The Name

Welcome to Camp Louvewings, a camp for teens in need of serious recuperation and healing.

The History and Goal

Starting out once as a charity project hosted by Ms. Maria Anderson, she helped to make the camp finally grow enough funds, activities, trained staff, and enough care into this camp to officially open it for more than just a day. This is the first year that it is ever going to be a summer-long camp, and after reviewing each and every application sent it, they do their best to leave no one behind and out of the program. The ages are to range from 13 to as old as 21, but will occasionally bend the rules according to any special cases. Again, this is the first year it’s in business, but that doesn't mean that they don’t know their stuff. With highly trained staff and plenty of games planned, this is sure to be a trip that the members will never forget!

The Rules
Ok, we know the basic rules, so let's get this part over with!

1) No godmodding, if even possible in this kind of RP. xd
2) You are to send the profile to me, DO NOT post it in this forum. Title it "Wow; look at the lake!"
3) Swearing sometimes is ok, let's just not go out like a sailor, people!
4) I am in charge of this thread. I'm usually pretty laid back (as some of you know), and I usually pretty nice. Feel free to ask me questions if your confused about something, and I'll do my best to help! smile But don't argue back to me and the like of rudeness, or I'll blacklist you, meaning your character will go to someone else in a Charity section (so someone else can play him/her), and you won't be able to post here again.
5) Let's have at least one paragraph per post, and at least three for the intro; I won't go all evil on you if you run into a writers block, but don't make it a habit!
6) If you're going to be gone for awhile, please let me know! I'll be having a busy summer as well and I'll try to keep you all informed on when I'm going to be out of town. So you guys do the same!
7) I can add rules whenever I like, so keep a lookout here.
8 ) Actually, I decided to change the title of the PM you send me; make it "Swans!" instead. That's to get you to read all the rules! wink

The Camp Site

The Dorms:

Each room is fairly large, with beds lining down in a row. There are four normal beds in the middle, then on each side has a bunk bed, a total of eight beds. It’s usually first come, first serve, unless there’s any handicaps or fears of heights that would switch it about. No co-ed rooms; it’s all girls for one and all boys for the other.

Each staff member is assigned a cabin according to gender, and they have a nice view of the lake in the back. There’s a small deck on the back of each cabin, and there’s a large bathroom in each that has two sinks, two showers, a large mirror, and four toilets.

Lake: good for water activities, and each staff member is trained to swim, emergency action, and for CPR incase of accidents (which we’re hoping to avoid).
User Image

Dining area: there’s another large building for the dining area, as well as the kitchen where the food is made. Each day, a different “team” (as in, your cabin # and roommates) to do various tasks in the cafeteria, whether it’s cleaning dishes, cleaning tables, setting up tables, preparing food, etc. It depends on how many people show up, so it’ll start off sort of slow then pick up speed.

Movie Room: There’s a theater-like room with a bunch of chairs, places for drinks and food, and a big projector screen to watch a movie on Movie Nights. Very comfy.

Play area: Whenever a game is to be played, there’s a large open field, along with a small roofed building, that contains a place to play games that need chalk or a bouncy surface. There’s also a water fountain and some bathrooms.

The Trail: there’s a old trail that leads through the woods, which contains all sorts of animals and plants that are sure to awe the camp members. Hard to get too lost in if you stick to the trail and follow the leader.

The Quiet Area: there’s a small garden area that is a good hiding spot for those that need time alone to themselves, whether upset about something, just angry, or even just to get away from noise. There’s a lot of pretty flowers, a small fountain, and a lot of pretty statues of angels and magical creatures. It’s the good first place to look if one of the kids goes missing.

Dorm Assignments

If we don't get enough people, I'll divide it in half so that there's four per cabin, and just remove the two bunk beds. These people in the same cabin will be on the same "team", which completes tasks and competes together in games. If you're having some issues within your "team", then it's best to go to your Cabin leader to sort it out. Louvewings will not tolerate bullying or picking on people!

Accepted Students/camp goers

Girls

Gaia Name: Sora Kitty
Character Name: Rin Hikaru
Age: 13
Personality: Rin is usually a very quiet figure, but the few things she does say either comes out very odd, or very wise. It’s usually a 50/50 chance. She’s sort of scared of strangers, and will usually clamp up at the sight of one, and if Ken is around she’ll hide behind him like a child. That is, unless you can get the turtle to come out of the shell, which only Ken has been able to do as of yet. When she is more relaxed, she can keep a small conversation going, as well as have it be very interesting. She too is a dedicated person and will usually go through a task rather quickly due to spending hours straight on it, in complete silence.

