Happier then ever, 'Kivuli was trotting in no particular way. He had been having the best past few days then he had ever had. He had recently met a rather interesting female named Kisura. With in a matter of days she stole his heart just like that. Though, it seemed he had also stolen hers. He didn't know if this was how love was then he couldn't get enough. He had a rather funny looking smirk upon his face as if nothing could ever got wrong. At least, right now nothing could.

The hyena was busily trotting about the plains, his depression seeping away like that. His tail was wagging faster than normal, eyes directly ahead with an almost scared expression. It wasn't fear that leached away at his eyes, it was excitement and happiness. Recently he had met a female, one who had almost the same appearance (in some colors..) and eyes. Even her personality matched up to the female he had had a crush on. Letladika, as he was named, was never prone to become this happy after only first meeting someone. He wondered, but slowly stopped wondering, trotting around the plains like a rabbit.

Kivuli quickly saw something brown moving. At first, he thought it was the earth. That was odd, how would the earth move? He stopped where he was and just looked in the direction of the other, and instead of just watching, he decided to go in that direction. It seemed like a good day to investigate. As he got closer, he realized in fact that it wasn't the earth, that it was another dog... Wild dog? No... Didn't look like one. He flicked is tail and started to run a bit to catch up.

Having been so overjoyed with his new friend, Letladika seemed to take no notice in the black dog that was running towards him. No notice at all. His furry brown tail flicked around, and he was about to catch him lunch, when he saw the black body of another. "Sauda?" He thought it was Sauda, because of the other's black pelt, though as he turned to look at the other, he caught glimpse of gray markings. That wasn't Sauda, or... Whatever it was. "H-hello?" He called, body almost quivering with slight fear.

'Kivuli stopped as he came closer, he could sense the other wasn't too happy with his presence, he didn't hear that he called him someone else's name. His tail flicked, or rather tried to wag, but didn't. 'Kivuli tilted his head. "Are... you a wild dog?" Of course the other wasn't, but it was nice to ask just to make sure what he was. Right? I mean, he hadn't seen all the wild dogs, perhaps some of them where different. His purple eyes blinked at the other. His gray body, with his darker gray-almost black markings. Then the light gray markings under his eyes made him rather unique. Though, his sister had pretty much the same set of markings.

Letladika blinked. A wild dog? What in the world in was a wild dog? Well whatever they were, he had not heard such things as these 'wild dogs'. Must be a new species. "No, I'm a hyena." He gave the other a casual look, examining the gray markings that were painted on his black body. Quite unique. This thing seemed unique in every detail of his body. He hadn't seen such a creature with markings like that. Well, Sauda counted. She had a marking like that on her shoulder. Her's was yellow, but they were seemingly close to comparison.

A Hyena? Well that'd explain why he looked different. he'd heard about them before, but never seen one. He smiled. "Well, I guess that's why you don't look like me." He said with almost a chuckle. "I'm Kucha'Kivuli" he said next. It was good to introduce yourself to others, so they knew you weren't a threat. "But you can call me Kucha, or Kivuli" He scanned over the male to get a better understanding of how hyena's were. Unlike Kivuli, Letladika's back was curved down. Strange.... He also had a mane that ran down his neck to his back... even more strange. Kivuli had a mane... sorta, not like this male at least.

Though Letladika was used to getting look at a lot, this one's eyes seemed to make him feel uncomfortable. That was strange for him, very strange. He sent a small glare in Kivuli's direction. Then, he sat down, breathing in the hot air, trying to relax. "Nice to meet you," Forcing a smile onto his brown face, he remembered his usual manners. Manners were supposed to be used around company. If it meant bad company, who knows how polite you should be to that kind of company. "I'm Letladika. Letla for short." Looking at the other with more friendliness, he decided to open his doors to this one. Just this time.

He sat down too, satisfied that he knew what hyena's were. At least he didn't go over and sniff his butt, right? He thought about it, but decided not to. He wasn't a wild dog after all. His tail thumped on the ground and he smiled at the other. "Nice to meet you Letla." It was odd, he felt the other wasn't comfortable, yet he was smiling at him like they could have been good friends. "Lovely day, isn't it?" he looked up at the afternoon skies.

"Indeed, it is a lovely day." He was trying to hide his suspicions about the other. Though, however much he knew this Wild Dog, the more he got taken aback by his answers. What was going wrong inside Letladika's mind? Who knows. Maybe a raging battle for all he knew? The hyena still had another certain somebody on his mind, so maybe that's what was causing him to act so strangely. Or, maybe his past misfortunes, which were quite dreadful to him. Well whatever, this was the time to be more friendly than he normally acted. He wanted to make friends with Kivuli.

Silence fell, and Kivuli didn't know what to say anymore. The other wasn't so much helping in the conversation at all. He flicked his tail and watched him for a moment, then went to watching the dirt. "So, where you headed?" He said trying to break the very uncomfortable silence. His mind was filled with someone, aswell, but for the moment he had to put her out of his mind to meet others. Though, it was harder done, then said.

Letladika wasn't fast with answering him. Some reason he was kind of dazing off. Sauda was the reason, she had invited him to her house, and he had forgotten that he was heading over there for some reason. "Oh, sorry for the daze." He smiled, "I'm heading over to a friend's house." Letladika looked up at the heating sun. "She invited me over there for some reason, I don't know what." His shackles rose in a shrug, still curious about what she might have invited him for. It sounded like a surprise.

Kivuli understood how the other must feel. He smiled and nodded. "Oh, well sounds like fun." He replied. He had no friends really. Just someone he liked, who liked him back. She was prettier then any flower, but that was not the point. "I am headed in practically no direction." Hoping to run into Kisura. It was hard to meet others when someone else lingered in the mind. Though, it was still nice to meet them. He wagged his tail and smiled. "Perhaps bring a gift of some sort to your friend? " He wasn't sure who his friend was, but maybe they'd like something. Food, a plant, or even just something as simple as a rock or leaf.

Kivuli had good ideas. He smiled again, his eyes brightening. "That'd be wonderful! I think she'd love a flower." Letladika wondered if Sauda did like flowers. She was very excited and playful when they first met, and seemed to accept anything, so maybe she'd like a flower? Letladika pondered on the idea, his face screwed up in thought. "I think I'll ty finding her a flower when I'm near her home, I've actually been near where she lives before, and there seemed to be many flowers blossoming around that area."

So it was a she? Was it the same type of friend that he and Kisura had? Nah, it was probably just a friendship. He didn't know he'd never tried to actually make friends with a female. The ones he had talked to were nice, but in packs and would be hard to visit with his roaming life. But when he settled down it wouldn't be too much to make a friend or two. "If I remember correctly, all females love flowers. Especially ones that match their eyes." He said. Not really sure if that was true, but it sounded nice at least.
