Aoi flicked a raspberry at the tree boredly. He'd grown annoyed with most of the Ulaya around him. They all so easily fell into line, and single filed into one category; gullible. There was only one being who could see through everything. He excited Aoi, to no end. But that lack of almost any humor was no fun at all! Aoi flicked another raspberry while thinking. 'He has loosened up slightly, since I first came across him.' He sighed. 'But his humor is cruel.'
"Gah!" He threw the rest of the berries at the tree. "Why!?" He swung his claws at the tree leaving slash marks in his wake. His face slowly lost all emotion, and he examined the shallow wound to the tree. Aoi looked down at the claw he'd just shattered preforming such an unremarkable trick. It bled slowly. He put it in his mouth and tried to stop the bleeding. "Why are you soo cold to me?" He pouted and mumbled, claw still in his mouth. "I just want to have fun."

Chronos swallowed a sigh as Kau danced about his feet, weaving in and and of them, excitedly babbling on. Ever since she had met that multitailed mortal the young kit had been bubbling over with curiosity at trying the red berries the other male had the habbit of stuffing himeslf with. Breaking through the forrest and into a clearing Chronos paused, tail wrapping about Kaus' backleg to stop her movement. Blue eyes glanced about the medow, taking in the sight of the very mortal that had started his kits begging of traveling here. His face remained the perfect mask of stoism as he took in the gash on the tree to Aoi, licking his blood from a paw.

Aoi suddenly regretted disposing of all those raspberries. The taste of his own blood was no where as tantelizing as that of the God he'd bitten not too long ago. His own blood was coppery, but Chronos' had a hint of something savory. It made his mouth water to think about it. Subconsiously he ran his tounge over the tip of the shattered claw, causing him to wince and yank it away from his mouth. Upon examination he sighed to himself. Still bleeding. Regardless, he set his paw down and eyed the berries all over the ground. Most were bruised and crushed from impact with the tree.
"Nnnuh." He moaned and shook his head. "I can't believe this." He wandered to the other side of the tree and eyed the bush. There had to be at least one left. He didn't pick that many.

Chronos' eyes slid to Kaus' as the young kit looked imploringly up at him and this time he let the sigh slip past his muzzle. Kau giggled as she climbed atop him, using the chain threaded through his chest for purchase, resting her head atop Chronos' to watch wide eyed at the blue ulaya in the medow before them, but more importantly: The rasberryless bushes.
Focusing key holed eyes upon the bushes Chronos turned his mind inward, watching as a flurry of red threads spun past him before reaching out and grabbing one. The thread was slightly duller in color, a clear indicator of a past event. Grabbing it Chronos deftly snapped it, earsing the event from history.
Focusing eyes again, the previously empty bush was once again brimming with the red berries, and the crushed and bruised ones that once scattered the ground gone.
Squeaking in delight at the specktical, Kau quickly jumped down before clambering away, towards the bushes.

Aoi leaned forward, frowning at the bush. Not a one. "What the-!" He watched in awe as little green buds emerged, and quickly became bright red. Aoi's ears were standing straight up, and his eyes were focused on the bush. Watching. Waiting. For something more to happen. He slowly reached in and plucked one of the new berries, and sniffed it. Proping it in his mouth, he slowly chewed. "Perfect!" He was taken by suprise, by the burst of juice from a berry just right.
He closed his eyes, and reached in slowly for another one. It was almost as if time-- Aoi paused mid-thought, his eyes shot open, pupils turning to dark slights. His mouth worked it's way into a devious grin. "Time." He chuckled to himself. The sound of light rustling cought his attention, and he watched out of the corner of his eye for any signs of who it was.

Slowing to a trot Kau paused in her advance to look behind her, to be sure Chronos was still behind her, and not about to dissapear; though he never had before. With renewed delight Kau pounced forward and practically atop the bushes, sending loose raspberries tumbling to the ground. Her attention focused soley on them, ignoring the munsterr that stood a few paces from her.
Tail swishing lightly behind him Chronos shook his head, sending his long mane falling from his shoulders to drag lightly across the ground.
His fur stood on end slightly as a flash of scenes ran before his eyes for a split second as he loosened his mental grip on his 'powers', the future dancing teasingly before him before he tightened his control, eyebrows downturned in a scowl.

Aoi flinched a little when a small bundle shot from the bushes. He turned his head, and snirked at a familiar kit. "Well well well." He snickered at her. "Beware little succulent berries. There's a monster here to crush you." Aoi chuckled and stepped forward and cought the sight of someone, of more intrest to him, out of the corner of his eye. He turned his attention to the larger male. He was about to call out something mockingly, but Chrono's face suddenly changed.
'I haven't even done anything yet!' He cursed in his head. 'Jeeze, at least let me have fun before you start at me with a scowl.' He looked back at Kau, and sighing. "I wonder why there's a monster at my feet." Aoi teased lightly.

Mouth full of berries, Kau turned her head to give Aoi a scowl of her own before giving her attention to the bushes one again. Tail twitching, signaling the end of her 'talk' with Aoi.
Catching himself, Chronos once again smoothed his features. Walking swiftly to the tree that had once been smeared with berries, once been etched with claw marks, Chonos settled down. Tail tracing invisible images into the ground as he quietly waited for Kau to finish gorgeing herself.

Aoi sighed at being ignored, and decided against pestering an eating child. Instead he opted to pay a visit to a certain god, now laying under the tree. He snirked as he made his way closer. "You look comfortable." He commented lightly. "What brings you two all the way over here?" Aoi eyed Chronos closely.
A sudden pulsation of pain brought Aoi's attention back to his claw. 'You fixed everything other than my claw?' He was unexpectedly saddened by the thought. But none the less, he brought the paw back up to his mouth, and attempted to rid himself of the stinging sensation.

A noncommittal rummble escaped his chest as Cronos let his eyes travel over Aoi once before bringing them back up to the ulayas face. "Kau wanted to." He said, tail curling itself in knots lazily, as if that explained everything. And really it did, he supposed.
Startling blue eyes glanced back down at Aoi as he brought his paw to his mouth, the smallest of smirks pulling at Chronos' lips.

Aoi turned his head and glanced back at Kau, before looking back at Chronos. He flicked a tail and smirked at being eyed. He went to make a remark, only to bite his claw without thinking. His fur stood on end as he attempted to hold back a yelp of pain. "Ngh." Was that came out. Aoi slowly pulled his claw out and eyed it. It was bleeding now more than before. "Owch." He mumbled while staring.
Aoi sighed and put his paw down and took a deep breath before staring at Chronos. Taking a moment to look him over. Chronos had changed quiet a bit recently. He'd shed those chains and clock Aoi had loved, and gained a clock imbeded in his chest. Along with a large hourglass that came and went as Chronos pleased. Or maybe it was always there... Aoi was not always observant when Chronos was around.
When he was with Chronos, Aoi tried to get a few steps ahead, but Chronos was rarely fooled. Not like everyone else. Aoi's heart raced when he thought of the rush he got from the games. But his alkalize heel, Kau, was problematic. Aoi had a soft spot for children. Kau used to be soo cute! But lately, she was getting smart, and she knew how to use Aoi.
Aoi winced at the pain he sent up his arm from running his claw over a pebble. He sighed and locked eyes with Chronos. "So." He paused for a moment. "Do you always do what little girls tell you?" He snickered.

Kau got 'sleepy' and Chronos and her went home. Much to Aoi's dismay.
