The light won't turn on, so it's incredibly hard to text to do anything really.

Mine had a close meeting with tea some few years ago. Oh, it wasn't mine actually, it was my employer's wink

A couple of weeks ago me and a few friends were getting drunk. One of my mates had a pint of JD n coke and the other was on his mobile phone... He tossed his phone to the other - can't remember why - and it miraculously landed straight into the pint of Jack Daniels XD I don't think it even hit the sides of the glass...It just went in It was pretty funny...his phone is now ********.

Old/some new Nokia mobile phones are more durable than any other existing mobile phone ever. My very first Nokia got dropped on concrete, asphalt and various other hard objects. Sure it opened up and had a few cracks, but nothing else. My friend's old Nokia also went through a washing machine by accident and it survived. And my other friend's new Nokia dropped in the toilet, but after it dried, nothing was wrong with it.
My Nokia is splendid for music, texting and taking pictures, but when it had to download and install some update it went berserk and the screen just went on flashing between black and white and I could't do anything. I had to take it to be repaired... which took almost a month and I was stuck with a crappy old Nokia that wouldn't operate properly. D:

Yeah, my phone got dropped in a puddle and then was ran over but the only thing that broke was the inside lcd screen....and then I lost it.
But good news, I'm buying a new one, and new plan.

I've dropped mine a couple times, just put the battery cover back on and it still worked fine.

One of the hinges on my phone is a bit cracked, so occasionally it wants to fall apart.

@Dark Mana: I did have a Nokia phone, and I loved it so much that it got its fair share of sugar from my work.
