Feel free to start your own role plays.
Through the hallway is a single door, and out of curiosity you decide to open it. You find another room, one with many doors, and next to every door is a window. You look through one window and you see various creatures and monsters, as well as the magic and weapons being used against them. You look through another window and see two gunslingers, dressed in trench coats fighting in a business office. You decide to look though one last window and you see a desert, as well as many mutated creatures roaming it, possibly from some sort of fallout or experiment. You step away from the window and wonder, what would happen should I step through a door?...
As it turns out, there aren't many people interested in this forum. This forum is a door. A locked door, and only a certain number of people have access to the keys. Thus, this door will probably remain ignored for some time until someone shows us a key.
As you can probably tell, this is the Role Play Forum. You can role play about anything as long as it follows ToS and EFP rules.
For now we encourage realistic role plays since they're easier to film, as our special effects crew is nonexistent. (It isn't required that all role plays are realistic, but that realistic themed RPs are encouraged, not required.)
These are just basic role play rules, if you've been in a role play already then feel free to skip reading the rules.
1] Be literate: no leet speak, use proper grammar, meaning capitalization and punctuation.
2] Use description in your posts: each post has to be descriptive so readers can understand whats going on.
3] You must attempts: if you do something that interacts with other role players, you must attempt.
In other words:
Instead of: "I stab the assassin in the chest with my sword."
It should be: "I attempt to stab the assassin in the chest with my sword."
4] You must react: if another role player is interacting with you, you must react to them, unless its conversation.
In other words:
Role player one "I attempt to stab the assassin in the chest with my sword."
Role player two "I avoid the attack by parrying with my twin daggers."
5] If you join a role play, you must abide by it's rules. If a GM has assigned moderators to his/her forum, you must listen to them.
6] To GMs, whenever you change rules for your role play, you must date the changes.
7] If you have any questions, you must ask a guild moderator.
