Fang's legs only carried him quicker and quicker as he walked. Back to where he and Midori stayed. This time, he had Koray come with him on his walk. His little fluff tail flicked back and fourth as he walked. Fang stopped every now and then to glance back at his son to see if he was following or not. Each time, his son gave him an angry look. Too protective of a father? Fang didn't think so.

User Image
Koray glared at his father. There he went again, turning to look and see if he was still following. Of course he followed, though, he didn't see why he did. A growl escaped him when his father looked again. Now, Koray could tell when his father was going to turn and look back to see if he was following. Five, four, three, two, one. There he went, turning his head to see if he was following. Both of them left a trail of fire, father didn't mean to, but Koray loved to on purpose.

Midori lay in a cave, grooming her more well behaved son. Not that Tori couldn't be bad at times, but he wasn't bad ALL the time. The cave floor was cold, and quite rocky. Midori didn't mind, she liked cold. Plus, the rock couldn't catch on fire with all the fire roaming around in the family. She continued to n** at the young kits fur as he moved around. Midori wasn't much of a mother, but she tried. And she didn't want her kits running around with dirty fur all the time. And as she continued to n** and clean his fur, she waited for her two other loves to come back.

"Stay still, will you."

Tori moved around, trying to escape his mothers nurturing side. He didn't like to be cleaned that much, it just wasn't him. Plus, he was a kit, and a boy at that. He wasn't all fur either, there were scale like features on him as well. That part of his fur never really got dirty. But anyway! He continued to move about, not wanting to get clean. And not wanting his brother to see him like this. He'd only harass him like he did everyone. Then again, he'd probably do the same even if he wasn't getting groomed. So, he decided to just stay still, his tail lying on the cold rock floor.

"Yesss mother.."

Fang glanced back and then looked ahead, the cave opening was closer now. His pace quickened, and he glanced back one last time to make sure his son followed right behind him. Just as he had wanted, Koray picked up his pace as well. Fang's red eyes looked ahead, excited to see the other half of his family. When he entered the cave and saw his son being cleaned, he smiled. "Now everyone will be speachless when they see you."

Koray sighed and let his pace quicken when his father's did. His green eyes looked at the cave ahead of them. Why did he even leave with his father? There truly was no purpose in the walk... all they did was talk... boring! Once he entered the cave and noticed his brother being cleaned, he snickered a little. "Yeah, they'll be speachless because they'll be too busy laughing." It was fun making fun of his brother, it let him know who was older in this family.

Midori continued to clean her sons fur, as he lay there like a stump. Her tail moving about as she happily clean him. She looked up, hearing others near. Her mate and other son must be close. A bigger smile appeared on her face as she waited for them to come back. Midori had always loved her family. Even if there were a few difficult ones lurking around. You could never make her hate or dislike anyone in her family.
She looked up as the other half of her family walked into the cave. Giving a little giggle at Fangs comment. Giving him a smile and going back to cleaning her kit. But before she did that, she had to say a greeting.

"Welcome back."

Tori lie there, barely moving as his mother cleaned him. His fiery tail resting on the cold rock. He let out a couple mumbles and grumbles here and there. But he had basically given up on resisting his mother. He could do nothing more, as she wouldn't let him go. And if he did some how escape, she'd probably begin to whine and sob. And no son wants to see their mother do that. Especially since his was still much like a kit.
He looked over as he saw his brother and father walking back in. He was surprised his brother even went for a walk with their father. And completely ignored their comments, as he knew they'd come. But he had to say something back to his brother. And he had a little idea of what he might say.

"At least I don't have eyeliner on me ALL the time." He rolled his eyes at his brother.

Fang flicked an ear at their sons. He sighed a little and gave each of them a stern look. Name calling wasn't gentlemanly. All he wanted to do was be a better father than his own father was to him. He sighed a little at the thought of his kid's grandfather. When Midori spoke, Fang listened closely. "Glad to be back." Fang answered, trotting over and laying next to her.

