Name- Tanaka Arie
Background- Arie was born in a small village and raised by her parents along with three sisters and two brothers. Her family didn't have much money, so Arie and her siblings all worked very hard for their family. As a result, Arie is not a stranger to helping lighten the load when it comes to getting a job done - and she'll do so happily. She is quite the free spirit and usually always smiling and making as many friends as she can with her upbeat attitude and unusual way of thinking. She may be a bit too energetic and excitable, usually acting without giving much thought to consequences, but whatever she does, you can be sure that it is well-intentioned. When she was at the age to start attending junior high her family moved to the city to try and make a better living. Along with one of her sisters, Nanori, and one of her brothers, Takeda, she is now attending Inu-nabe Junior High with high-hopes for meeting many new friends.
Physical Description- Arie has light brown hair kept in pigtails and a ponytail (basically three pigtails, with the third on the back of her head) and bright, usually shining, blue eyes behind a pair of silver glasses. She is always smiling, and usually wearing her school uniform as she is quite excited to be going to school for teh first time in her life.
Element- Lightning (inazuma)
Pet- Arie's pet is a white ferret named Enerugi. He has a yellow ring of fur around his neck and another around his tail.
Weapon- A light blue metallic staff with a yellow and silver blade at the top end (kind of like Shizuru's weapon in Mai HiME, I just can't place what it's called at the moment...) and a long yellow and blue streamer at the bottom end.
Mahou Uniform- Her uniform is the standard school uniform, except that the skirt is dark yellow. Her shirt has a tint of blue, and the collar is yellow with blue stripes. Both have small silver patterns along the edges. A long, yellow and blue ribbon replaces the red bow and moves to the back of her neck, mimicking the streamer on her weapon. Her hair is no longer brown, but yellow (and shiny) and the pigtails are gone. Instead, her hair stands straight back, with the exception of a few zigzagged bangs. Her glasses are yellow, with small lightning shaped metal pieces on the sides.
Transformation Sequence- Enerugi runs up her back and leaps off her shoulder. As he is flying through the air, he begins to glow in light, then lengthens into her weapon. Arie then jumps up and grabs the new weapon. As she is falling, her hair comes out of the pigtails and turns yellow, directing itself backwards and leaving three, lightning-shaped bangs. Her uniform flashes and changes color, while light etches small silvery designs along the edge of her skirt and shirt. The red ribbon changes color, grows, then moves to the back of her neck, waving as if in a gust of wind behind her. She finally lands and looks up while her glasses change.