History: Rin has enough things weighting her down to make one mad, starting all the way back to birth. Starting from day one, she was born with a strange handicap that made her afraid of food, believing it to be of some sort of poison. So, getting her to eat was a battle in itself when she was young. She also had a hard time being able to speak actual words, so for a year longer than it should have been it was grunts and distorted sounds (thankfully, this healed on it’s own, but there are occasional words she just can‘t pronounce). Born to two feuding parents (who were forced into marriage after the “accidental“ birth of Ken), this wasn’t a good thing for her, because neither one of them were very patient with her at all, nor very loving of one with a unsound mind. They had tolerated and loved Ken because he had come out surprisingly with very little issues, and therefore was almost seen as the “perfect child” between the two. As a result, the anger of the family was usually taken out on her, and when Ken wasn’t home, for he‘d be the only one to defend her. This would range from books being thrown at her, to the extreme of major verbal abuse and beating. Thankfully, she wasn’t in that house for a fifth birthday, for she was saved.

Ken had peeked though the window one night before he went in the house, and was with a elementary school teacher. When they both saw the senseless verbal beating, the teacher called 911 on Ken’s parents(he was 8 at the time) using a neighbor‘s phone. The police arrested the parents and took the “poor children” to the hospital. This was because, after being forced into the wall after a smack, one of the glass figures at the top of the shelf fell on top of her, smashing shards into her eye and therefore blinding her right eye. After trail at court and her parents officially earning time behind bars as well as emptied pockets, the two children were taken to a permanent adopt-ees home, who had wanted both of these children for their own. Ken and Rin have stayed at the new house since. These foster parents were/are wonderful, loving, kind, patient…………just what both of them needed, especially for Rin, who did warm up to them some after awhile, but still had a hard time trusting other people. After all, if not her own biological parents, then who was left other than Ken and these folks?

However, the mental damage had been done for Rin; as a result of trauma and self hatred, her mind came up with a “imaginary friend” that suddenly appeared out of a dream one night and was at her beside when Rin woke up. Rin could give you a perfect description of “Sakura”: A small nymph-like creature, skin blue and pale looking, with long curly red hair and a sparking black and white tank top like dress that was ripped mainly at the edges. Sakura is supposedly shoe-less, and she has pretty little bat wings. Although Rin does fear this creature, it makes no intentions to harm her, but to merely give her advice to help her in life. Usually the advice isn’t too bad, but once in awhile it’s of devilish nature, which doesn’t go well with the students nor teachers at school. But they believe her alright……..that she was insane and a freak. This made her self-esteem worse, with people picking on her and her one-eye and thoughts, and was no help to Ken’s nerves.

Her “parents” worried sick about this girl and her lack of both talking and of friends, they decided that perhaps this new camp could help her out, and maybe rid Rin of Sakura. After all, before Sakura appeared, the girl had acted rather normal and carefree, something they wanted to see again. Of course, the girl refused to go alone, so after seeing that Ken could use some time away as well, agreed that they could both go together.
Likes: Music, sounds of nature, poetry, drawing, birds.
Dislikes: The dark, shadows, big scary creatures, idiots, baseball bats.

Gaia Name: TeHsChNoZbErRy
Character Name: Kalliope Jonson
Age: 14
Personality: as a child I was reclusive and sarcastic when people attempted to talk to me. Not much difference now. My little sisters will be the more outgoing ones. You can tell. Okay, this isn't about my sisters, its about me. I guess I really should tell you about myself. Okay, I'm one of those girls who can look in the mirror and say, 'Hey! I look damn good!', then look closer and point out my flaws so I know I have them. I do the same now, although I want to lose the bulge around my middle. I'm a bit insecure about my body, but not as much as before. I'm what you call shy, and what I call LMA, Leave Me Alone, syndrome.

History:Born to a loverly family of six. Wait, it isn't a family of six yet. Scratch that. I'm the first born. Okay, wonderful. Let's move on. Wait. My birth. I was a tiny babe of 6 pounds and 14 inches. Lets go. Okay, I'm 1. I fall out of my high chair and on my head. You know... that explains a lot. Anyways. 2. I say my first word. 'Chit.' any idea what that is kids? Yep, you guessed it. 3. I'm learning more words, lala basic developmental cycle. I go to Disney. Woop de dah. Its a small world, ooh Peter Pan! Yaaayyysss!

I'm 4. I break my arm falling down a bunch of stairs playing 'mountain climber' with my cousin Danny. Haven't seen him in a while... anyways. A good 6 months healing over that... then a tornado goes and blows the house away. My five year old reason? Cats. Growing really big and scratching us! Anyways, the only thing I remember is eating Lucky Charms afterwards. (Yay for product placement!) Skip forward the boring elementary school years. Wait! Stop.

