Kahawia had to get away and find some food. Tama's kids were large enough to get it for themselves but they hadn't started bringing it back to share. So she left them for a few moments to find herself a small animal to kill. She kept a lookout for some sort of movement nearby.

Chukua wandered around the lands, his stomach weary from hunger. His legs had become tired from his long travels. He looked around the tall grass, searching for something to help his empty stomach. His ears swiveled around, listening to everything around him. He crouched down low into the tall grass, and kept his eyes and ears peeled.

Kaha listened intently. She crouched low to the ground as she saw the grass ahead of her wave. She licked her lips thinking of what the creature could be. A nice rabbit would hi the spot even if it was on the small side. Just a few bites was all she needed. Her haunches shimmied slightly as she prepared to pounce.

Chukua finally caught the sent of what ever was in front of him. His brow furrowed before he rose up, peeking over the grass. "Hello?" He said as he looked over to see a brown cheetah. A sigh of relief came over him as be settled down. He was glad he hadn't made a move, he didn't want to injure the young lady. "I'm sorry about that ma'am, thought you were gonna be dinner for a moment." He said and let out a laugh as he inched closer and sat down on his haunches.

Kahawia stared up at the blue face that had appeared out of nowhere. Since she was facing the leopard already, she assumed that the stranger was surely what she was about to pounce upon. "It's alright," she replied to him and slowly rose her head to his level. "I could say the same to you."
