Welcome.
Have you tried using critique and/or tutorials to help you improve your art, but you still haven't been getting the results you wanted? Need some extra help? With our tutoring (adopt-an-artist) program here at the Art Institute of Gaia, an artist (of any kind) is paired with a skilled tutor - based upon that artists needs - that will work with the artist to help the artist improve his/her work.
Tutors can apply in [Applications] Tutors sticky. All applicants will be reviewed and accepted/declined. Students can apply for a tutor in the [Applications] Students sticky. Upon signing up for a tutor, students can request a tutor; if a tutor is not requested, students will be assigned one that we think will be able to help them improve their work the most.
Once a tutor has been accepted, he/she may make a thread in this subforum with his/her application so that it may be viewed by students in search of a tutor, so that they can discuss things with each other before the student picks a tutor. Threads can also be created in this subforum for a tutor and student to work on the students art skills.
Subforum Rules:
o1. Follow Gaia's Terms of Service.
o2. Do not post in this thread.
o3. Do not post topics in this forum unless they follow the criteria listed in the section above.
o4. I know we are here to get better at our art, and that might include writing, but that does not give you the excuse to use chatspeak.
o5. A student/tutor must give permission to the student/tutor before the student/tutor uses any work that they have created together publicly.
