 Haramu lounged about next to a small watering hole, there was a tree nearby, but in the hot sun, it offered little shade, and so in was pointless to walk to the other side of the the watering hole to sit under it.
So she lay, on the edge of the water, almost falling in, but maintaining her balance just enough so that she didn't fall in, not that she wouldn't mind of course.
The heat would merely dry her not long after anyway, and it would feel nice, a change from the sweat that was causing her fur to dampen in small area's by her paws.

Dratted heat... it felt like Apollo was using Hephestus' hammer on his head, it was so hot. Why did it have to be swelteringly hot one day, and annoyingly rainy the next? Why couldn't it just be warm and sunny, with a cooling breeze? The day wouldn't even be that bad, if the air did more than just sit there...
Zeus muttered to himself as he plodded towards the only likely shade on the flat savannah, a tree that was little more than scrub. Eyes down and squinted to block the sun, he was unaware of a fellow traveler as he caught sight of the watering hole and went for a drink before seeking out the meager shade of the tree.
Crouching low on his orange paws, the large male bent his head to lap at the water, whincing when he found it luke warm. At least it was wet, which was what his throat and stomach really needed right now.

Hara yawned, and upon opening her eyes she saw another lion by the watering hole, and the shock of not having realized that someone had approached at all sent her over the edge, sending her into the watering hole with a rather large splash.
She flailed about in the water only momentarily before righting herself and paddling back onto the bank, feeling higly annoyed with the whole situation, but also rather relieved, as she was now much much cooler then she had previously been.

Zeus jerked up at the sound of a splash practically ontop of him, his ears pressed back as he blinked down at the water. When the source of the noise turned out to be female, and pretty at that, a smooth smile slid onto his face. Padding over to that side of the watering hole, he lowered his head to watch her paddle to the side of the pool.
"My, my, my... It looks as though I've stumbled acrossed the pool of a lovely Nyad! The Fates smile on this poor, humble traveler to gift him with such a sight." He chuckled as he slowly sat back, not wanting to appear threatening to the poor, soaked girl. "Can I ask what your name is, oh beautiful one? Or is it something mortals can not hope to pronounce with their lowly, earthen tongues?"
He was a shameless flirt, laying on compliments thickly. They rolled easily off his tongue, as natural as breathing to the Rogue.
"I, my lady, am Zeus. Wanderer, Rogue, and general miscreant." He said jokingly, his smile warm.

Hara stared at Zeus as she clambered unto the dry land again, settling down to dry off, she began to laugh at his extremely thick flirting style, she had to admit he was good with words, but then again, she wasn't one to take such obvious flirting seriously.
In an attempt to cover up laughing at him, she put a paw over her face, and her laughter became a silent one, her chest heaving with the effort.
moments later she was finally able to get herself to stop the laughter, and sit straight once more.
"My name is Haramu Pendu, though you might call me Hara if you really would like to... Zeus."

"Ah, a fitting name for one so lovely." He chuckled as he bowed his head low in greeting, the guesture regal. He carried an air of nobility around him, but as far as he knew, his family was nothing more than a line of rogues as far back as anyone could remember.
"Hara. Mmm, it rolls so nicely off the tongue. Tell me, what brings you out here at this ungodly time of day, my dear? Or are you really the Nyad I took you to be at first glance?" The sun beat down on the very dry male, a bothersome weight since he didn't have the cooling dunk in the pool to cool him as Haramu did. Stretching his paws out before him, he sank down to lay on his stomach beside her, reclining in a way that showed off his form well and put him just a little closer to where she sat.
She had looked good when she laughed... very good, in fact. If it were up to him, she would laugh all the time and it would be his purpose in life to make her laugh. These last few days had been sorely lacking in laughter and decidedly lonely.

Hara grinned again this lion was highly amusing in the way that he spoke to her, and she assumed that this was also the way he spoke to many lionesses.
"I was just out here lounging about by this pond after a nice hunt. And why might you be out in this heat?"
Hara studied Zeus as he lay before her, trying to figure out what game he was playing, she was slightly suspicious of him, but he amused her so she figured he couldn't be all that bad.
As she studied him she realized he must be much hotter then herself, seeing as how she had just gotten drenched after falling into the water. A smirk came to play on her face as an idea began to form in her mind.

