A whole bunch of people in a drome-themed guild swarmed me for avatar art. I complied.

The more of them I make, the more dissatisfied I get with the previous ones. Blarg. I still have a bunch more to do. How can I make doing them more exciting?

(I was gone from Gaia for like two years and now I am back, ILU Artfags.)

I'm not sure what to crit, since they personally tickle my fancy lots X) Drome egg guild huh??

My favorite is the first and 3rd one! So awesome. I like how you gave lighting to the scales on the feet and claws I'd like to see more of that! Noticed the last one didn't have them. The front of his face kinda reminds me of a mixture of a cow and a dolphin. x___x I think it's cause of the coloring of the snout thar.

My favorite is the first and 3rd one! So awesome. I like how you gave lighting to the scales on the feet and claws I'd like to see more of that! Noticed the last one didn't have them. The front of his face kinda reminds me of a mixture of a cow and a dolphin. x___x I think it's cause of the coloring of the snout thar.

Yeah, it got to the point where it was 4AM and I was like "... Maybe Drome Elder would look better with smooth skin. I need sleep."

I have a lot of plastic dinosaurs around and I figured I'd try doing a more difficult perspective; the shading was fun but with his head tilted downward you can't see his scary raptor teeth ... so yeah, I see where the cow/dolphin thing comes from.

Trying new perspective is always a plus, challenging and rewarding if handled down right. I definitely promote playing with perspective, it gives the artist a better handle at anatomy. I need to do more perspective. x____x
