Each class has a profile, as you can see on the front page of the Thread.

So, if your race falls into the 'other' category of races, I suggest you put a description of the race in this thread.

I'll do mine.

Supported by black arts or other means to exist. Like the Undead, but have lost all skin. Skeletons do not breathe, sleep, or eat. Some can be very intelligent, despite appearances and a lack of a brain. Skeletons can replace missing or broken bones by taking another living human being's bone. Skeletons hate all things sacred or holy, and love the darkness. Most types of Skeletons show no emotion or feeling, and kill heartlessly.

Elf- Tall human in appearance. Not as brute force as a human, but is capable as such. Most weapons are enhanced with magic, and most elves have natural skill and sometimes even talent in magical arts. Basically a tall human that is smarter and doesn't need to rely on brute force. (It would take too much work for an elf to even compare to a human's ability or thought pattern of brute force.) Best at fighting from a vantage point just out of range of the hand-to-hand combat area. Good to have around for opponents that do too well in hand-to-hand or that stay out of hand-to-hand, like a ranged fighter. Morale code is based on past experiences, like humans, without the innate pleasure from viewing suffering and pain. (but the pleasure could be trained, thought, or just unnecessary.)

Mine would be:

Half Human/Half Fox - Critically known as "Fox Demons" for their sly characteristics - Being adept at magical arts, they can be quite deceptive; both in their appearance and alignment. With such, they can be as devious as to trick others with their powers. Their age dictates their power, which in turn makes them all the more menacing, as none openly tell their age, making it difficult to measure their true potential. Their deceptive nature often makes them difficult to handle; both as allies and as foes.

When I saw the "Other" category, I knew what I had to do.. XD Reposted here from the announcement for ease of reading and finding.

I guess I'll put it here too

Azure Knight- They are creation of gods as guardians (that have control over Azure Flames) for them but they had a corrupt, stitched together look to them, they were tossed away when they were no longer needed, so they wander this planet trying to find some purpose in this world.

Azure Knight

Quote:
Even in fiction where gods are prevalent, humans or often left alone, gods just intervening when they choose, like for a war amongst them (gods) being felt or fought on Earth. Or war gods starting human wars, or playing a part in human wars.

So a creature made by the gods is presumed more direct. Not all stories use fertility gods, so humans make humans still... It also means that a god hand made the being, instead of just manufactured them without paying attention to every little detail, and since his character was a guard of a god, it is most likely that the character spent time with the god, therefore closer than other beings 'created by gods'.

Lamia
User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.
Half woman and half serpent, these creatures are said to have sprung from one of Zeus's varied love interests. They are thought to be sorceresses, and although they cannot speak they whistle sweetly.
They are creatures who live in desert ruins. They sustain themselves by eating human flesh. To bring prey to them, they use a variety of abilities, including seduction, disguise, ventriloquism, illusions, mirages, mirror images and other such things, to lure, entice and confuse those who wander into their midst into dangerous situations. When they have secured their victim, they carve a feast out of them with curved daggers. Lamias do not wear any form of clothing or adornment. They seem devoted to chaos and destruction in their native habitats. They never venture more than 10 miles from their lairs. Lamias also have the ability to drain wisdom with their touch.

Wraith: The classic depiction of a wraith is identical to the image of a tall, humanoid figure shrouded in a black cloak, under which no face can be seen. They are said to be ghostly figures with long, sharp fingers. They feed on humans, their emotions and their own strength, without these they would cease to exist. They are apparitions of a living or once-living being, possibly as a portent of death. In European pagan beliefs, the wraith is seen as a spirit of vengeance. Wraiths are considered rare amongst the spirit realm, for they consist of pure revenge; yet not all wraiths will be truly vengeful, in that some are merely enraged to the extent of destroying anything they encounter.

i think dementors and wraiths are pretty different...Dementors are supposedly soulless creatures that suck out people's souls, whereas wraiths are apparitions of people, either living or dead, that may appear shortly before or after death. I could be wrong though >.< Dementors were probably inspired by wraiths anyway

@ Metalic: Wraith's have been around much longer than dementors. And yes Ghost is right. Although they do have their similarities, they are quite different. A wraith's feeding pattern doesn't necessarily dwell on happiness nor is it limited to emotions as a dementor's does though a wraith may have a preference towards it. I should add a bit more info to clarify.