Name: Tsuyo-san Kiyoshia ("Morning Dew", "Quiet Child")
Background: A timid book worm who prefers to read and od her homework rather than participate in her P.E. class. Despite this fact she secretly wants to be a dancer, but is too shy to dance professionally in front of others. She practices at home when she is asked to watch her two year-old brother when her parents are gone at work.
From the amount of time she has had to watch her brother she has become quite good at it. Minus the details of structure and poise. Her parents travel around a lot because of their occupations so they have moved from one city to the next. This is the reason for Tsuyo's seclusive life-style. Her other favorite past-time is sitting by lakes, rivers, and streams to listen to the sounds of the running waters, and to be able to think or clear her mind.
She is very protective of her little brother, because she feels that it's her job as his older sister to keep him safe and happy. She has few friends , normally they are teachers, some stiudents tend to think her too much of a nerd and a recluse to really want to get to know her.
She has just moved to this new school and figures the this time won't be any different.
Physical Description:Short black hair, small rectangle reading glasses that she sets on the end of her nose when she isn't reading and studying. Her dark hazel eyes make her slightly freckled face look very young and cute, and when she acts shy, some people (teachers, and Keitaros) can't help but find her adorable. She stands about 5' 3" in her ninensei (8th grade) school girl uniform.
Element: Water (Mizu)
Pet:Chibi fox demon, named Kotakamo. It's fur color is a dark blue, where as it's ear, under belly, sock, and tip of it's tail fur are all a light blue. He also has little Black demonic wings on his back that he had to flap like a hummingbird to stay airbourne. Kotakamo can transform into a much bigger fox, the size of a normal fox, with silver fangs and claws, it is a very smart fox, from all the years it has spent with Tsuyo studing and moving from place to place. 'Kota', as Tsuyo likes to call him for short, has been her best friend since she can remember. Kota is a water demon, who was born out of the mighty rivers of Japan, but his home was becoming polluted, therefore he decided to leave, finding Tsuyo when she was very young sitting by the river's bank.
Weapon: Ironically it is a book that contains tear out water spells, Spirits, attacks, and weapons. This book to anyone else looks like a notebook full of homework assignments and doodles, but to Tsuyo it is a 800 page book with endless magic and possibilities. Unfortunatly she has only been able to successfully use, and understand a few of them. Tsuyo can only call upon one Spirit and one weapon/attack at a time, any more than that and it would probably kill her from the amount of energy that is pulled from her.
-Spell Attacks/ Weapons-
Ultra Hydroblast- She tears out the page and says the word in her mind to activate the spell. It then turns into s giant bazooka cannon ((Like the one off of Conker's Bad Fur Day)) on Tsuyo's shoulder. Fires a large blast before dissapearing back into the book. She can calll on this one as many times as she wants during battle. It only goes back into the book to reload.
Claws of the Water Dragon(Ryu)- tears out the page, says the word in her mind to activate the weapon. The paper slams into Tsuyo, but does not hurt her, and forces the Water dragon Spirit out, which stands behind her like an out of body soul. It mimics her every move. Tsuyo's hits are amplified to that of the dragon Spirits.
Steamers- A piece of stronge wood with streamers composed of very hot steaming water. She can use this like a whip to cause damage.
-Spirits-(They all have a ghostly appearance to them. If they are defeated they only go back into the book to be summoned at a later time.)
Amaya Ryu- "NIght Rain Dragon" She tears out the page whispering it's name. Whether inside a building or outside, Black storm clouds gather, lightning strikes and Amaya Ryu appears. This has the ability to calm the soul and heal the physical body. Only those who know the dragon spirit can see her and how she appears. The one being healed or just present, or can see her, will hear the sounds of every gentle rain, which calms their soul. If they are the main target they are healed and feel at peace. Not unless they have other problems and worries the 'feeling at peace' won't last for a long time.
Kawazu Kame- A giant semi-armored (Turtle part) frog, the size of a small car that can she can summon to catch her enemies. Kawazu Kame may be slow, but he makes up for it in his ability. Tsuyo says his name and a large spiritual pond appears under her, then a few bubbles raise to the surface before Kawazu Kame explodes from the spiritual pond and stands before her. He may attack in the same turn. (Maki= wrap, bind up.) Kawazu Kame binds or consumes Tsuyo's enemies, and sometimes later releases them or swallows them up as a tasty meal. (Mmmmm....) It all depends on what Tsuyo commands.
Shibo- A group of different sized Sea Sponges, that are summoned to clean up a mess. They put the '409 Bubble Scrubbers' to shame. Some of the Sea Sponge look like Corral, or cacti, some even have a octopus-like form, but they are all still sponge. They can clean up from fluids to soilds and anything in between. (Size knows no limits with these little guys) within a minute or two, depending on the size of the mess.
Example: You had a party the night before, you wake up to a phone call from your parents saying they will be home in five minutes. You start to crap your pants, but 'Prairie Dog' it when you remember you have the Shibo spirits to clean things up.
((Edited))Mahou Uniform: To transform into her Mahou uniform; she pulls the lace headband from her hair, which in-turn glows a bright silver color. Streams of water start to circulate and rise around her, her body starts to spin in the opposite direction. More and more of these streams of water begin to appear from the ground, then they start to wrap around her changing her clothes into a long silver gown with light blue trim that is covered by a thin see-through light blue cloak, that stitches itself to the dress. Golden braclettes(sp?) appear on her wrists, ballet shoes appear on her feet. She stops spinning, and her weapon appears in her hand, ready to be used.
Transformation Sequence: Tsuyo calls out Kota's name, he then glows a bright yellow/gold color, then flies into orbit around Tsuyo, concealing her behind golden streams of light. The golden light (Kota) gradually turns into a mass of gold and blue ribbons surrounding Tsuyo. The ribbons around Tsuyo explode away from her and she stands in her Mahou uniform a blue foxtail and ears as well.