Yeah, I'm six. See that picture I'm painting? The flower that every girl brings home? Yeah, that's framed in the dining room. Along with five other flowers. Enjoy! 7. My first baby sister is born. I was eating Mcflurries in the hospital Mcdonalds when it happened. I didn't witness the miracle of life. Wait. Did I say one little sister? No, they were twins.

Zoom, zoom... okay. 13. My first period. Yeah yeah. Oh. You're wondering where friends link into my mostly familial view of life. Well... I wasn't exactly social throughout these years. In fact I brushed off most people that talked to me, instead choosing to sketch and write. But this year was my first friend. Gasp! Yes! My first friend... our first fight and we fell apart. I went back to my storwies and dwarings.

Soo... teen years. When I was fourteen the triplets were born. And now we're here.

Likes: fried ants, french fries dipped in frosties, humming, drawing acting. kittens and baseball caps (oh, and fedoras) and... Harrison Ford (Why does he have to be three times my age?)
Dislikes: slobbery dogs, peanut butter, skirts,

Gaia Name: Odd Chocolate
Character Name: Breeana {Bree} Takuru
Age: 15
Personality: Rather quiet but whats he really wants is for someone to reach down to her and talk to her. She is very caring but can be spiteful and sarcastic once she's mad. She loves music and loves to sit down in the grass once in a while and to be alone with the sun shine above her.
History: Bree is her because in scholl she had no friends and in 6th grade everyone called her "Swiss Cheese". She got bullied alot and since her mother died this year, three months ago, her father was so shocked and so depressed all the time that he couldn't take care of her or himself. So he sent her to this camp hoping that someone would help her get over her mother's death and that maybe she'll make some friends and raise her self-esteem. But what Bree really thinks is that her Father doesn't realy want her anomore because she reminds him of her mother.
Likes: {Music} [Art] {clouds} [Sitting in the grass] {The sun} [Reading] {Nice people} [Candy, but she is too afraid to ask for some] {crying}
Dislikes: [When peole yell or fight] {BUGS!!} [nightmares] {bullys} [the violin] {Preppy girls and girls who think theyr popular} [crying]

Gaia Name: Puppeteer Cyanide
Character Name: Asakura Shouhiro
Age: 15
Personality: Possessing a thick outer shell of cheer and carelessness, Asakura comes off as a bit scatterbrained, but a pleasant character. She's a loner by default, but mostly that's because she doesn't know how to react to other people. Always ready to traipse off into the unknown, bravery is one of her strong points, as she follows the (fairly trite) saying: 'There is nothing to fear but fear itself.'
Nonetheless, like everyone she has her darker sides. Her anger, when sparked, is a frightening concept, considering her 'circumstance', and when she even begins to sense a fight she will run off rather than confronting people.
History:
1992: Birth- Tokyo City, Japan

1 Year AB (after birth): Abandoned to orphanage (of course, on a rainy night in a cardboard box)

10 Years AB: Begins to show signs of great genius in her studies. Classmates grow jealous.

11 Years AB: On a school trip to the seaside, some classmates gang up on her and push her off a cliff where she sustains life-threatening injuries to her head, arms and legs. Students leave her for dead. A few hours after, a man finds her half-dead, crushed body and takes her, not to the hospital, but to his lab. He is a illegal genetic scientist- she has just become his new experiment with robotic body parts.

11-15 Years AB: After many years of experiments and constructions, Asakura has been reconstructed with robotic parts, and is capable of functioning far better than a normal human being. A raid on the scientists lab finds her, among all his failed experiments, and she is sent away to the camp to 'recover' whilst the government decides what to do with her.
Likes: Electronics, music, sweet foods, heights, adventures, beautiful views
Dislikes: Rust!
Appearance: Waist-long straight orange hair, dealt with by a hair tie in a single ponytail, and a messy fringe held back by thousands of clips. Her ears are pierced in multiple places, although most are just identification pins used to tracking her. Her eyes are grey, with a curious lucidity to them, although they often cloud over when she daydreams. Her build is lithe and long- she's almost scarily tall for a girl her age, as she brushes the six-foot mark, although she's bordering on 'gangling'. Her skin is nerd-pale, as most of her life she has been indoors, but her complexion is broken at her ankles and wrists by places where her macinery is open for quick repair. Her style in clothing is loose and comfortable, and she tends not to wear skirts. A messenger bag is always present somewhere around her, full of tools to fix any problems that might arise.

