My mom tried to test her blood pressure machine on me because she thought it might be broken. Too bad she had it set to read a higher blood pressure level than what mine is normally. So it keeps squeezing my arm until it hurts, then tries to find my pulse. It couldn't find my pulse, so it decides to add more pressure to it. That's when I'm noticing that arm is starting to turn a blue-ish color. gonk
So I took it off and she realized that the pressure was set too high and lowers it, then tries my other arm. Both my arms are normal now. 3nodding

Ouch that sounded painful.. I hate those machines.... xp They never get an accurate reading from me because my blood pressure goes up whenever I go near one of those freaking things.

I agree with General Lae, even though my blood pressure and heat rate were both "textbook" levels last time I got them checked, according to the nurse. You can't tell me that seeing that obnoxious sleeve or scary machine come near doesn't mess things up a bit.
They had one of the machines in a pharmacy store we used to go to when I was little, and my brother and I would turn it on (it must have been free) and stick our little hands in instead. It's funny when the thing's trying to find a pulse in a hand it can't get around. It's scary when it's got your arm in a deadlock.
