I loved this episode, personally . . especially since I own a copy of the comic issue it was modeled off of. My youngest sister liked it too, since she won a buck off me for Klunk being in it! (I'm so pessimistic, sometimes, that I just assume that something's going to be taken out . . . and, really, the bet was to make it so that she could have something to look forward to Christmas morning anyways wink )
It was so great to see Klunk in color! (Anybody else think it's totally cute that Klunk's in "Mikey" colors?) An orange tabby with green eyes does fit Mikey to a tee!
Oh! and Leo and Usagi exchanges gifts was fun, too! (I guess we know what those two boys'll be happy with anytime you give gifts! wink )

i liked the episode too. too bad i barely remember it as i type this because the guilds have been down for so many days now gonk
but the ending was really good with everybody giving the gifts to the children. it was heart warming and one of the reasons why we all love TMNT heart

My two sisters were laughing their heads off at how cute Splinter looked, dressed up as Santa at the end! Too bad we weren't ablel to use some pic's from this episode on the Holiday thread! That woulda been cute!

Yep. Klunk is totally awesome. Hopefully he'll show up in more episodes of the show than he did the issues of the comic.
And is there no episode this week? Everything says it's football.

I absolutely loved this episode. Klunk was the cutest thing in the world. My dad and I didn't see the very beginning of the episode because the tape cut it off (our VCR clock is wrong) so I didn't understand where Mikey got Klunk from... sweatdrop
Oh well...
I hope that there is another episode next week, because if not... you know I'll be very upset.

what's funny is that christmas really threw off my internal clock and i forgot that TMNT was even on that day. i got TMNT 2 game for christmas and was actually playing that while TMNT was on TV whee

Yeah it is not often that a cartoon has a christmas special on christmas day. It was nice to see the Purple Dragons again, as well as Klunk making his appearance in the new series. I hope to see that cat around the lair.
The only character actually missing from the Turtles Dinner was Leatherhead, yet for good reason. This episode was released before we learned of Leatherheads fate and the writers probably did not want to spoil it so i let his absance go.

Real long story made shorter I was on fumes the whole day, for fear of sleeping through the episode, and probably would have ripped apart anyone who jeapordized the taping! (You don't mess with me when I've hardly slept!) My Leo-loving bud says that's when I "channel [my] inner Raph!" sweatdrop I'd have to agree!