Boys

Gaia Name: Ken Hikaru
Character Name:
Age: 17
Personality: Ken is a dedicated, caring friend and brother, and does his absolute best to look out for Rin and for her handicaps both physically and mentally. He’s usually an easygoing fellow, ready to lend a hand and put 120% into his task. He has a passion for music, and thus likes to talk about different bands as well as workout tips and schedules. However, he is very clueless when it comes to the world of women, and the girl he usually turns to for help would be none other than his little sister. He also doesn’t like talking about the past very much, and that’s usually kept between the two siblings. After all, they’re all that they both got left as far as family.
History: Ken is the older of two children of a construction worker father and a store clerk. After the mother realized she was pregnant, the two parents married each other to keep the family together, although no longer fond of each other. Ken had seen the good side of the parents; they used to be caring, kind, nice, loving. It was a happy little family, and things went well for the first four years.

However, then the family started going into debt, the father a drinking problem. When Rin was born, she maybe had one good year before both parents were fed up with parenting, and of being together. Even at a young age Ken defended Rin’s unintentional accidents and strange things, by some miracle being able to realize that it wasn’t her fault. By trying to help her and she to him, they developed a wonderful bond that’s still with them today. But it was not enough to keep the small child from realizing that she was messed up; Ken was appalled at the fact that his parents would be so cruel towards her, then turn right around and give Ken a smile and a cookie. If it wasn’t for the fact that he was appalled and was trying to help Rin, he knew she’d hate him as sibling rivalry, and he couldn’t blame her for one moment.

After awhile Ken got very scared for Rin (who was already confused as it was), and went to his favorite elementary school teacher for help. She showed up at the house one night with Ken, and when they looked in the window, they were both horrified to see that Rin was being abused both physically and verbally. The teacher called 911 immediately, and by the time Ken escaped with a injured Rin, the parents were arrested and taken to jail. After court, they were given long sentences and to pay a very large fine, but Ken wondered if it’d be enough to help Rin recover. At least they were taken to a good foster home, where the parents were beyond helpful and patient, especially for Rin. That was his whole world, the only member he could still connect with, and she did grow much more sane and everything was happy again, and fjnally he got to see Rin smile.

It was…for awhile. However, Rin suddenly began speaking of a “Sakura” not too long ago, who was influencing her decisions, and not always for the better. He at first tried to assure her that it was her imagination, but that turned against him, and she ignored him until he realized that maybe she wasn’t lying. Very worried about her now, he was actually the one to come across the new camp, and thought that since Rin would NEVER open up to a psychiatrist or anything of that sort, that something fun would be of help. Of course, he’d be going as well, not just for Rin’s sake, but for his own sanity. He is less open about his issues, mainly because he knows out of the two he got off far more fortunate.

Likes: Music, playing the guitar, working out, dogs.
Dislikes: people messing with his little sis, spiders, drugs, alcohol.

Gaia Name: -skaterella66-
Character Name: Matt Vortage
Age: 16
Personality: Matt is normaly quite cheerful. But his wall is built quite high. To keep people out and his real emotions in. He may look cheerful like I said before. But he's honestly not. Although he is a very kind person. he just takes soem getting used to like everyone else.
History: Matt, honestly didn't have a choice. This wa shis punnisment for well alot of things. I guess I should list them and avoid leavign you hanging.

First of all, Matt lit his younger brothers hair on fire. Reason for doing so, well his brother was annoying him. Doesn't sound very rational I know but he was. He was using his guitar as drums. What would you do?

Second, not only was he failing some of his classes but he also tried to burn the school down. Why you might ask? Because he thought school was a waste of time. They don't even perpare you for the real world. He was onyl failign because he didn't show up to any of his classes other then english and art.

Thridly, well he kinda punched his dad in the face. His dad was being a jerke to his mom. Well his step dad. So Matt decided he had had enough. So he walked clamly over to him and broke his nose. While I'm on the topic of family. His famiyl is scrwed up..His dad died when he was nine and his mother married Gabe. And along with Gabe came Reno, his step brother. Back to what I was saying. Gabe couldn't take Matt's violent, outraguse behavior so he deicded to send his away this summer.
Likes: Matt enjoys being alone. Reading. Listning to music very loud. Playing russian roulet. And that's basicly it. He loves writing deep poetry and drawing. He kinda almost seems normal don't ya think?
Dislikes: Soical, annoying people. The sun. His step dad and brother. Being in a room filled with people. Spots, including baseball football lacross, and hockey. As well as a few others. He also, hates when a girl that doens't know him..Uses some cheesy pick up line because they think he's so cute..

