Private Rp between Duelist of Pokemon and myself. X3 The wind was tugged at his feathers as he flew, whipping his hair into his eyes, which were slitted already at the wind. Maybe if he slowed down, he could see better, but what would be the fun in that? Laughing and kicking his feet out, he twisted in the air abruptly before going back to circling lazily above the land. It was the perfect day for flying. It had to be, in any case, since he had nothing better to do. His uncle had long since given up trying to knock some sense into him, finally realizing that this was just the way Dreyden was. The young stallion grinned as he recalled his uncle's mutterings that it was all because of the bad genes Dreyden got from his father. And judging by the stories circulating told about his father, Dreyden didn't doubt that fact in the least. Good genes were overrated anyway. Turning red eyes back to the ground, he searched for something to occupy his time. After all, he couldn't just fly forever, even if he rather wanted to.

The young foal was happily splashing around in a shallow creekbed near where several other Soquili were standing around, talking. Some shot the young colt disgruntled looks at the behavior while other simply sighed and shook their heads before leaving. Such a strange child.....
White and pink butterfly wings flicked away the water clinging to them as violet eyes watched the others leave.
Childish? Strange?
What was wrong with that? ............. One had even said he needed to be....mature? Riyaz cocked his head, pondering the word in his mind. Did they mean mature like when the Adults flirted with each other? He had seen one of the adults do something weird while he walked around in front of a lady one time. Maybe that's what they wanted him to do!
Bouncing out of the water and standing up straight, little Riyaz inhaled and puffed out his chest as far as it would go. Letting his legs go stiff, he attempted to start walking in the way the other had done that one time...
Only to trip and fall face forward into the damp grass and dirt with a light thud.

If the group of Soquili had a problem with the foal's behavior, it would have been amusing to have their opinions on the way Dreyden acted. Anyway... {{Couldn't resist. ^^;;}}
He blinked, head swiveling to stare down at the ground. Initially, the group of older Soquili moving about through the grass below was what had finally caught his wandering attention. But now, it was the orange and pink splotch of a foal that he shifted his attention to. Continuing to circle like some overlarge bird of prey, Dreyden watched as the foal started doing something rather peculiar. It looked like he was...strutting. Or at least trying to. He wasn't able to guess much more then that before the foal promptly lost his balance and fell over. Dreyden couldn't help but laugh at the whole scene, letting himself circle closer to the ground.
When he was within earshot of the fallen colt, he called out. "You're doin' it wrong!" Dreyden called out with another laugh, eyeing the butterfly winged foal with amusement, a grin that looked remarkably like his father's set upon his lips.

Just as he stood up and shook out the dirt clinging to his fur, ready to try that strange walk again, the sudden voice caused the young colt to squawk and slip again. This time though, his rump hit the ground which left him in an akward sitting position.
Twisting his head left and right almost comicly, Riyaz tried to identify where the voice had come from before glancing upwards as a shadow flew by.
It wasn't a birdy, it was too big to be a birdy. It was....A Soquili?!
He gaped and stared (he's still sitting on his bottom) like a idiot but with great awe as well. his own wings couldn't support his weight yet, so the thought of flying was beyond reach at the moment. He just continued to stare at the older male, not even caring when his words went through one ear and out the other.

Dreyden blinked and tilted an ear back slightly as he was stared at. At the very least he would have expected some sort of response. The little colt must be struck speechless by Dreyden's looks.
Folding his wings in a bit tighter, the stallion curved in an easy arc towards the ground, running as he landed, the belts on his back legs jingling slightly as his hooves met earth. Trotting a bit to compensate for his momentum, he turned and made his ways next to the young foal, who was sitting in a rather ungainly position. His head cocked to the side, studying the butterfly winged foal with amusement. Dreyden didn't speak again, figuring that his words would be heard just as much as what he had said not moments before. In one ear and out the other.

Riyaz quickly snapped back to reality; stumbling to onto his feet (and almost tripping again), the young colt blinked at the older Soquili before his trademark grin spread across his face.
"Hiya Mister! Imma Riyaz!"
The dreamcatcher fell away from his neck as he cocked his head at the other. Why was he here? Most of the adults only really payed enough enough attention to either shoo away Riyaz or lecture him about something he had done...or something he didn't remember doing, but had done.
"Did I do somethin' to ya, Mister?"

Giving a snort of laughter as the foal bounced back to his feet, Dreyden tilted an ear back in amusement. So full of energy. Dreyden could relate. "Heyla Riyaz." He greeted back, tilting his one head in almost a mimic of the other colt.
"Done something to me?" Dreyden paused briefly like he was really thinking about it before shrugging and shaking his head. "Nah. I just met 'ya after all." The stallion paused again, eyeing the other once more. "But you can not call me 'mister'. I'm not that old. M'name's Dreyden. Call me that instead."

Riyaz nodded rapidly for a few seconds before stepping back to get a better look at the adult. A Wind? Riyaz pondered back to when he was with his Auntie.....yesh, she called them Winds!
"Drey-ray! I saw you fly when I tripp-ed!" The young colt motioned towards Dreydans' scarlet wings. "How is it that yous can fly and I can't" He gave the full, bottom-lip pout as his frail wings fluttered slightly against his sides.
Then the words that had slipped through his mind before came rushing back. Perking up, Riyaz's ears perked forward to display his curiousity. "You were shouting something....um...."Yer not doin' it right?" The bouncy Soquili blinked up at Drey. "What did ya mean?"

"Why can I fly and you can't?" Raising a brow, he turned his head and stretched one scarlet wing outwards, studying it before glancing back to the colt. "Maybe 'cause I'm older then you?" He pondered before grinning. "Don't worry. Keep practicing and you'll be able to fly just as well. Maybe even better." He grinned and lowered his head so he was more eye to eye with the colt, his wing folding back against his side comfortably.
"Ah? Oh yes. That walking movement earlier. You were doin' that wrong." Dreyden confirmed with a nod of his head, chuckling.
