Alright Savage Arts, I’ve noticed a rather depressing lack of energy in the guild forums of late, so I have an event for you all! Although I have been a member of Gaia for over two years, I have not collected much avatar art at all. However, I want some! So I am hosting a contest for all the wonderfully talented artists here in the guild^^
Since I myself am a slow artist, I am going to give this contest about two months to run. The deadline for entries will be midnight (EST) on August 15th.

What To Draw
Well, considering that this is an avatar contest, I want avatar art! You have
two avatars to chose from: Gaia or Menewsha
Gaia Avatar
Name: Ayaji (uh...well, I guess that's obvious)
Age: 21
Eyes: Golden
Hair: Silver
Story: Aya was drafted into Savage Arts by Clubanimon shortly after she joined the GaiaOnline community. She quickly rose in status among the guild members, although her actual duties, if any, are not clear to any one. She was one of the three given a crystal shard to be part of the powerful trio 'Clubjulaji.' She seems able to get away with a lot, including keeping a horde of bishounen in her room. Perhaps Boss doesn't bother her about it because of his own cat girl collection. She has also collected a few nicknames, including 'hoochi chipmonk.'
Other Information: For my Gaia Avatar I would prefer art of my avatar with her new hair style or the golden hair, but the traditional mouse ear style many of you associate with me is ok too.
Menewsha Avater
Name: Ayaji (again)
Age: 351 (she's an elf)
Eyes: Violet
Hair: Golden
Story: Although a relatively new member of Menewshan society, Aya has already carved a niche for herself in the roleplaying forum as well as among the thread-killing heroes and villains. Her hero alter-ego is a dancer who fights with a fan, and her special technique is the dance of the seven veils.
Other Information: You don't have to draw the hair quite as ridiculously long as the avatar shows... It should be at least waist length though.
Please don't think that you are limited to only these two. Feel free to add yourself or other Savage Arts members to the image, or your Menewsha avatar if you happen to be a member over there.
Any visual art form is ok, be it a comic, a sculpture, a painting, a drawing, or ect.
Multiple entries are awesome too^^

First Place - 100,000 gold
Second place - 50,000 gold
Third Place - August Thank You Letter or 25,000 gold
I like the idea of gold as a prize, since it lets the winner buy themselves something, or helps them save up for something.
I'll probably give everyone who enters something though, because I love getting art<3

I like Menewsha a lot because it is generally more literate than Gaia. The average age of the community seems to be higher, and the items there are really pretty too. I'm currently saving up to get myself some spiffy wings called 'winter's flight'

Look at who's in this guild. Rad, Club, Kazu, Rhies, Boss ...other people who belong to this guild whose art is awesome that I have not met...
I'm always willing to give you avatar art, but not to try to win something. I know who I'm up against, and they are all much more awesomer then Mizu ^^'