Character Name: Andy Duguay
Age: 15
Personality: Andy is an overal happy kid. He's very athletic and charming. He has a good sense of humor, but isn't that funny.
History: Andy, well he's always been a sugar high child. But he can never find anythign to keep him busy for long. Once he herd from his friends that it was a great camp he decided to go. He figured that this would be the greatest way to burn of his energy/ adrenalin. Yet get enough rest. Since he doesn't get much at home.
Likes: Well of course, like most teenage boy's he likes girls. Pie. Football, soccer, baseball, hockey, lacross, rugby. Video games. Ect.

Gaia Name: nEOROTIC_nARCOTik
Character Name: Alexander Stevens
Age: Eighteen
Personality: Never one to shy from the limelight, Lexxy is always the life of a party. Outgoing and confident, with a wicked sense of humor, and thrives on having a "good time." He is a shameless flirt, and loves nothing more than to tease and be teased in return. Some might call him a b***h, but Alex is a guy who knows what he wants, when he wants it, and how he can get it. He loves competition and adversity. Though his reputation precedes him as a "party girl," it's a characteristic that's triggered more by his own search for escape than anything else. Alex wants nothing more than someone who will hold him tightly in his arms and tell him she's beautiful -- not just for one night, but for everyday. Because he likes to pretend he's a girl, he doesn't get close to anyone, and if someone ends up getting to close to him, he tries freeze them out.
Alex is the one who will randomly go around hugging people if he wanted to. He's hyper and happy and hates feeling down and seeing others down. He's loud and funny and loves to have a good time. He doesn't lose his temper very easily so when he does be sure to watch out. He has a nasty temper that he can't really control. He's generally a nice person, he's one to go to if you need cheering up, or if you just need a shoulder to cry on.
History: When Alex was born, it was into a family of eight girls. His mother and sisters. Alex, being the youngest, was either treated as a prince, a dress-up doll, or a scapegoat. Mostly the latter two. He was cute, so his family dressed him up as a girl. Since there was no male prescence in his life and he didn't know any better, and there was no one to stop it, although his sisters think he's a bit of a freak now. Eventually, he would have stopped, if he hadn't been diagnosed with cancer. He just kept pretending to be a girl because it made him feel safer. His first day of school? Alex was in a skirt. Everyone assumed he was female, and he never corrected them. There are only a very few people who know his true gender. His cancer is in remission,m so his family sent him here hoping it'd help him get over his 'what are you talking about, of course I'm a girl'-ness.
Likes: Pretty things, shiny things, things that are on fire, cow patterns, purple and yellow, thunder, loud noises, The Roadrunner, old movies, black, swimming.

Gaia Name: Atrum Krigare
Character Name: Kirai Still
Age: 13
Personality: Kirai is happy. Always happy. The last time Kirai has ever frowned was when he was born. Kirai is always adventorous, and will always make a joke when able. Don't worry if he talks to himself though. It's normal.
History: Kirai couldn't understand why. Why his mom and dad had to die in a stupid car accident. Why His stupid uncle and aunt, who used to always be so nice, took him in. He defiantly did not understand why he was in the basement, trying to stop the bleeding of his head with a dirty old rag. It was all stupid. Kirai frowned as he rubbed some of the wine from his uncle's store. Almost as if some invisible person has pulled them, his lips formed a smile again. The more you smile, the less painful it will be. His aunt's words echoed through his mind, as did his own. It could be worse. Then the other voice entered his mind again. It came to him so much now that it was natural, like talking to a best friend. How could this get any worse. We need to get away, and fast. Your Uncle is drinking more, and your aunt is getting more violent. Kirai shook his small, six year old head. "I know they are doing this just becuase thet love me
Age 8: kirai runs away. he is caught and beaten.
age 9: He runs away again. heis caught and beaten.
Age 10, he runs away two more times, and is caught both times. He is beaten to the point of death.
Age 12 on his birthday: The police storm into the house and arrest his Uncle on the charges of murdering his wife, drug abuse, and child abuse. a 12 year old boy is found in the basement with a small candle and a stale cookie, singing happy birthday to himself.
Age 13, on his birthday again: The two owners of the foster home talk behind quiet doors. "I am afraid for Kirai's health. He has rejected 20 Foster parents in the past year. He is a very likable child, but he keeps on saying that this person named Lin didn't like them."
The other man speaks, his voice is a small whisper. "I found this camp, perfect for him. Maybe they can help him. He needs friends that he can relate to." After a quick discussion, they decide. One man leaves the office to get Lin and tell him the news.
Likes: adventure, His guitar, smiles, jokes, and Lin
Dislikes: fighting, wepons, the color green, uncles and aunts, frogs. yuck.