* Tsuyo watches her little brother all the time, whenever her parents aren't home.
Anything Else You Want to Put: Tsuyo's parents wanted her to try out for a sport, and she happened to do the best in Volleyball. She wanted to take a dance class, but they did not offer one. She doesn't try too hard when it comes to sports because she doesn't like them, but she doesn't want to fail, so she does her best.
((Edited))A white sailors outfitt, with light blue trim, and a dark blue skirt that reaches just above her knees. She wears a dark blue lace headband with light blue trim. It ties in the back and hangs down, sometimes coming over her shoulder. She wears this NOT ONLY to match her uniform, but so people can try and recognize that Water is her element. She also wears a pair of customized dance shoes, that lace up her calf, then hang down to about mid-calf. This is probabLy one of the most prominent things about her that people would remember her by. It is against school policy to wear such things, but the teachers don't say anything because she is such a good student. She also wears a badge ((Not a badger)) on her uniform that labels her as an 'Academic Scholar'.

Name: Nakayama Akiko (Aki for short-it has a reference to the autumn season) Background:Daughter of a single parent, Akiko balances her time between work, home, and music. Kind by nature, Aki hleps her father, Nakayama Eichi, by maintaining their quaint little city apartment while he works ungodly hours at his new corporate pharamacueticals internship. With a steaming coffee addiction, Aki has recently taken a job at "The Village" a local cybercafe as a barista. When she isn't working behind the counter, this ambitious young lady is playing her guitar and singing at the cafe's OPEN MIC night. Besides playing the guitar, which she has for the past seven years, she also performs in the schools orchestra, playing violin. Akiko views music as her outlet for expression. Whether it be about the lonely nights she stays awake waiting for her father or the loss of a parent just give this girl a guitar and out comes her passion. She's an extrovert by nature and can be a little overwhelming at times. She's an average student, who could spend more time studying rather than jamming out to music. Most of the time she carries an air of relaxation, but when it comes to performing her music she's very serious and focused. Her dedication to music has helped her become loyal to those she so cherishes as friends. Physical Description: Akiko is a mix of Japanese and Caucasian, but she has mostly Asian features especially in the eyes. She stands approximately 5'4" and is of a medium athletic build. She has auburn hair that is cut short and spiked/flipped out in the back with straight side-split bangs that extend just past her chin. Looks like this DA She has rich brown eyes with medium fair skin. When not in school, she is usually lounging around in a pair of cargos, layered shirt, and boots. Element: Wood (Ki) Pet: Akiko's pet is a hawk named Fuu. He has ambered colored feathers that fade into white at the tip of his wings. His eyes are a deep green. Mild tempered with an air of wisdom, Fuu guards his friend well. Weapon: Aki has a twin set of three-bladed katars. Spring loaded, the three blades are concealed as one until a spring mechanism is squeezed at the katars' handle which releases the two extra blades forming a W-shape. The blades each extend about 8 inches in length and are doubled edged. The handles are a creamy maple wood textured with finger grooves/grips. They are also inlaid with a swirled maple leaf and hawk feather motiff in gold. The blades are also etched with this design into the plain steel. Uniform: Akiko also wears the standard school uniform with some slight variations. The collar and skirt are black with white stripes as decoration along the edging of each. Akiko has opted to remove the bow tie and has let the front of her collar fall into a natural plain v-neck. Around her neck she wears a green orb the size of a small marble that is clasped in gold hawk talons. She also wears a leather arm guard with various metal buckles along her left arm, this allows Fuu to easily rest upon her arm. Transformation Sequence: You can hear a hawk call, and Fuu appears flying in a circle around Aki. Trailing behind him is a mix of tree leaves in a rich autumn color along with amber hawk feathers. This mix falls in a whirlwind with Aki standing in the center. The whirlwind blows her hair, brushing her usually straight bangs back towards her neck. Fuu continues to fly around her finally ending behind Aki where he then embraces her with his wings, as if to hug her, while she has her arms across her chest. A light is emitted from behind Fuu enveloping the scene in warm light. The light fades and reveals Akiko holder her twin katars in either hand. All that remains is hawk feathers and leaves which finally swirl one more time and then fall silently to the ground. Name: Kira Nightwater
Background:Daughter to the Nightwater name, Kira was known to be a 'black sheep'. Her parents tred desprately to enforce the family values onto her as a child, but as time grew this proved to be an unnerving task. At the age of 14, she was caught shoplifting at a local gas station. The family was outraged. She was exiled out of the family but her mother, Rayne, insisted there was still hope. She often buts a few thousand dollars in Kira's account to help her get by. Kira, however, wishes not to be helped by her. She was mysteriously enrolled into a high school she knew noting about, nor knew the existance to. Kira thinks it was her mother's doing, but the school seems different then all the others she has been to so she isnt complaining.
Physical Description: Kira has long silver hair that touches the small of her back when not braided. Stands at about 5'6 and weights about 125 pounds. She is very slender and due to her uprising, is a very fast runner. She is kind hearted but shows rebellion in almost every action she makes. She has just turned 16.
Element: Fire
Pet: Kaze the raven. She has red tint in all of her feathers
Weapon: Two fighting knives
Mahou Uniform: It's a standerd long dress uniform. It has a white with red top and a black with red bottom. She normally braids her hair into a solitary strand. She also wears a necklace of a deep red ruby.
Transformation Sequence: Kaze's eyes shine red and her feathers start to shimmer like fire. She flies into the air as the shimmer jetstreams off both wings. As Kaze desends back, she ignites on fire and her wings blast off their feathers, revealing blades. Then Kaze's body splts in two and flame forms the grip for the blades. Once the blades fall into Kira's hands, her body engulfs into a whirlwind of fire, burning the dress off and into form fitting clothes, in crimson red. Also, the fire leaves arm armor, very light but can withstand attacks

