Since I graduated this week, I wanted to make a thread to all of the high school graduates here. Good job guys.
My road hasn't been an easy one so to sit here and say "Yeah, I graduated with honors" is a big deal for me.
So high school graduates, no matter how long ago you did indeed complete the trip, congrats.

Maybe I'm missing something, but I find the graduation season hysteria to be a bit much. It's not all that amazing of an achievement to warrant a grad party afterward for several hundred or even thousand bucks.

It was back in the spring of 2005 when I graduated. Not with honours either, I was a mediocre student. And I went to re-do a few final exams the following autumn to up my grades (the other one's grade went up by 3 marks and the other one stayed the same). I didn't go to party in the evening to see all the graduates drunk (boring), one of my good friends came over from far away so I just hung out with her ('cause I don't see her that often) and the following day we went to a camp. =o

I was supposed to graduate back in the y2k, but then I started sucking at school on purpose and it wasn't until '03 when I met freedom YAY for long hair!!
I know I know... I'm old

I graduated this year....would have been last year but I was never good at school when I was younger.....damn, I feel young.
and I'm not having a party, I hate parties where I'm the center of attention, which isd why I haven't had a birthday party in several years.

I shoulda been '07 but my parents found out I had a mild case of A.D.D. in 5th grade, so I stayed back a year.

07 for me. I'm like some here, I wasn't an AMAZING student I just graduated with a 2.0 because I really didn't care, now im in college and its completely different.
