No More

A day goes by
the hurt is more
tears are cold
pain is real

an open wound will never close
for the hurt that has been caused
time is healing
but never hides

The scar that is there will remain for years
maybe not visabile to the eyes
but visabile to the heart

Emotion is more
then what you can see
it's what you can feel
it's what you cause

tears are cold
pain is real
doubled over

a hand is held out
but can not be reached
for the hurt is a barrier
that holds back

pain is real
tears are cold
open wounds never heal

If only time could be turned back
maybe then a door kept closed
and the pain would be no more
