Alright, So This is how it went down folks. This week I went on a retreat with a new church. I didn't really know anyone, and frankly, was not getting much from this church, but let's start from the beginning. Sunday morning my family was deciding if we should go to church. We finally decided to go. We then found out that morning the retreat we had hoped for was this month, not next like we had planned. Thankfully, we were able to get everything together in one day. Now let me just say that I have been told in my life that I am very religious. I'm one of those freaks you see that lay on the ground, and get on their knees calling out to God. The very first night of this retreat until the end, I started to think someone was literally calling my name, no one was in my condo with me, or around. This went on all week. by the last day, throughout the week I had suffered jellyfish stings, man of war stings, Skimboarding marks (by marks I been bloody gashes) A dislocated arm (It was put back in), sunburn, and soreness all over. On the final day in our scheduled alone time with God, I prayed out to him. "Father, If there is something you are trying to tell me then please do. I spend so much time talking to you I forget to listen So I'll do that now." I sat there and then he started to LITERALLY talk to me! (Like not out loud but in my head) And I was like. "Ok this cannot be real" Ya know freaking out! And I asked him. "Father God, If this is what you want of me, confirm it, open doors so I don't just think I have been out in the heat to much XD" And that night in the sermon, guess what it was about? When God tries to 'catch' us and get our attention. You know, what I wanted in my life is to do graphic dezign, I realize looking back how many doors he has opened in the field of music. That's where I'll head now. I just wanted to share this expierience with you guys to let you know that God DOES talk to us if you'll listen.

*One other thing* My family has never really been religious, I came to camp trying to escape all of the neglect, all of the fighting among my parents, all of the worldly things of my brother, and just...everything. It all caught up to me and I was foolish. People, God does heal, Those wounds are still there, and will allways be there, but have scars over them now. I can now say this is where I "WAS" wounded. Bottom line...It's just such a great feeling to have a Daddy that loves us.

I don't buy it. I don't. God speaks to ye as a voice in your HEAD? I think there is a medical term for that. I know it sounds very mean but I am super skeptical of God speaking to you in your HEAD. To be honest I don't believe in God at all so him talking seems a little too much like a cry for help. Now if you truly believe that he talked to you and seemed to open doors for you, fine. Though I think you coulda opened them yourself.

It takes someone who truly knows God to understand when you know he speaks to you...
Just as it takes a practicing Wiccan (like yourself, am I right?) to understand the "spells" that she or he does~
Only in this case you have a chance to know God because of Jesus ^^

Wow! That is really really radtastic, Aisu. I don't think God has ever done such a thing to me, but He has shown me tons of things to show me that He loves me. He has given me the Spiritual Gift of Faith and let me tell you that it's fantastic and I cherish it everyday. I seem to be a bit unique in my community with how deep I am in my Christianity, though. I pray in public and I never care who is paying attention. I live in a small community, so finding others like me is rare, but I'm always trying to be an example and I'm never afraid to admit that I believe in God. My family is kinda the same as yours. I'm the most religious in my family and I even brought my entire family, excluding my brother, back to church! It was a great thing and I know it's something God called me to do. They're not into it as much as I am, but I'm just glad I could bring us back to church. I used to want to go into video game design and about a year ago, I changed what I wanted to do to Music. I want to go to college out in Southern California at Azusa Pacific University. It's a great Christian college that has an awesome course in Music and you should definitely take a look at it. I'm hoping to get accepted there and start an education in Music Production. I believe God has brought me to APU to help change the world for Him through fantastic Christian music. I listen to a lot of Christian Screamo; underOATH(greatest band ever!), Spoken, Life In Your Way, blessthefall, etc. I also listen to Christian rock on occasion, such as The Almost. But music and religion are my passions and they tend to go hand in hand. Music has impacted my life in so many ways and I would not be the person that I am today with it or God. I believe God will help me succeed in this, but not without some effort on my end, so, needless to say, I will have to work at getting accepted and becoming what I want to be. Check out Azusa. I think you might like it. God bless!

If you'd like to see it you can to go www.fullsail.com And that's great that you brought your family back to church! It's so great to see that. Now if only I had the faith to do that with my family...

If anything it's glory to god and would not benefit me to lie about so why would I do it? Another thing, And if it's a medical term why did god talk to people in the bible? I think that when we tune ourselves into this world and what it has to offer, we miss what god tries to say to us. Yes you could be right, but I really have a feeling in my gut that tells me it was no ordanary conversation. and that's all I have to go by.

And now its cute you believe this and well, people claimed in the bible they talked to him but I take that with a grain of salt. Since things illegal now weren't then. Drugs and such to help attain a higher sense. Now if in your gut it was not ordinary, it could be your own psyche telling you what you need or want to hear to help you find your way for one thing or another. The human intuition is an amazing thing. Muzac Wicca is not exactly my beliefs. Spellcasting is not something I was ever good at. Tarot, Runes, and intuition have benefited me. Now i hold beliefs loosely since I am rather jaded I suppose with how my life started and is going, but that is how it is. And you do not have to truly understand anything to do it. We have an idiot in office right now who has no real clue how to lead or anything that entailed in the presidency yet he did it. And I am in a family that is bother strict Roman Catholic and Lutheran so the whole "you need to understand" speech is wasted on someone who knows this. And to be honest, no one will ever truly know God. No one. Even the most enlightened and faithful Christian will ever truly know him.

Us Christians will know him when we die, Ricette. You don't need to beleive, but God works in mysterious ways. Not only that, but are you calling Moses, David, Solomon and Jesus drug addicts?