Koray ignored their father's look and decided to continue this little battle. A vicious smile appeared on his maw. "At least I don't go around flirting with every possible thing I see." He nodded his head at his brother, ready for a come back that wouldn't affect Koray at all. Insults never seemed to hurt him.

Midori was finishing up cleaning Tori when Fang came to lay next her. Finishing up, she took her paws off him, indicating that she was done cleaning him. She wasn't going to ask Koray to come over, as her two sons had began their name calling game. He didn't think he'd come over anyway. Midori just went to lie closer to Fang as she watched her children. She didn't mind their name calling. She had always thought it was okay if siblings fought. Who doesn't fight with their siblings? Especially at the age that they were. Even Midori fought with her sister from time to time. It was fun when you're a kit. They'd eventually learn to tone it down as they got older.

Tori ignored his father's look. He was on the same page as his mother when it came to fighting with siblings. He knew how to be quite the mature gentleman when he wasn't around his brother. But he wouldn't let his brother walk all over him. So, he had to fight back when it came to him. And anyone else who tried to walk all over him, in fact. Tori sat up, and stayed next to his parents, not wanting to move. He caught his brother smile and rolled his eyes at him. He knew his brother would always get into trouble no mater how old he was. And that really annoyed Tori, that his brother would always be the same.

"That's better then harassing and beating everyone and everything I see."

Fang didn't like the name calling one bit. It possibly meant that it would continue in the future. When both of his kids ignored his look, he spoke up. "Guys, stop." A fatherly, harsh tone in his voice. He wanted his kids to respect others, though it would be hard with Koray, Fang would at least try to teach it to Tori before he became an adult. Silently, he waited for the two to acknowledge his request and stop, but instead of that happening...

Like Koray would listen to his father. When did the old man think that would ever happen? Never! His split tail that he shared with his mother and brother flicked a little as his brother spoke. A smirk appeared on his face and he seemed to almost shrug off his brother's words. "Well, at least I know I'm strong... unlike you." His tail flicked more, the name calling would stop one day, but it would only lead to actual fighting in its place.

Midori looked back and forth at her two sons as they spoke. Getting a little bit tired, she yawned and curled up closer to Fang. She knew they wouldn't listen to him and would only continue on. Which is why she didn't say anything. And the other reason of course. Her ears twitched at the sound on her sons voices. And her tail moved about like a snake on the ground. She really didn't know what else to do. So, she continued to watch her sons and let out another yawn.

Tori also paid no attention to his father. He might've if his brother weren't around and didn't keep going with the name calling. But again, he wasn't gonna let him win and walk all over him. His tail also moved around like a snake on the cold rock floor. He listened to his brother speak, with much annoyance on his face. He'd be quite pleased when he didn't have to see his brother EVERY single DAY. Less of a nuisance he'd have to deal with.

"Are you now? I'm jussst a** sstrong a** you. I don't have to go around acting all tough and mean to know that." He rolled his eyes again.

Fang sighed and decided to split this up, until he felt Midori curled up closer to him. He didn't want to leave his spot, but knew that his sons needed to learn to respect him and each other. A growl rumbled deep in his throat to warn his children he was growing very irritated. His blood red eyes glanced from Tori to Koray, a glare sitting on his face.

Koray laughed a little at their father's growl. Of course he wouldn't do anything and he wouldn't let his brother when this argument. Not only was he mean, but Koray was also arrogant. His ears turned towards his brother when he spoke and the purple kit laughed a little, the tips of his tail flicked slightly. "Is that so?" He shook his head slightly at his brother. "I'm not acting tough." Koray loved to hear his brother speak, it was hilarious to him. Always having those extra S's in every word with an S.