Zeus chuckled as he nodded, rolling his heavy shoulders at her question.
"Looking for a cool place to rest, actually. That little bit of a tree is all the shade for a mile or more... Though, it looks a whole lot better with you beside it." He said as he grinned, his tail giving a light flick and thump against the ground. "I think I prefer it than another, cooler place, that lacks such lovely company."
She seemed to find him amusing, which wasn't exactly a bad thing. It was better than being distrustful or openly disliking him, and a lot closer to where he wanted it to be than a few other emotions.
"Are you alone, Haramu? It seems a down right sin for you to not have a companion of some sort... someone to delight in your lovely form and lovelier personality Its entirely wasted on this empty, lonely place."

Hara stretched slowly, allowing Zeus to get his fill, before shaking herself out and wandering up to him, and just past him, closer again to the water's edge.
"A sin? Well being alone isn't a sin I shouldn't think. However, yes I am alone, without a companion or family to restrict where I go."
She tossed her head to look at him, smiling at him. "Why, you seem to be alone yourself Zeus, and why ever is that? Are you just not the kind of guy to be tied down? Or are you still..." She paused, grinning," Looking for 'the one'" She began to laugh, for someone such a Zeus looking for a tied down mate just seemed to be funny to her.

The male leaned forward as she came closer and passed on, stretching his head out a little. They didn't quite touch, but he enjoyed the closeness and the tease of it as she sat by the water.
"If not a sin, then a shame." He said as he smiled at her. "A shame that there is no one to delight in you as you should be." A chuckle rolled from him as he shook his head gently.
"As for me... I'm too much of a Rogue, I fear. Even should some lovely wish to stay with me, I'm afraid I would disappoint her before too long and she would leave me in disgust." A smile curled on his features, a rather ironic expression. "I'll admit, I'm not one to really stay in one place or with one lovely creature. I'm just too irrisponsible. I suppose if there is a 'one' for me... she is a saint among lionesses and a hard taske master, to put up with me and keep me in line." That was a funny idea... what woman would willingly put up with him for longer than a night of pleasure? He was a vagabond and if he were truthful... he wouldn't wish himself on any poor female on a permanent basis.

Hara flicked her tail particularly close to Zeus, but acted as if she didn't notice where she had decided to place her tail. His words lingered in her mind as she considered them with care, almost as if trying to decide something.
"Ahh. Being so... free must have its limits on you though, must it not? I can only imagine some of the ladies you've been with have been overly pleased with being left the next sun rise."
Hara flicked her tail again, the ends of it gently flicking the males leg.
"Some ladies don't understand the idea of a good time, I suppose is what I'm saying."

The flink of a long, slender tail was distracting to the large male. His orange eyes followed it as he listed to her, getting the distinct impression that maybe... this female was flirting back. A novel idea, leaving rather unsure what to make of it.
"If it has its limits, I havn't noticed them, or they just havn't bothered me." He chuckled as he felt her tail brush his leg, lifting a paw to swipe playfully at it. "You are right though... they are often displeased with me when I feel the need to move on."
Her last words made his eyes rise, a slow smile spreading over his face. "Mmm... and you do, I take it?" Zeus gently teased her.

Haramu smiled slyly, brushing her tail gently across his face as she slowly sauntered ever closer to the water's edge.
"Well. I suppose you could say that." She grinned at him flicking her tail back and forth on the ground, and then gracefully sweeping it across the top of the water, causing the water to ripple.
"Do you think I know the meaning of a good time Zeus?" She smiled slyly again, almost bashfully.

Now, this was quite a treat, the male thought as her tail brushed his face. He snapped at it with powerful jaws, though the action was well controled and gentle, letting it slip free when she pulled at it. He did little more than brush it with his fangs, really.
Orange eyes watched Haramu with an avid interest as the large male came to a decision right there and rose to pace after her. Her flirting was an open invitation, as far as he was concerned, and all the consent he needed to begin his pursuit in earnest. She really was a lovely little thing and she'd make a proud addition to his list of conquests.
There was no doubt in his mind, either, that she -would- be added to that list. With time.
"That would depend, my lovely Nyad, whether or not you'd been shown one in the past. A lady as beautiful and elegant as you deserves only the best and I doubt the oafs around here know how to give it to you." He said, his voice a base rumble in his broad chest.

Shifting her weight, to lean more into him, she smiled and flicked her tail across his front paws.
"Well Zeus, you are right, no one around these lands really seems to know how to show a girl a good time."
Hara brushed her tail across his side, nodding her head to him in a flirting way.
"The real question though... do you yourself know how to show a girl a good time?" She grinned at him, continuing to brush his side lightly with the end of her tail
