About Taelence______________________ Taelence pushed the door to the shop open.
"No one," she muttered. Darn, she was bored. And an empty shop held no interest to her. But maybe if she stuck around long enough, someone might stop by.
She walked to the counter and jumped up where she promptly sat down and started to groom herself. She looked around and hmphed. She hated boredom.

Ima walked lazily into the shop. She had figured it was going to be a very boring day. When she walked in she didnt notice anyone at first but then she saw Teal on the counter grooming herself. She had met Teal before through her sister Amber but didn't socialize with her much. Ima figured she should go over and say hello since there really wasnt anyhting else to do and no one else around.
She walked up to the counter and sat right in front of it. "Hello Teal."

The tiny voice startled Taelence out of her grooming. She looked down to find a black and pink kit staring up at her. She cocked her head curiously.
I know this kit, she thought. Halima, that's whom this is. Amber's taken her under her 'wing' as it were. What's she doing here?
She nodded at the kit.
"Hello to you too Halima," she said politely. "What are you doing here?? Where's Amber? I don't usually see you two without each other lately."

Ima didnt mean to startle Teal but she had apparently done so by accident.
"I have no idea where Sis is today for i can not seem to find her. Its very unusual and i thought she might have come in here to socialize while i was napping, but it seems she is not here." Ima looked at the floor for a bit with a disappointed face. She had missed her sister all day and now she couldnt seem to find her.

Taelence flicked her tail. Halima was right, Amber hadn't been around lately. Tael wasn't too worried but it obviously upset Halima.
"I'm sure she'll be around," she said comfortingly. "She can't be gone forever. I'm sure she's just busy with Izzy or something."

"Ya, your right." she said knowing that she was right in what she said. Ima didnt want to think of it too long or else she get depressed at not seeing her sister so she tried to pick up the conversation more. "So, it seems pretty dead in here today." As she said ths she looked around the shop which had no one else in it besides the two of them.

Taelence nodded and surveyed the shop herself.
"It is," she said, almost to herself. "Strange...there should definitely be more people here. I wonder where everyone is?"
She flicked her tail and peered into corners as if the others could somehow be hiding in the shadows.

Halima seemed to be in an unusually depressing mood this day. She had spent too much time away from her sister and others. She needed to get out more so that she could make more friends and be in a better mood.

Taelence jumped off the counter and walked over to Halima. She put a comforting paw on the kit's shoulder.
"Why don't we head down to the park across the street and play tag? Anything's better than staying here all cooped up,"
Even though Tael didn't know the kit very well, she couldn't leave her alone and moping like she was.

Ima nodded at Teal "Ya, i guess we could do that." She got up and faced the fox next to her. She tried to look like she was cheering up by putting a smile on her face, but inside she still felt horrible. She agreed to play since she thought that if she got her mind off of everything she might just actually cheer up.

Taelence patted Halima gently. She knew that the kit missed Amber. So did she. But maybe playing in the park would lighten her mood a bit.
So Taelence pushed open the door to the shop and guided the kit out and across the street. The park was a wide open space, with a grassy area to the right and a play set to the left.
The adult smiled at Halima and touched the top of her head.
"Tag! You're it!"

Ima followed Teal out of the shop without really looking as to where she was going. Before she knew it Teal had stopped, turned around, and then tapped her head saying that she was it.
She smiled a bit and raced after Teal. The fox had a bit of an advantage on her since she was an adult and Ima was only a kit, but that didnt stop Ima from trying to catch her. She bounced after the fox trying to catch her as best she could laughing a bit while doing so.

Taelence looked back as she raced away onto the playscape. She laughed exuberantly as she slowed down a little to let Halima catch her.
"Come on now Halima!" she called out. "Gonna have to be faster than that to catch me!!"

Halima stopped for a second as Tealence hoped onto the playscape. She realized she was actually having fun and it felt good. She still missed her sister, but she thought that if she made more friends then she wouldn't be so lonely. She tried to forget about those things again and focused on having fun.
"I'll get you!" she cried while laughing just before she jumped up onto the playscape after Teal.

Taelence grinned and dashed towards the slide. Halima seemed to be having a better time than she had and that was good.
Better for the kit to have other friends besides Amber.
As to Amber's disappearance, Tael didn't like it.
Izzy must be keeping her at home, she thought a little angrily.
Still she stuck her tongue out at Halima and raced down the slide, laughing all the while.