Ladies

Gaia Name: Sora Kitty
Character Name: Crystal
Age: 24
Personality: Usually the bubbly type, Crystal is one of the experienced members of this new camp, and is second in command due to her experience with other children being higher. She tries to be patient with the ones that come here for help, but she’s straightforward and blunt when she needs to be. She rarely ever gets angry, so it’s good for those who need the patience. She also loves to have fun more than anything else, and is a good person to go to if you need cheering up.

History: Most of the staff here have had something happen to them in the past, and Crystal is no exception to the rules. Her parents and life were pretty normal and happy, but come upon time for college, the stress was too big for her, and she was not sure what she wanted to do with her life. She got with the wrong crowd and started on drugs and alcohol offered at parties. Her grades plummeted, and she was eventually kicked out of college and back at home. Her parents asked no questions when she arrived back, which made her feel very guilty about how she was kicked out in the first place.

But while she got rid of alcohol addiction, the drugs were much harder to break. It wasn’t until she got sick from a pill overdose and needed to be hospitalized that brought it home to them all what was going on. While she still stayed at home, her parent’s disappointment was overwhelming to her, and so one day, she finally got an apartment after working part-time and moved out, not wanting to cause more pain.

Her part-time job was teaching a after school club, and Crystal finally found her niche; she loved it so much, and was great with the kids. So when time came for the Louvewins camp to send out flyers to each city nearby and a flyer was taken to the after school club, Crystal was the natural choice, and now she awaits her biggest challenge yet; helping those that have been through heck, like herself. She looks forward to it eagerly, and plans to make it fun!
Likes: Parties, bunnies, music, strawberries.
Dislikes: Jerks, those who give up, bees, bullies, peas.
Reason for joining staff: She wants to help others that have had a hard time with life, and wants to show them that there are some very fun things about life that they need to see, hear, feel, smell, and touch. She wants to see the sparkles back in their eyes.

It was a sunny afternoon out on the Camp Louvewings; the water was crystal clear and the grass a wonderful green. The cabins, as well as the rest of the buildings, were just finished with the final touches and the last bit of dusting to keep the air free and clean.

Speaking of crystals, Crystal sat out on the pier near the dorms, with a few other staff members as the hour finally came for the camp goers to show up. In truth, she was a bit nervous; the first year of the place going and all, it was gonna be difficult to get used to as opposed to just the after school club. She’d have to eat, sleep, and breathe with these problem kids, but it’ll hopefully be worth it. She also happened to be in charge of one of the dorms; now THAT was going to be fun! She had already set up her small one-spot office/bedroom this morning, so she was all set. At least, she hoped so.

A small car pulled up into the camp driveway, and two teens got out of it. One of them was a strong young man, who went to the trunk and opened it, pulling out suitcases. The car was his and was allowed to sit here; he didn’t want to cause his parents trouble by bringing them up here. “Them” would refer to the other girl that got out of the car. Her hair was short and black, and a single dark blue eye gazed out at the nice afternoon. Her other eye was covered in bandages, and she was unable to see out of it. Her look was sort of dazed, but she came back to reality as she heard the trunk shut. They were both dressed in summer clothes; Ken in some Hawaiian shorts, a tank top, flip flops, and a vest. He always seemed to attract women, in which Rin merely shook her head in chuckled at whenever he was hit on. One time a lady thought that the two siblings were dating and not siblings; gosh, Sakura looooved the woman’s expression of surprise! Rin was wearing a tank-topped purple dress, the skirt slightly shorter than her usual attire, but just for the sake of the hot weather.

“Cmon, Rin! Get your suitcase and let’s go; I’m not carrying them all, ya know!” Ken Hikaru joked with a grin, his guitar case now on his back, a suitcase in one hand. There was a reason Ken wanted to be one of the first here, and that was for people to get used to Rin. Rin seemed to believe that there was some sort of magical creature that followed her wherever she went, and what was unsettling was that Rin feared it a bit. But it didn’t come out much during the day; just at night. He was worried sick about her, and if he could talk to the dorm leader, maybe he could give her some head warning and assure Rin that there was nothing to worry about.

After all, Rin had found out this morning that the dorms weren’t co-ed, meaning that they’d be separated. She didn’t like this idea very much, and had been mad at Ken for not mentioning it on purpose for a good part of the drive. She got over it, but he could tell that she was nervous.
Rin nodded silently and grabbed her suitcase and her pillow (which wouldn’t fit in it), and they both headed to the camp.

