Body low to the ground, she watched the antelope, cautious of being upwind. It had taken time to track them down, but Savitri had finally found the great prey beasts. Not the desert antelope she'd been used to seeing in her youth, but it was food. The grass had felt odd under her paws at first, but now... Now she was growing used to it. Taking another tentative step, the white lioness moved towards her entended goal.

Stalking the same herd was a whole other sort of cat. Pausing to kneed the ground, Mkorogo grinned a bit wide. He glanced back, assured that nobody was sneaking up on him. The last thing he needed was the herd to get spooked. Coming up close, he prepared to attack... And then somewhere a twig snapped, sending the herd bolting.

Cringing, Savitri went running after. It didn't take long, though, for the antelope to outrun her. As she stopped, the lioness cursed loudly before turning to walk away. She stopped when a scent reached her nose, and she bristled. "Who's there? Show yourself!"

Sitting up, the leopard glared full and hard at the lioness. "I'm here, and you are a VERY shitty hunter!" Jumping on a log, he made it a point to give a scathing look. "What, did you JUST start hunting or something? You look where you step when you stalk a herd! Or did your mother teach you THAT badly?"

Fur bristling, the lioness charged forward with a roar. "YOU LEAVE MY MOTHER OUT OF THIS!" She'd just jumped on the log when the leopard jumped off. Growling, she started to chase him, but the other cat was too good at evasion to get caught. Finally, panting, she stopped, glaring at him. "Stay still!"

Climbing up into a tree, the leopard stretched, clearly mocking her with his ease at escape. "I don't think so." As he lay down, one leg dangling, he watched her. "Wow... You're a sad little lion... A shitty hunter, AND you can't catch a lil' ol' leopard. Can you do ANYTHING right?"

Letting out a growl, Savitri tried to climb the tree. But being a lion, this was hard to do. Finally dropping back to the ground, she gave the leopard a scathing look. "At least I don't get my jollies insulting others..." Tail flicking, she walked off.

Watching her go, Mkorogo couldn't help but smile. Now this was a lion worth his time... Without being her, of course... Jumping down, he followed after her. When he caught up to her, he offered only a smirk. "So do you even know where you're going, or what you're DOING?" He circled in front of her, stopping the lioness from proceeding.

Snarling loudly, Savitri got up in the leopard's face - Or down, depending on perspective. "I know perfectly well what I'm doing, and I don't need some stupid leopard to tell me I don't!" Pushing past him, she made a note to smack his face with her tail. Throwing a last glare, she walked away, refusing to give any more attention.

Oh, now he was amused! Trotting after the lioness, he opted to just follow her. Who knew, it might be good to have a big companion like that. Besides, he liked white. It reminded him of her. Tail curling, he glanced back, noticing for the first time a glint of gold in the sun, and an unusual white rabbit watching them. Letting out a snort, he turned and followed again.
