The day was rather warm and it was one of those perfectly lovely days to go to the park. Chocolate dragged on her harness seeing the other dogs playing before her. Alls she wanted to do was RUN! Finally the leash was off and like a bullet she made several laps about the park then finally stopped infront of her owner. Nudging her she wanted her to do laps as well- but being out of shape she laughed and shook her head.
"I'd never be able to keep up with you."
Again Chocolate pleaded with her big blue eyes. But that wasn't enough to budge the human from the perch of a bench she was using. Prehaps she'd get up later if she showed her how wonderful running laps and beelines really were. Again she dashed off towards the middle of the park and as if setting a marker for herself ran around it again several times then skidded to a halt at some random point in the park. Too bad her owner didn't join her she was having too much fun!

Dash was hardly a runner, afterall, he was just a pup. He didn't even know what a race-track was. Having come from a show greyhound breeder, the prey drive in him had almost entirely been bred out of him.
Sauntering into the park, with his owner following him calmly. He gave away his presence with a sigh. Again. His owner seemed to be obsessed with bringing him here, but did he not even realize that his dog didn't like it. Sure, of course, one would assume that dogs love being with other dogs. But hell. They were all so different looking from him. Dash's dull eyes flicked around boredly, until he saw the most beautiful dog ever!
Another greyhound like him?!

Chocolate had been a track dog her entire life. Bred to be the fasted money maker ever. Unfortuantly she was fast- just not fast enough. So it was either a choice of being rehomed to her current owner or the most unfortunate. Lucky for her, her owner had been there to save her from what must have been a perilise fall. But that being said she had a more upbeat personal and a toned body then a show dog persay. Though in the long run this didn't matter- she had one agenda now; and again it involved her creating a ditch in the park where she had created her own 'track'.
Over time she seamed to reposition herself every so often, she wasn't really the smoothest runner; this was prehaps why she didn't succed on the track. She cut her edges rough- prehaps abit too rough as she had to again avoid skidding into a tree. Stopping for a few seconds to laugh at her delema she noticed another quite like her- only smaller. He had to be pretty young. But it was rare to see other greyhounds about; expecially puppies. She never did get a chance to see younger dogs of her breed. They had all been seperated so they could be trained. Taking the opertunity to be curious and learn the brindle troted over to the pup with a smile.
"Your a greyhound aren't you?" She cocked her head most pleasently long nose protruding. She wanted to make sure he really WAS a greyhound. This way she didn't come off stupid- just curious.
