 Moonlight brilliant silver in color streamed down upon the Earth bathing everything in it's loving glow and lending to the world a sort of serene elegant look which appealed to the mares pale lilav eyes as she moved toward the lake planning on a cool drink of water.
While the night was quite lovely it was somewhat warm for her in that teepee she called home but being out side of it with the nights gentle embrace and cool touch she felt calm and relaxed, completely at peace.
When she did reach her destination she leaned down, the tip of her horn sending ripples across the silvery looking body of water, as she drank slowly enjoying the cool water entering her mouth and moving down her throat as she swallowed. Shivering in delight as the water cooled her further her wings fluttering upon her back with the cooling sensation the water brought to her.

The days had been rather muggy lately so the night with cool breezes and whispering songs were perfect for a lone winged mare. Stepping out she let the cool air tussle her strawberry mane playfully before she smiled with a soft expression. Moving freely she walked enjoying the black canvas that glittered with a thousand stars so high above.
As she moved onward her laughter though silent radiated from her soft eyes and expression. Even though Sora hadn't been around, she still wanted to enjoy herself in any case. So as she moved along her eyes fixated upon something beautiful. At first she pondered it an illusion, but later realized it was a mare that shone off like a wintry blessing. Such gorgeous colors that sent a chill up the winged's spine. She felt dwarfed in her own beauty just gazing upon the other in an envious overtone.
But Kairi wasn't one to shy away from things that made her feel like this, rather she embraced the fact there was something more out there she could be happy gazing upon. Stepping slowly with soft footfalls, she hoped the other would hear her approach and not spook like others she met.

She had indeed heard the hooves coming her way and looked up pale eyes staring while her horn caught the light as did the water spiraling down it's length a drop on the tip fell off landing on her head and trailing down her face caressing her jaw delicately before dripping from her chin to the Earth below.
Watching the female approaching she gave a soft and gentle smile her pale eyes friendly and reflecting nothing but a calm gentleness a soft nature.
It was when the mare was close enough that she needn't raise her voice that she spoke her voice soft and gentle, wispy. "Good evening." A simple greeting but her words seemed to carry upon the cool air of the star kissed evening like a gentle caress.

Kairi nearly blinked twice when the other spoke to her in soft hues and chimes as her coat shimmered along with the brilliant soaked moonlight. She herself had never thought herself pretty, but the winged mare was happy who she was. Sora was her best friend and of course he thought she was offering star fruit way back in another lifetime.
But that was then...
Smiling at the other she nodded with a dip of her head in response, "Good evening as well. Its so pretty out tonight isn't it?" she asked with genuine curiosity of the other as she stepped forward her ears swiveling of her interest. True she'd seen flutters before but this one carried a horn upon her forehead. She wasn't too big nor was she small in appearance as most flutters were usually. But she was radiant as the wintry tales Celendria would sing aloud to the herd. This mare was almost as if winter herself had breathed life without turning the land frigid and desolate. More so warm and receiving as her eyes met with Kairi's own gentle orbs.

"Indeed the evening is quite lovely and pleasant against ones body as it's not so hot." She spoke gently while nodding her head softly the beads in her hair chiming and knocking against each other with the motion.
Looking the winged Soquili over she smiled her wings were quite lovely and strong looking, like her mates, but whiter and more pure in color at their base.
The clothing was a bit funny looking but the color made the other mare look quite lovely.
"Are you enjoying the evening?" She asked softly even as she trailed off as she didn't have a name to put to this mare and to use when she spoke. She wasn't sure though how to ask for a name.

Kairi nodded to the other with a soft smile as her eyes twinkled, "Why yes of course. I really like it when the night is so cool and refreshing. Reminds me of the place in my dreams that Sora, Riku, and I used to live within. It was called destiny island." she mused letting her mind wander a little reminiscing of times when the three would spend time together simply being alive and happy.
"Oh my name is Kairi by the way. I'm not sure if I asked you yours or you've told me, in which if either of the two I do apologize in advance. My mind tends to flicker back to another time when I lived another lifetime." She felt the embarrassment sneak up on her and yet she was glad the other knew for some reason.
She mused quietly pushing the thoughts of her silliness behind her. Now what would they converse about she wondered. Such a pretty mare she would have loved to make a friend if the other allowed it.

"Destiny Island, it sounds lovely." The name alone made her think of pure things, things that were pretty and fresh and breath taking she could imagine all sorts of lovely things just thinking of such a name, whimsical things as well.
"That's perfectly alright I don't always remember to give my name as well. I'm Lady Requiem, as I don't think I've given it till now Kairi." She spoke testing the name out on her tongue. It sounded odd but also nice, it sort of rolled off the tongue.
Oh she would allow it, she wanted friends too but talking...she was shy but she was eager also.
"So, what do you like to do?" She couldn't really think of much else to ask.

