((Note, our battlefield is already prechosen because we're testing it...)) WE BE RANDOMIZING (NOT REALLY) UP OUR FIELD NAO ;O
THE MINESHAFT FIELD
Flickering and dying lantern lights that hang from rusted chains creak slightly as a wind from above rushes through the various tunnels and dead-ends. Rotten wooden beams that hold the tunnels together crack and shift, sending clouds of dust, splinters, and other various debris onto the combatants. The only source of visual aide (other than the broken lanterns) is the light the filters into the “abandoned mine shaft” through the two entrances for the pokemon on either side of the stadium; unfortunately for those without night vision of sorts, darkness soon sets in as the entrance area gives away to the maze of underground tunnels.
Tracks, misshapen and destroyed by time and misuse, run through out the tunnels; several spots, the planks are rotten and give way to a shallow pitfall should they be stepped on. The tunnels themselves are cramped and small, making flying extremely difficult to almost impossible.
The battlefield is completely underground; the only thing visual on top is the two "mine entrances" so that the pokemon can go into the tunnels.
For the trainers: Like the canyon stadium, a special camera is set to follow your pokemon so they may hear any orders given, and so the trainers themselves can keep an eye on their pokemon. The microphone is set by the visual screen on the trainer platform.
SPECIAL CONDITION
Every five turns, the person who made the thread will roll two six sided dice. If even, the pokemon of the person who made the thread gets hit by a part of the field collapsing. If odd, the pokemon of the opponent gets hit. Players should keep track of the countdown.

Luna looked down into the mineshaft enterence and then up at the large screen that displayed her raichu attempting to catch the camera. She grinned. Another new battle field, huh?
"Chuuuuuuu!" The raichu complained, making another jump at the camera but failing. She tugged on her trainer's socks and pointed to the camera. "Nyuuu! Rai raiiiiiiiii!" ChuChu started flailing and growling at the camera.
"Aww, it's just a camera ChuChu!" Luna comforted as she waited for her opponent to appear on the screen as well.
(Rolling to see who goes first. Note that the trainers are above ground and NOT in the unstable mineshaft xD)

Lock looked at a booklet with a raised eyebrow. He open it and let the fold-in unfolded, which hit the floor. "....I hate system updates...." He mumbled under his breath.
He looked at the screen as it came on, watching Faraon sitting and just 'staring' at the entrance. "Well...at least the darkness would give you an advantange?"
Faraon just gave a light growl.

"In you go!" Luna said, picking up ChuChu and dropping her into the enterance, receiving much flailing and wails of horror from the pokemon. ChuChu really did not like the darkness much.
"Okay ChuChu! Aim for the enterance with a dynamic punch!" Luna commanded, nursing a bite wound on her finger she had recieved during ChuChu's struggle against her.
"...Chuuuuu..." The raichu looked around in the tunnel, very afraid. Carefully, she stepped forward. Nothing broke. The mouse pokemon set her sights towards the enterance and a certain cat pokemon that her big brother and Albireo had faced. Her target.
ChuChu silently ran forward towards the Persian on four legs. Right near the enterance, she jumped up on two legs and with a glowing right arm, aimed for Faraon's chest.
((Supereffective, so my attack is 50 HP stronger))

Faraon stay put, ears forward. One of them twitch towards the attacking raichu and he took one step back from the entrance, dodging the attack before leaping over, slipping into the mine shaft and into the darkness.
"Faraon, mud slap!"
The persian's eyes narrow and waited for the raichu to fall from her attack, attempting to hit her with a paw full of moist dirt.

"Chuuuuuuuu?!"
ChuChu was knocked backwards by the mud and fell right back into the tunnel, knocking her head pretty hard on a piece of broken wood. "...Chuuuuu..."
"Eep! ChuChu, you okay?" Luna shouted down the tunnel, while looking up at the screen.
"...Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaai...rai..chu!"
ChuChu jumped back onto her legs and let out a small growl.
"Good! Okay, use Iron tail!"
ChuChu sniffed around in the air for Faraon, but failed to identify him in all the different new smells. So she settled for the second best thing. She powered up her iron tail, creating some light from the glow of the tail. Spotting a blob that looked like Faraon, she lunged at him with her tail.

Faraon hissed and backed away after the hit, his ears lower as he moved further away. He dimmed rubbed his head against the ground until his jewel was completely cover, the glow of it trap under the layer of dirt.
Lock raised an eyebrow when the only thing that allowed him to know where Faraon was disappeared from screen. "Yay...the sneaky b*****d disappeared...." He sighed.
"Faraon, screech!"
The persian listen closely until he locked in Chuchu's general spot before lowering his ears against his skull and let out a loud screech in the rodent's direction. [Using Screech to lower your Def.] [Attack +50] [1000/1000]

ChuChu pressed her paws against her ears to zone out the screech attack, but failed. While she was occupied trying to save her eardrums, a section of the mineshaft began to rumble.
"ChuChu! Watch out!"
ChuChu barely heard the echo of her trainer's voice in time to jump away from the falling piece of ceiling. ChuChu panted hard. Someone was definately out to get her.
"Hey, okay in there?" Luna asked, staring at the dent in the ground on the surface where the mine had collapsed.
"Chuuu..."
"Good...thunder punch!"
ChuChu charged up her fist, making it glow again. It was going to be harder to find Faraon without his jewel shine, but if she kept hitting randomly, she would hit him eventually....right? ChuChu waved around her fist, illuminating the mineshaft to look for the cat figure. Spotting a tail, ChuChu launched for the object, whatever it was.

Lock looked at the screen and sighed, looking for any sign that his own pokemon had made it alright from the Mineshaft's collapse but saw nothing. Then he spied something in his screen, the illumination of Chuchu's attack. "...?"
That was Faraon's tail, but it was sprouting from a hole?
"He hid inside a hole?.....Faraon! Dig!"
The feline pokemon suddenly came out from the earth, hoping from right under the rodent pokemon to send her flying against the ceiling or the walls. [Attk +50] [supereffective, Attk + 50] [1000/1000]

"CHU??!!" ChuChu shouted from the surprise attack, slamming into a wall.
She fell back onto the cave floor, panting heavily.
Luna looked at her raichu nervously. ChuChu was really having a bad streak lately. Was it from her unbelief or her pokemon's? Or both. They really had to piece back their confidence.
"Dynamic punch!"
Now knowing the general location of Faraon, or so she thought, ChuChu ran back to the hole, her fist glowing WITH JUSTICE an dready to strike at any popping Persian. She jumped down the hole that Faraon had dug and punched out at any twitch of movement she spotted.

Faraon let out a yowl of surprise and pain when Chuchu actually landed a hit on him, sending him flying away from the raichu.
He got back up to his feet and hissed lightly.
"I think this is one of his luckier battles...." He rolled his eyes for a moment. "Faraon! Mud slap!"
The persian shiftly moved towards raichu, his whiskers tensing each time he felt the electricity charges from the rodent pokemon's fur.
He swiped another pawfull of mud towards the rodent. [Attack +50] [super effective +50] [800/1000] [-deep announcer voice- Get ready to ruuuuuuuumble! -is shot and bricked again-]