However, News reports show that Xaiver has been doing something secretive in a warehouse out of town, but are unsure of as to what. Kira also has 5 siblings, 2 of which died at birth. The three alive are Kraig, Kristen and Kitten. The two that died in birth were Homer and Kimberly. Kraig is 20, Kristen is 18 and Kitten is 12. None of which, save Rayne, talk to Kira anymore.

((All right, I'm startin' this thing up on Monday. I would do it this weekend, but it's going to be fairly busy. And my thumb hurts. So no gratuitious typing for me.
And James...if this turns out to be another James-y character, you are going to be out of this thing faster than you can blink. No offense, but I'm trying to get this lighthearted and fun. If you do anything to hinder that, I'll come down on you like a ton of bricks. This goes for ANYONE, as well.))

Today is the first day of the fall semester at Inu-nabe Middle School. All of the students are very excited, and you are no exception. As all of the students filter to their first classes, a wave of extreme paranoia flows over many of the students, especially those in Mrs. Otahime's PE Class, Mr. Kurasawa's Basic Guitar, and Mr. Kimura's Pre-Algabra. Several of those students shake off the feeling as nothing more than first-day-chills, but a few of them can't seem to get rid of the feeling. Strangely, those students are called into the Principal's office in short order. "Kira Nightwater-san, Nakayama Akiko-san, Tsuyo Kiyoshia-san, and Tanaka Arie-san, please come to the principal's office for an imporant announcement. I repeat..."

Kira smiled gently when she heard her name and Mrs. Otahime allowed her to leave the field. As she walked to the principals office, that feeling she had lingered in her head. She hadn't had a feeling like that since she was caught. She almost ran into an open door she was thinking so hard, but it closed before she could. When she arrived, in his office, it appeared she was the only one there. She asked if she could sit down while she waited for the others and he gave permission. She sat there whistling to herself with her eyes closed.

Arie looked around her class quetsioningly, as if waiting for another Tanaka Arie to stand and walk out. After a few moments, she finally decided that no such person exsisted, so she stood.
"Kimura-sensei, I need to go." She said as she walked towards the door, not waiting for a response.

I wonder who these other girls are? I wonder why they were called in like I was. Maybe we're randomly selected for something
She stopped whistling and smiled to herself at the thought of being special to someone, then whistled again.

Akiko was getting ready to tune her guitar when she heard her name called over the intercom. Surprised she laid her jade green guitar back in it's cloth case and stood to leave.
"Kurasawa Sensei, I'm going to the office" With a nod of approval from the teacher she exited her class but not without hearing the excited whispers of her fellow classmates.
As she made her way to the office she could already see one other girl sitting down. Aki didn't seem to know her but she looked cheerful nonetheless. Opening the door she smiled at the other girl and took a seat across from her. The office looked pretty empty besides the two of them.