"That's a beautiful name... sounds as pure as the night as it stretches in an open sea of stars or the fresh wintry snow." She was musing thinking of those two things, never knowing what snow was still she saw her first glimpse of the chilled powder falling from the skies. Such an odd sensation feeling the crispness soak into your fur as the wind blew softly swirling the white dancers around. Like ballerinas they could go on forever preforming that beautiful display only to fade and be reborn as their audience watched.
"Like to do? Hmm well there's many things actually, "she pondered thinking of her previous life sitting on the beach betwixt Sora ands Riku. Those days when it was those three had always been so much fun till things changed and friends were separated. "I love just seeing the world and all it has to offer here. The beach, the night sky, the grass as it sways in the world's breath... oh so many things." She looked at the other mare feeling quite happy to converse with poetry itself, "And you? What things do you like doing to make you happy?"

Snow was...a beautiful thing to see fall so pure and crisp and cold. but the purity of snow and how it made everything look soft and pwistful it was tranquil in her opinion and peaceful relaxing and so lovely. Then again this was her first spring and summer and she'd yet to see fall.
"Thank you, your name is lovely as well." She said nodding her haid and smiled. "I'm not sure what I think of when I hear your name but it is none the less lovely on the tongue."
Thinking over the others mare's words and what she herself liked to do she spoke softly. "I like to watch the snow fall and go for cooling drinks of water. I like to go for walks and enjoy the beauty of the night sky and all it's stars and the moon, especially the moon. I've yet to find the beach so I can't say I've seen that." She spoke gently while tilting her head a bit, wings fluttered and her tail flickered.
"I also like taking walks through the woods, though usually I'm trying to locate something and walks turn into my beign lost but there not too terrible." Though she did always get nervous because she had heard there was a skinwalker in the foods.

Kairi smiled at this mystical mare with a light undertone, "Well your name is of course more regal and more refined than mine is I'm sure. But a name is what makes us who we are no matter how simple or complex they sound." She mused to herself wondering if there were others in this land with fairly simple or complicated namesakes, the thoughts were endless as the cerulean blue sky.
Taking walks... such a lovely past time Kairi nodded to herself. She loved taking in fresh air on ground or air when her exploring got the best of her. Lately anything had interested her of a mystery in nature seeking her to set out and check out different things. She was a bit skittish with the new kalona living near the clearing for Cynder had truly made a mess of things injuring others and causing damage. There was word she was was with a male which meant more trouble sadly. All over a little...
Where was he anyway? She looked around her in a nonchalant fashion trying not to seem obvious. Then she spotted him, his little beady eyes trained on the elegant mare. The shining grace and element that was causing him to sneak toward her like a bad little creature. Clearing her throat she stamped a hoof then sighed, "Forgive me a moment Lady..." turning her head sharply she shook it with distaste. He was at it again and in plain sight.
"Stitch didn't you learn your lesson last time... or do I need to remind you of Cynder again?"
The blue ferret that was trained toward those shiny accents paused and froze at Kairi's words. Cynder was one thing he truly feared more then anything. Hanging his head miserably he responded seating himself, "No Kairi... Stitch umm no need umm told ... " She sniffled with a flick of his ear avoiding his theft he had planned. Someone always had to ruin things for him.

Her name by regal and by looks she had been refered to as such but she was simply a gentle and soft mare who would touch things with the barest of touch and would speak as softly as possible while still being heard. She was not regal in hermind in any manner she was simply herself.
"I should think a namewouldn't make a person what they are but rather our thoughts, and hearts, a soquili's opinions and whatelse is inside us. A name is simply a name that we are called." She spoke gently yet with a certain sureness to her words, she did believe the sincerely spoken words.
Couldn't if she had children name them some dark or horrible name, not that she ever would, and they turn out as she was in manner? Thus meaning a name did not make a soquili who they were?
These thoughts were dispelled from the forefront of her consious as she watched the other mare a light and serene smile in place, as was common to see upon her face.
Turning her attention to what had caught Kairi's attention pale eyes blinked and she leaned down close to inspect the ferret. "Is there something the matter?" She inquired softly with a slight tilting of her head.
"You know, I have a ferret as well." She spoke softly, a simple comment really that was rather off handed really, as she turned her attention to Kairi. "Didier is his name, he's likely somewhere not far away, he keeps his distance usually but is always near enough." Near enough that should she need him or something were to happen he would know and either get involved or see and go to get help.
