Erik wandered around aimlessly, Sekhmet was pregnant again and his two younger sons had gotten their loves pregnant as well. His mind drifted to Ares, wondering what was to come of him but he thought not to worry. He could take care of himself. He always had been.
Silver orbs glanced at the trees that danced while the wind sang, and the stars lit the night. He thought the night was always more active than the day time. Just because there were less soquili didn't mean their was less movement. He smiled as he let his mind wander. He should probably go tend Sekhmet. He remembered when they met and she was so stubborn and he brought her a rose. Silly thing she was. And now they were about to have more children. He smiled softly.

The whispers of swaying branches as they danced to the winds' unheard melody... The twinkle of the water splashing against the smook river stones held in their grasp... The goddess who midnight-blue robe covered the sky, the stars woven into the dark fabric glimmering like diamonds... The night was truly a beautiful thing.
Little Nakia had walked away from her parents and brothers, at first intent on quenching her thirst; now though, the nights' beauty had attracted the young filly and led her to wander. Neon blue eyes sparkled as a shooting star streaked across the heavens.
Make a wish? Or save that wish for someone else?
She then laughed and shook her head, a yellow and blue streak bangs flopping into her eyes which were pushed away soon by the gentle breath of the wind.

The night normally seemed to settled, with his black body tucked against his mother's side, but right now the earth seemed to be screaming for movement. Fen had no choice but to move too. Stumbling slightly, limbs half asleep and gangly, the little colt moved quickly to catch up with his sister. Where did Nakia think that she was going?
It was so beautiful out, it was not easy to blame her for wanting to be out when the moon shone so purely...
The little bit of exercise could turn out to be a bit on the dull side because of where they were headed. Nakia seemed to be going to where they always went to drink. If that were the case then he'd just sneak back to his warm spot beside mamma. Wild animal calls made his ears dance back and forth with curiosity.
Finally Fen came to a rest a few feet from Nakia... To come up or go back?
The laugh she gave made him choose, Fen step up beside her and simply smiled. Seeing no reason to use words. His mane and tail, made entirely of fire, were crackling merrily and seemed to reach out to give Nakia a hug. They only truly hurt someone when anger or fear were in full bloom. Otherwise he was as harmless at the next soquili.

Erik heard footsteps, small footsteps...children. His brow rose and his ears flickered and he walked in the direction. He made sure to approach from behind. He wasn't called Phantom for no reasons. He looked at them, they looked oddly familiar. He stepped out of the brush and snorted at them, making them aware that he was their.
The little silver filly looked pale and ghostly in the night where the dark colt looked as the night. His gray eyes watched as they frolicked at this time of the night. Skinwalkers were out at this time. Did they know nothing. What were their parents teaching them?

At the familiar warmth of fire beside her, Nakia simply smiled and reached out to tug on her brothers' ear before making a move towards the stream infront of them....
That is, if the Stallion hadn't suddenly popped out from the brush behind the two of them. At the cracking of the branches, Nakia gave a startled squeak and spun around. Wide, neon-blue eyes took in the sight of the elder: Fur as black as a starless night, locks and wings tipped crimson red....the thing that caught her attention, however, was the mask-like marking on his face....
Swallowing nervously, she spoke softly; "Good evening, sir." She bowed her head with respect at the elder. "I-I apologize if my brother and I disturbed you in anyway. We were just taking a drink from the stream."

It was at this point that the last of the family made his appears, having followed both his siblings from afar, trying out some sneaky skills that might or might not have been there in the first place. The dark stallion that suddenly came out of no where. He looked like he was going to attack. "You leave my sibling alone!" The little foal raced around the stallion and stood infront of his siblings, the fire on his hoove wavered more agresively than normal. He didn't care who this stallion was but if he tried to hurt his siblings little Khet would burn his feathers off. His own silver orbs met the adults...They seemed to...Match in colour.

Erik's head lowered, "Did your parent's not teach you any manners?" he growled lowly. He knew whom these three were by appearance. They were Atum's. "It's a pity your Atum, never let me visit." his ears flickered at a howl in the night. "You shouldn't be out here." he looked at the one who was a nervous wreck. "You shouldn't go in the dark, bad things happen out here when there isn't someone watching you." Sometimes things happen when they are being watched. His brows furrowed at them. "What're your names anyways, Atum never got around to telling me." he subtly though of lazy in his head about his elder son.

Fen kept his head about him and simply turned around when the phantom being snuck up on them. His mane popped once, it's flames the only giveaway that he'd been scared nearly witless by having someone come out of nowhere. His eyes, golden and calculating, waited until the elder had finished making his speech.
Slipping Nakia a little half-smile then another to Khet, he couldn't help but feel like the fish out of water. Even strangers that they came upon had wings... The distracting thoughts continued to roll through his mind until his pappa's name was mentioned. Ears pricked forward with curiosity, finally taking in what was being said.
"How do ye know our pappa? M'names Fenuk." That was enough of a give away for now, polite but a bit on the pointed side.

"Fenuk?" subtly in his mind he was going, great what are the others' names. He supposed it would grow on him. "Because I am his father." he replied in an almost too dark tone. His silver eyes looked at the foal coldly, he was not impressed with the colt's tone towards him. Anyone else, skinwalker or kalona would be delighted to rip his throat out for his boldness and insubordanation. He looked to the other two, the less bold ones, for a moment and then back to the other. He had to admit he was impressed with this Fenuk.

So this was his grandfather? A few sad thoughts rolled through his young mind. In a family of winds, they must pride themselves on being able to fly about. Would his pappa's side of the family try to look down on his mother and him for their differences? Both ears tucked down in total determination before he sighed softly. A breathey sign of fatigue and stress. "That'd mean yer our granda." The desire to prop up a foot was strong, but it wouldn't do to be off-guard at a time like this...
So long as Nakia was safe as well as Khet, it'd be all right. Out of the three of them he'd probably be most helpful in starting a distraction if it came to that. He'd just have to light something on fire and run like hell. Ah, that was surely the cowards way out. Why did all of his ideas end up showing such total weakness? What about him eminated a certain failure.
"Do ye know me mam then?" He had inheritated his mother's accent, from spending so much time around her learning to control his temper and therein his flames... it thickened when he wasn't thinking about being clear and enunciating. ... another lesson to learn...

The foal canted his head head. "Your not Fenuk's father! Dad is our father." Khet had taking what the stallion had said all wrong, not relizing that he was talking to his grandfather. "Khet." He added with a snort. "Oi Fen, why are we talking to this stranger. Mamma is going to be mad...." Khet canted his head the other way. "Ya look like Uncle Aureate mister...I dunno how but ya do....ya our cousin or something?" He was trying to piece this all together in his mind.

Nakia simply watch in silence as her two brothers questioned the elder stallion. He did indeed look much like their Uncle...and if he did know their papa, then he could be their grandfather...
Of course, what did she know? Nakia never learned much about their family lineage. Unfolding her silver/white wings, she gave them a small flap before folding them against her body. "I am....I am called Nakia, sir." Her voice was a low whisper as she stood behind her kin. "Um...uh....Our parents are not far off from where we stand...so, there should be nothing for us to fear...hopefully..."

He wished Khet would stop being as dull minded as he was, Fenuk got it, Nakia seemed to. He shook his head at Khet, simply discouraging him. He looked back to Fen, "I've met her on a brief occasion." his head turned to the innocent filly, "There is always something to fear from the dark, and your parents can't protect you when they aren't here. Can they?" his brow rose at her. "Those few moments, that it takes them to get here, could end in your death if someone wishes for it." he wasn't implying himself but skin walkers and kalonas.
