I read the EVerworld books a long time ago and only made it about half way through the series then decided to wait for the last one.

Everworld is a series about a world where all the old Gods went after people stopped beleiving in them. Each set or region of the Gods has their own area with their own people. For example the Greek gods have thier palaces centaurs mermaids etc. But alien gods are also brought to this world and they are god eaters. So the four main characters teens from our time and world David Chris Jamil and April are transported to this world by Sena a girl who is poweful and mysterious.

Not for people under the age of 14 fast read the books are small but there are alot of them. I have decided to buy mine at used book sales because they aren't really worth paying full price for .

You know I once had an idea like that when I was younger O.o

Except the gods got their people to fight for their sides and their followers would somehow invest some type of power from their god.

Some weird crap when I was young, my mind's not as creative as it used to be.

of course you are still as creative you just have to spin in circles and slide on the slides head first again

I thought the books were extremely well researched for being a children's series. The gods are cleverly mixed together and appropriated characterized.

I also appreciate how Senna is first introduced, kind of like Jacob from Virginia Woolf. You don't hear from her until the very end and everyone has a different account of her and the events.

I always liked K. A. Applegate's sarcastic humor and vivid characters. I adored Animorphs more, but still.

I do think that her people and gods are really realiztic i enjoy the fact that she adds in the stuff that you alway wonder about, like bathroom breaks and food and what happens when you don't like the leader being the leader
