Cool! I wish there was a club for me to go to. At least i don't know of one in my area. I have always been interested in archery, and in video games and such archers were my favorite. But I started shooting when I enrolled in archery class, Beginners at my college. So ive been shooting only a year and for most of that year its been twice a week. Now i have a bow of my own and shoot it all the time in my back yard. I HAVE to go camping or something. Theres no LEGAL space in the city.

yeah, i agree. When you shoot something with a shotgun, its too easy to mar k your target. And bows just feel better.

I started archery 'cause I watched Inuyasha. xD; I was like..."..D8 I wanna tryyyyyy..." And then this flyer was passed out at school a few days later, and I BEGGED my parents to let me. I'm glad they did! Now me and my step-dad shoot together, and take classes together! I've only been to a few tournaments so far, but I did pretty good in the ones I went to. -Nods.- Nothing really big though. Just small ones that are either in my town, or close by at least.

Let's see, i started shooting about a month ago. I've always wanted to try it my whole life but the opportunity just never came up. Where i live there's no archery ranges or wide open spaces so there's no classes to take. When I go to college and found out that there is an archery club, i automatically signed up! xD I've been shooting ever since. Not only did i further develop my love for archery, but I met my fiancee through the club. I'm also the president of it now. So this club has done a lot for me.
Every tournament that's in California, I pretty much go to. There are some where i didnt feel like going, such as California State Games in Chula Vista or Cottonboll. But i love to travel with the team to Tulare for indoor or Sacramento for PAC Coast.
I love love my awesome Hoyt Nexus bow. So pretty. ^^

I've always wanted to learn, so when I found the archery club at my school, I had to join. Unfortunately, I'm extremely busy with other things, so I don't go as often as I should.
I use a 25# recurve bow, no clue what brand (the club bows are old and I don't have my own), and I really like it. I shot a horse bow (I think that's what they were called) once at a Renisance fair too. I haven't competed in any tournaments, I'm really not very good yet.