Midori curled up with Fang. The voices of her sons echoed in her head. She oddly seemed quite tired all of a sudden. She couldn't help but close her eyes. She was sure one of her sons would give out sooner or later. Then there wouldn't be much happening. It didn't seem like this family was very "together". It was very quiet when no one was arguing. She didn't mind though. She liked quiet sometimes.

Tori could tell his father was getting quite aggravated with him and his brothers bickering. And he himself was getting much more annoyed with him. So, he thought he'd do his father a little favor.

"Really? Well you fooled me."

He then stood up, walking away from his brother. He rested by the entrance, away from his brother and his remarks. Tori sometimes liked to get away from his family. He couldn't at the moment, as his parents were both around. But I suppose looking out to what was around their living place would help him a little. Better then dealing with his brother.

Fang heard nothing but silence. A sigh escaped him as he watched their green son walking towards the entrance of the cave. Fang was pleased to see who was more mature out of his two sons. Koray would learn one day... hopefully. For now, Fang kept a close eye on Tori, unsure what to do. All he wanted to do was be a good father to these two, but it seemed he was failing miserably.

Koray smirked at his brother. "It seems I'm getting good at fooling others." His tail flicked back and fourth now as he watched his brother simply walk away. Koray's shoulders shrugged. Of course Tori ran away, he was good at that, as well as flirting. The purple kit looked from his brother to his parents then out the cave. This family was far too boring. One day, when he was grown, he'd walk out of this cave and hopefully never return. He'd leave his brother, mother, and father happier probably without him.

Midori curled up closer to Fang. The silence made her quite tired, as she had nothing to keep her attention. She let out another yawn as she watched Tori walk to the entrance of the cave. She had always known Tori was more mature out of the two. And she was glad that at least one of them knew when to walk away and such. She smiled at him, and then turned to Koaray with and awed looked. She wondered if he would ever be nice... To anyone. She let out another yawn, about to fall asleep on Fang.

Tori looked out around his surroundings. Sometimes he'd wish to have a better brother, but he knew that wouldn't happen. So, he'd either have to avoid his brother forevers, or just learn to deal with it. However, once he is an adult, he probably won't see his brother much. He knew his brother wouldn't want to stick around when he was an adult. It just didn't seem like something he would do. But enough about him. He might as well sleep, or something.

Fang stayed still, letting Midori fall asleep. His head lowered onto his front paws as his red eyes watched his two children. Tori was an over all better kit. He obviously didn't take after Fang's side of the family. His eyes looked back to Midori. Wasn't her father nice...? He shrugged and laid his head back down to watch his two children. Tori looked as though he would fall asleep soon. Hopefully Koray wouldn't cause any trouble and would just go to sleep. Fang's eye lids were growing heavy as he watched his kids.

Koray looked at his family and smirked lightly. Everyone seemed to be falling asleep. He wanted to laugh at their foolishness, but stayed quiet. His tail flicked back and fourth slowly, to lull his father to sleep. When everyone was asleep, he'd sneak out and find a place to live when he was older. Of course he wouldn't stick around this family... they were too soft for him. Though, he had a feeling father would look for him if he didn't stop by at least once in a while. He growled a little at the idea of his father always being worried about him and his brother.

Midori pawed at the ground before she basically fell asleep. It seemed like her uneventful days make her much more tired then her eventful ones... Before she had children. I suppose when when you have children to take care of, your old life diminishes some. But there is always getting used to her old life once her children were all grown up. Midori sure needed some new adventures.

Even though Tori had nothing to really do, he also wasn't tired. He didn't have to look back at the rest of his family to tell who was tired and who wasn't. But that didn't really matter. What mattered was Tori needed something to do... Then he began to think. How was it that he even came to be? His parents seemed so boring... Were they just boring together, and fell in love? Well, that would've quite the boring way to start things. He shrugged his shoulders and continued looking out into the wilderness. Maybe once his parents were asleep, he'd be able to wonder out a little bit. You never know what you can find out there, even if just a feet or two away.

(( Wows, they are quite interesting. XD ))