It took a few minutes to get to it, because they walked down a camp path to get TO the camp. It was nice to look at; the trees were nice and large, and many animals could be heard throughout it. A haven from the outside world. “Pretty neat, eh Rin?” he asked the girl, and she merely nodded silently, the only other sounds being the rolling of suitcases on path ground.

As they entered the camp grounds, it was more modern-looking then Ken thought; the buildings looked pretty new, and very clean trash-wise. A large banner was up, held up by two poles: “Welcome to Camp Louvewings!” in big painted letters. They wandered on, looking about at their peaceful and open surroundings. After awhile, they finally came to the lake area, where there were many dorm cabins lined up by the water. Out at the end of them was a pier, where some people could be seen.
“Are they staff or-?”

“Staff; they’re shirts are all orange and painted with wings.”
“HOW can you see that far away?” Ken had always been amazed at Rin’s very good vision out of one eye, while he had tried to squint with two and had no luck.
“Simple; make up for your loss by adding strength to another part of your body.” she shrugged, her voice not very loud. It never was unless angered. “And there is the list of who is in which cabin.” she added, pointing to a sign not too far from them. ((List of dorms is in earlier post.))

As the two gazed at the list, Ken nodded in almost a optimistic way. “See? Our dorms are right next to each other; you won’t be far from me at all!”
“Still not the same thing; I‘m still alone with a bunch of strangers.” Rin answered quietly, slight bitterness in her voice.
“Er-well, I’ll still see you during camp!” He answered again, but Rin suddenly changed expression and hid behind Ken, latching onto him. Ken looked in question at her; strange, she only did this when-

“Heeeey guys!” A voice greeted them. They both looked up, and there stood a young woman with a orange staff shirt on. Her red hair was an a ponytail-bun combo, and her eyes a bright green. “Welcome to Camp Louvewings! Crystal’s the name, fun is my game! And who have we here?” she asked in question, also trying to peer behind the boy playfully as the girl hid nervously. Aw, she was cute, and he was hansome!

“Ah, thanks! I’m Ken, and this is my sister Rin! Cmon Rin!” he murmured the last part to her, unlatching her from behind him and putting her out in front, holding onto her shoulders. She just looked in slight fear and curiosity at the lady. “S-sorry, she’s a bit of a quiet one…” he said.

“Aw, that’s ok! You’ve got nothing to fear of me, Ms. Rin! Wait, which dorm are you-?” she looked at the list for a moment; this kid was a strange one, only having one eye. Didn’t see that one coming. She looked at the list and saw her name……on Crystal’s dorm! “Ah, lucky you! I’m in charge of Dorm 1, where you’ll be staying! Perhaps we‘ll get to know each other more!” she said to the girl.

“Now, why don’t you go ahead and unpack? Go ahead and grab a good bed while you can, before the others show up! Hint: try to not get a bunk one, unless you like bunk beds.” she said kindly,
and Rin nodded in silent thanks, before leaving and heading to the dorm cabin, figuring that Ken was behind her.

But he wasn’t; he had stayed with Crystal. “Ah, you don’t mind if I talk to you for a moment, do ya? About Rin.” he added.
“No, not at all!” Crystal answered; maybe she’ll get some answers on her strange quietness. “Something I need to know medication wise?”

They both began coversation.

Matt came walking down the road with a back pack on his back and guitar case in hand. Along with a pair of head phones on his ears. He wasn't excited about getting here so he began to walk slower.

But it still didn't take him long. He walked into the camp ground ignoring every wave and smile. "These people are so cheerful and high hoped it's pathtic.." He murmured to himself. Matt was releved to see the boy talking to the councler. Just so he didn't have to meet her.

He made his way over to the list and found he was in cabin 2 or doorm 2 wich ever. He sighed as he relized he'd be rooming with people. But made his way to the doorm anyways. He set his stuff down on the top bunk and clibed up with one swift motion.

Andy got out of his dad's old pick up and gave his mom a hug good bye.

"I'm goign to miss you so much hunny! Rember don't set anything on fire, brun up that adenralin and write every week!" Her mothe rheld him at an arms length away and her smiled faded. She took her finger and whiped something off his face, giving him one last hug she said good bye.

Andy made his way into came smileing and winking at quite a few girls. They already where head over heals for him. He waved to the councler who was talkign to some boy. He got to the list and wlake dover excitedly to meet him roomates. He opend the door to find a rather depressed looking boy laying on the top bunk gazing at a picture.
"That your girlfriend?!" He shouted tryign to scare him.

