The summer is finally here and Frosta feels blessed that she is already living in the mountains so she could flee from the merciless summer weather anytime she want to. The dark blue mare decided to take a chance and head down to the meadow to see if her adopted brother Shihab or his family is nearby. She have been wondering about how they are doing and she have a gift for her great niece Wica. The barn-owl colored hawk is fast asleep on Frosta's back, going with her for a ride.
Frosta grins at the hawk as she continues to stroll through the humid forest toward the meadow, humming soundlessly so she won't disturb the hawk's beauty sleep.

 She needed a break, a little time off from spending it all with her lover... Even if he denied to show it, she knew that he loved her too. Fore behind those cold emerald pools there was something there, love she knew, but also something else. Something he wasn't about to show her and she needed to know if there was a way to get her Axel to open up to her and not keep pushing her away. Wica wasn't sure who she could turn o other then her mother... Then again, she hadn't seen her great aunt for a while, in fact she didn't think she had ever met the Frosta she had heard about from her father and Cousin Izzie.
Wings stretched to her sides, the currents were doing most the work as she rode them, merely dipping a wing tip in order to turn, but that was about it. The weather was glorious and the currents were warm against her underbelly and wings. Turning once more her golden gaze like her father and grandfather glanced toward the ground wondering if she were getting closer to there her aunt lived. She hadn't any idea, making her wings work she broke from the currents and headed lower and into the clear to hopefully land carefully on the ground. Upon her descent, she had noticed a deep blue mare with something upon her back, she had to wonder if that was Frosta.
Taking a somewhat steeper drop she came to land in the grass, thankfully still standing, her wings fluttering at her sides a little before folding themselves. Turning her head toward the mare, her own white bangs falling into her face, the hair of her grandmother Adelle, she was told at least. Her equally pale tail flicking behind as she stepped closer to the mare, head tilting to one side a little, curious like a young bird she was.
"Frosta?" she asked when she had drawn closer to the blue mare with the strange little creature upon her back.

Frosta dipped her head down and nibbled on the grass while waiting for one of her adopted family relatives to come by for a visit but the sound of something flying overhead caused her to look up. A smile spreads on her face as she could see the family resemblance in the soaring female, she watches the female makes the graceful landing in front of her. The blue mare stood there silently with a gentle smile on her face, not wanting to startle her great niece or family relative then she makes soft whickering noises deep inside her throat, greeting Wica.
Frosta grins as Wica recognized her immediately then she nods gently to her great niece. "Yes, its me." She softly says as she moves closer to her great-niece with a grin on her face. "If the hawk is right.. your name is Wicapi yes?" She feels quite blessed that Shihab welcomed her and her family into his family and now they are connected by spirit and 'blood'. "I am Frosta, your great-aunt.. if you haven't known that already." She laughs as she could recall Isabella telling Frosta all about Wica when she was a foal, so she knows that Wica is very spirited and full of the life which is very good thing.
"Look at you.. you have grown into a beautiful mare" Frosta's expression softens as she smiles at her. Shihab's family doesn't know that she occasionally sends her familiar out to check up on them or she will do that herself. So she did watch Wica progress through the foalhood to adulthood from the distance with a smile on her face. She feels very proud of Wica and her family but she wasn't aware that she have met a stallion that have stolen her heart.

Ears poised themselves atop her head as she watched the blue mare come closer to where she had stopped. Great Aunt? She had heard her grandfather speak something of a mare whom had taken him in as her brother, but Wica had always thought he was just telling her a story. Head tilting to one side, she had a questioning look on her face as the mare spoke of a hawk? She hadn‘t seen a hawk before what was she speaking of?
“Yep, I‘m Wica.” She smiled letting her wings shuffle a bit at her sides. “It‘s great to meet you Frosta. Grandpa Shihab has spoken a lot about you. How you guys met and everything. And of how he met the human.”
Wica giggled merrily as she thought of the tales her grandfather had told her. She also remembered her cousin, Izzie was it? Oh yes, it was Izzie. Though when she was little really, Izzie was ‘rounded‘ that was what she remembered most. Shaking her head Wica moved over closer to Frosta, only now catching sight of the hawk that slept on Frosta‘s back.
“So this the hawk?” she asked looked back at Frosta. “He looks so cute and haunting.” Wica soon giggled. “I hope Axel doesn‘t mind if he‘s around. Then again, Axel is very… Secluded.” She sighed a little down hearted. “I hope all stallions aren‘t that way…”
