just when nothing seemed to go well, she received notice from her magical academy. They were in need of an in house doctor, the past doctor, well retired early lets say. It was the perfect match, she could use her water skills in healing without worrying. Liriale even decided to teach those interested in biology while she is the head medical administers to students and teachers. She is new to her job here and is already kept busy with a wide range of injuries and illnesses that could only happen at the University.

Other: Liriale is usually cool and calm especially when duty calls, but can be quite a handful after drinking too much caffeine. She wields no weapon except for the occasional scalpel or stapler. When not teaching, she stays in her doctor office, which has three screened off patient beds, a long wooden desk with stacks of folders and strewed loose notepapers, a side shelf bulging with books and various potions and medicines she brews in the classroom lab next door. She is adamant about eating fruits, vegetables and not smoking so don’t let her catch you eating junk food or lighting up a cigarette. Can be seen habitually walking through the halls in her white lab coat, on her way to the majestic library. She owns a blue motorcycle, which she rides off in through New York city when she needs to take a break.

Biography: Every since Leah first sneezed her parents knew that Leah was not an ordinary child. The sneeze that baby Leah produced, almost brought the house down, but her parents took it lightheartedly saying that they were lucky Leah did not have a runny nose. During her childhood, she lived in a small seaside house connected to a lighthouse overlooking a great cliff that dropped into the crashing waves below. It is always windy at her house, maybe that is why she quickly learned how to manipulate the wind to do her bidding. That ability saved her and Liriale’s life long ago. Leah is an older cousin of Liriale, and when day Liriale had come from the city to visit Leah. The two girls were exploring the cliff when the ground below their feet began to crumble into the ocean below. Liriale, who had no control over her powers, caused the water below to become more violent in their wake. Leah, closed her eyes and controlled the wind around them to swirl upwards tossing the pair back onto the ground. Leah received an invitation from the University of Enchantment and attended the academy at the same time Liriale did, only she was a year older. While Liriale went off to Medical School after graduating from the institute, Leah stayed and worked as the University’s Head Librarian. The two of them are best friends. It was Leah who urged the Headmaster to hire Liriale as the physician of the academy, after learning about Liriale’s treatment at her doctor fellowship.

Other: Everyone knew when Liriale and Leah were mad at each other because when the started a confrontation thunderclouds grew and rumbled above their heads. During these times, students kept a rain jacket and umbrella handy. Leah is a scholar at heart and loves the library she works in. She is calm and cool unless she eats too much chocolate. That weakness usually causes much argument between the health advocate and junk food addict.

Biography: Reggie's history is as mysterious as the headmasters. Every time someone asks him about his childhood or his life growing up he seems to come up with a different answer. His two favorites being that he was raised in Antarctica by a clan of polar bears who gained the ability to speak through the use of ancient magic’s now long lost to the current world, and his other favorite that he was raised in France by his father who owned a traveling circus or his mother who inherited a vineyard and winery from her father. Sometimes he says he traveled with his father other times he lived with his mother. There are many other variations on these stories and many other stories as well. Sufficient to say, no one knows the real story of his past.
As crazy as he often comes across, Reggie is an excellent teacher. Unlike many others of the water element, Reggie specializes in the transformation of water to its other forms (Solid and gas) and the manipulation of those forms as well as of the standard liquid. Because of this his lessons tend to be a bit different then many other water instructors. He has taught at the school before many times at all levels. When one looks back at the old school yearbooks, pictures of Reggie with his former classes can be seen. It is often noted that Reggie looks to be exactly the same age in all these pictures however. Reggie often leaves the school for years at a time to do some research some place or another but he always comes back eventually and usually just at a time when the school needs a water teacher.
Description: Reggie stands about 5'11'' with straight shoulder length blond hair. His eyes are a pale green and he often wears small wire rimmed glasses although whether he actually needs them to read or anything is unknown. He tends to dress in various bright colored usually button down shirts and blue jeans. He will occasionally wear a tie as well.

Biography: Kyuki discovered her power at the age of 13. She went to the University of Magic until the age of 18 and then went off on her own. She found another school that could help her learn how to teach on how to use her element. She studied there for 6 years. When she was 24 Kyuki left that school and traveled. She was signed by a record company for her extraordinary talent at singing but Kyuki quickly learned that it would be very hard for her to keep her power a secret if she were to be come famous. After that Kyuki wandered around for years just enhancing her vocal and elemental talents. Eventually she reached the point she wanted to and is now back at her first beloved school. The University of Enchantment.

It was her senior year of high school, she'd been planning to be so many things, but now everything just seemed rather bleak. She contemplated her situation, almost going into temporary depression, when she realized that it wasn't necessarily a bad thing. Determined not to let such a thing ruin her life, she graduated happily and looked ahead to a bright future. When she received the letter, she was slightly hesitant, but later decided it was for the best, to be with the people who'd done what she had.

Biography: Talo excelled water manipulation from a young age. His parents where thrilled, but feared he would wander far from them. They then arranged for there son to marry a family friend’s daughter so he would settle down as soon as possible. Talo didn’t like this idea so he decided run off the moment he finished school. After spending sometime in abroad. He returned to the U.S. And took a job as the beginner water teacher.
Description: Talo’s most noticeable feature is his eyes. His left eye is blue while his right eye is brown. He has long black hair that he almost instinctively ties back into a ponytail when he is about to fight or is working. He is averaged height and has a lean, but well toned body. If he can he will wear a comfortable pair of jeans, gym shoes, and a T-shirt. He hates ties, but will dress up if he needs too.
Other: Talo is a borderline addict when it comes to apples or anything made from apples. Giving an apple to this teacher is a sure way to his heart. Talo is also in hiding from his parents and the woman he was supposed to marry.

Biography: Kenna was born with Fire powers. When she came into the world, her skin was almost too hot to touch, and she never had gotten rid of the fever. Born in the icy state of Alaska, she was the family's heater. Through school, she was suspended or expelled often. Why? In her earlier years she could not control her powers. And whenever she would accidentally light something on fire, she would immediately try to put it out and pull the fire alarm. Unfortunately, she would succeed at dousing the flame before any help arrived. And so she was blamed for causing trouble, as pulling the alarm for no reason.
Soon enough she got a letter in the mail, and she quickly moved to go to this new University. She loved it, and when she grew too old for its lessons, she wanted to help out the kids as they helped her. And so she became a teacher for the Beginners, just like she first needed.
Description: Kenna has naturally pale skin, and a subtle hourglass frame. Her hair is long, soft, and blonde, and her eyes are a pair of deep garnet. Her body is smaller than average. She is pixie-like in many ways. She has several henna tattoos on her arms and wrists, and is a great fan of them.
Other: She is quiet, sweet, and slightly withdrawn. Usually she is shy, but very kind.
