The Infirmary was busy. Well and truly busy. With the turmoil over the lost Empyreans and the bustle of caring for the wounded from that same trip, Aureus and Argentum had little time to themselves between skrying in the dreaming pool and assisting Euphrasia here.

With a huff, Aureus fell back into one of the benches in the aviary that was appended to the infirmary, "Tired... Oof!" He laughed as Argentum flopped on top of him, using the other as a cushion, "Not your personal couch, you know."

"No?" Argentum frowned and scooted off, laying back so that Aureus was now a pillow, "Better?"

"Yeah. What's next? Making sure that the intensive care patients are comfortable right?" He grinned and laced his fingers through his twin's hair.

"Mmhmm... but that's in a bit... We need a rest first." Argentum closed his eyes and smiled with enjoyment as Aureus ran his fingers through his hair. They'd been dismissed for the day with instructions for tomorrow and were taking the chance to simply stop and rest for a few before heading home.

As usual, the two were close, rather angelic in their mannerisms and totally absorbed in the quiet conversation they were currently having.

Aureus looked up when someone called out a greeting and grinned, returning the wave, "Hello! You're a new face, come to visit a friend?" He gestured to the infirmary with a sad smile.

Argentum blinked and turned his head to face the direction of the call and waved as well, "Greetings~" The diviner answered in a singsong tone, shifting so that his back was against the backrest of the bench but didn't change from his laying down position.

Argentum laughed softly, amused by his comment, "Zeros have the most important job in the city - learning. If you went about jobs without first understanding their roots, you'd be crippling the city. Do you think would be wise to let someone unfamiliar with science and alchemy to tend to the wounded?" Sitting up, he leaned against his twin with a smile, "For now you just need to learn and figure out your strengths."

"Mmhmm," Aureus nodded as the other spoke, "Once you ascend you'll have a whole new world open to you, full of opportunity... and dangers. So don't worry, you'll get your chance... ah, what is your name? We are Aureus and Argentum, resident nurses and diviners for the city." He half bowed with the introduction, a movement that was echoed by Argentum.

"Well met Mat." Aureus grinned, "What classes? You do know you can seek out tutoring from the teachers and Ones and Twos you know, right?" Patting the bench beside Argentum, the golden twin yawned slightly, "Have a seat, no need to stand around."

Argentum yawned when Aureus did and blinked the sleepiness from his eyes, "Anxious are we?"

They exchanged looks, private smiles playing across their features at some unheard but obviously shared sentiment. Reaching up, Argentum patted Aureus on the shoulder before turning to face Mat properly, "What a coincidence! We practice bardic ritual magic. A bit of both of those classes."

"Ah, a friend of yours ascended? That's a difficult thing." He smiled, expression full of sympathy as the phlegm silently wished the other luck in his studies. "We'd be... lost without one another." His smile softened as he wrapped arms around Argentum's shoulders and peered at Mat from behind the silvery Two.

"Would you like some help?" They said in unison, both smiling warmly.

Aureus laughed, the other's energy rubbing off on the tired Two, "We can teach you about both classes, yes. Bardic magic is using your voice and possibly an instrument as a way to augment your casting. It often empowers the spells in ways that normal methods of casting cannot."

Leaning forward, Argentum nodded, "This can only count for one class but, we can go over both classes. Then you'll get credit for both. What would you rather find out about first?"

Mat was nodding and just about to reply to the Echoes when another voice chimed in and he turned to see Ubel. "Heya!" he said, with a quick smile. "Haven't seen you in a while ... I don't mind if you join. D'you guys mind?" he asked, turning again to Aureus and Argentum.

Then he tilted head a little, confused by their explanation. "Wait, so you can tell me about both of them but it'll just count for one? Or both?" The wording had been a little weird and he wanted to make sure... just in case he needed to find someone else to tutor him for one of the two classes.

Ubel smiled warmly at Mathiaz and waved as well, stepping closer. He paused as Argentum approached him, shaking his head eagerly. "Oh, n-no, certainly not. I was just hoping to, possible, ah..."

He laughed sheepishly now, feeling a bit embarrassed and smiling very shyly at Aureus and Argentum. He was dazzled in their presence, he would admit, simply because they were so... so gorgeous, as Ones. "Rest assured, I'm perfectly fine, today. I was just hoping to also join in on what the two of you would be teaching... I came to sketch, and overheard you talking..." he murmured, coming closer and moving to Mathiaz, touching the other's arm lightly.