"Was my girlfriend, she's dead now.." Matt said glaring down at the boy, who already was annoying him.

"Oh..sorry roomie."

"Don't...call me that..If you leave me alone we'll both get along just great.." Matt stated in his cold emotionless tone before going back to his music and picture.

When Rin got inside the cabin, she honestly smiled; how cozy! It was like a nice little secluded area, with a large bathroom, a deck outside, a small room next to the huge bedroom for them all (most likely that Crystal woman's room, since she was in charge of this dorm), and the big bedroom. Eight beds.......holy cow, that was alot of beds! Too many people possible in this cabin; she'd go nuts if there was seriously seven other kids with her! She looked at them all. They were all empty, so she got to get first pick, nice! She looked around for a moment, and settled with a nice comfy single bed (she didn't like bunks very much, so she'd have to thank Crystal for the tip later).

Putting the trunk ontop of the bed, she put on her headphones and turned on her Ipod; she had figured out by now that Ken had not followed her and instead was talking with Crystal. She couldn't get mad at him for that; after all, he had to go through alot for her. She was just glad that she was alone in the room right now; it made her happier. She began putting the sheets on her bed after putting her suitcase on the floor, and began to decorate her tiny space of the room. Maybe it won't be TOO bad.......hopefully. Just as long as she didn't get some prep teasing her for only having one eye again. If one more biatch called her "cyclops" she was gonna seriously strangle someone.

But enough worrying; just let the music take you to a happier place as you put up your flower sheets. Then that poster of Nightwish! she thought to herself, as the music was playing in her ears.

"Aaaah, that makes sense. I can see that that must stress you quite a bit." Crystal said after awhile, for Ken had finished explaining what was the issue with Rin.
"It does, but she's alot better than she used to be; still very clingy to me, but I guess that's normal." Ken shrugged, shifting the weight of his guitar case to another shoulder.
"Well, I'll definiately make sure to keep an eye out for her; the whole point here is to heal people and have fun. Now, why dont you go ahead and unpack before all the beds are gone?" she nodded tot he cabin, not to chase him away, but to make sure he didn't run late."Oh, alright. Thanks so much!" he said, as he ran off with his suitcase to dorm 2.

Crystal merely chuckled as she then awaited for more folks and to direct them to the right dorm; where the heck was the guy in charge of dorm 2?!

As Ken entered the area, he could see that two people were already there....and didn't appear to be getting along to great. One guy was holding a picture up in his bunk, looking depressed and yet angry. The other guy was full of energy. Taking off of his life with Rin, he merely nodded to them both before choosing a single bed and beginning to unpack, his guitar case on the bed. He figured that if they didn't mind being bothered, they'd start the conversation. But the man in the bed didn't look pleased at the moment, so he kept his tounge in check in order to not annoy him farther.

Matt jumpted down from his bunk bringing his guitar with him. "I see you have one of your own, what kind?" Matt smierked, with an eye brow raised he took his out and tossed his guitar case on to his bed. His was hand made, well he made it himself when he was little. It was a nice looking acoustic, black, with sliver cords.. That where so claen you could have sworn he stainded them every day.

Andy looked at the too and decided to break up the guitar coversation. "Ken right? I'm Andy and this would be.."

"Matt..." Matt looked over at Andy then turned his whole body towards him. "Well, since I can tell Ken play's do you play Andy?"

"I can, but I perfer drums.." He said as he whipped out a pair of drum sticks and tossed them to matt. Matt caught them and looked at them they where batterd but he could make out the print.

"Y-you got these sighned by cannibal corpse!" Matt's eyes widend and he looked up at Andy.

"Yup..My brothers in the band." Matt stared at him like he was dead.

Ken noticed that the silence in the room suddenly.....lifted. Strange, that always seemed to happen when he entered a room. "Ah, good to see some fellow music lovers!" Ken said to keep the mood lightened, looking at Matt's guitar. He made a whistling sound. "Nice; you put my hard work to shame." he nodded in surprise, as he took out his as well. It was in fairly good condition; the strings were pretty clean but it could use a paint job. It was actually a hand-me-down, since money was scarse at the time he had bought it. They could definiately afford a paint job now, but Ken had been low on time as of late. It was a nice color actually, a deep blue, but the paint a bit warn. "Doesn't look like much, but plays like a pro." Ken nodded, as he tuned the strings.

At the sound of the signed drumsticks, he looked up again at the other boy, then to Matt (who looked very shocked), then looked at the drumsticks in his hand to make sure they weren't fake. Didn't look it. "Really? Interesting, to say the least." he had to agree in shock.
