The judge spins the wheel and it lands on...
City Streets Field: Broken tar and faded yellow lines make up the “street” that runs down the exact center of the battle field. On either side of the road, sidewalks with pieces of concrete here and there are broken off while “building walls”, set with windows of sugar glass and rotating doors are placed on one side of the street. On the other is a broken down building with barred window and a boarded up door. Faint traces of grim and much cover the walls of both “buildings” while trash cans and trash bags decorate the street; some are torn open with their contents spilled out while others are not. A sewer grate nearby continually pours a stream of fog into the air while, on the corner near a crossroad, a phone booth is seen. The phone, hanging off the hook, makes a continuous busy signal. Dying and dead bushes line the building sides while occasional breezes blow the dead leaves onto the sidewalks and road.

Zen stood on his platform outside the arena, tossing his pokeball up and down. Koori had just recently evolved, and Luna had immediately asked for a battle with her. Zen really hadn't wanted to comply, but Armageddon and Koori both urged him to say yes. So, Zen was here, Koori standing on the battle field, disgust in her eyes at the stadium's condition.
Koori was eagerly awaiting the battle. She couldn;t wait to show off her new power! And she would show her fool of a father that battle was good!

Luna choked on the air of the stadium. NONONONONOOOOOOO! She absolutely HATED the city streets field. It smelled horrible. "P-Prinnnce..." She choked out before tossing out a pokeball into the field.
The red and white ball released the elegant pidgeot who circled above the debris. Taking a glance at his trainer, he was thankful that he did not have a good sense of smell.

"M'kay...Prince..." Luna started, putting a strip of cloth she kept for plushie making in her bag to her nose to partially filter the air, "Steel wing!" Luna always liked to start it off with a traditional move.
Prince silently dove towards the Glaceon, his wings gaining a metallic shine and hardness as he neared Koori and flew past her.

"Koori, use Ice Beam." Zen stated calmly. If anything, he had learned to not let emotions get the best of him while battling.
Koori ran past Prince, his feathers glancing her, giving her a nick in the side, and slowing her down a bit. As she got to the other side of the street, she let an ice beam loose in Prince's direction. (900/1000)

"Yes~!Thanks!" Luna thanked her opponent for his move. She loved to leech a status condition move from her opponent. The excitement almost even made the air smell better...almost. It still smelled of rotten eggs. "Mimic Prince!"
Prince's eyes glowed as he memorized the move that was coming at him. At the last minute, he dove down to avoid most of the attack although some of the feathers on his back developed an ice coating. Prince shivered a bit. He then faced Koori and opened his beak, letting out a similar ice beam.

"Koori! Evade and Iron Tail! Go!" Zen ordered, confident in Koori. He might actually win this battle, who knows?
Koori's tail glowed as she focused her energies, awaiting the ice beam to approach her. One it was about to hit her, she leaped forward, tucked her body in, and rode the ice beam. It did hit her back, causing a stinging burn, but she continued. Once at the top, she unrolled and came down at Prince, tail forward. [700/1000]

"Ha~Don't even dream of trying to beat us in the air Zen~It is Prince's domain after all." Luna declared to Zen. Prince was way more manueverable with his wings than a glaceon riding on an ice beam.
Prince broke off his icebeam as soon as he saw Koori riding on it and flew up high right before Koori could hit him.
"Geo!"
This move disrupted the other's momentum and sending Koori down towards the field again where some broken glass fragments lay waiting to pierce her skin.
[900/1000] ((There was no attack in this by the way, just Prince dodging by flying and using the stadium to hurt people xD;; ))

"Well then, Luna, looks like we'll just have to dethrone Prince here! Koori! Ice him up!" Zen called, letting her do what she knew best.
Koori allowed herself to land on the lass, shards getting into her paws. She tried paying it no mind, and sucked in as much cool air as she could. In her mind, she was processing the only cover all move that she knew. She released the gust of cold air into the sky, causing powdery snow to fall at blinding speeds. [600/1000]

'...This doesn't look good either...' Luna thought. But, the snow did get rid of the fowl smell of the arena. The trainer was VERY thankful. She should have asked Prince to use gust at the very beginning.
"Hurry and get out of there with a steel wing!"
Prince immediately hardened his wings to prevent them from getting too cold. His internal circulation didn't fair too well against the cold weather. Prince darted towards Koori, ignoring the fact that his whole back was probably frozen by now.
The bird pokemon swooped past the ice pokemon, his speed making it hard for the trainers to tell if any damage had been done or not.

"Koori, let's try something else. Give 'em a toxic!" Zen ordered, watching blood freeze on the now icy street. That steel wing must have been pretty nasty.
Loori had no time to react, and was hit full on the side by the steel wing. Luckily, her adrenaline had caused her fur to needle up the instant the battle started, so it wouldn't leave a scar.
Koori took in a deep breath, and launched out an explosion of toxic air, aimed towards the bird-cicle that was Prince. [400/1000]

Luna smirked. Gas was definately not going to get them down. Prince was the master of the skies, and that included wind as well. "Prince! Use gust to smack the attack right back at her!"
Prince faced the attack and spread his wings out wide to their full wingspan before flapping them down hard repeatedly. The movement created strong gusts of wind that knocked the toxic gas back to the glaceon, along with some compacted areas of wind that looked potentially harmful.

Koori! Don't breathe, and use another Ice Beam!" Zen called. Koori's own attacks wouldn't touch her...but those air bullets would.
Koori held her breath, dodging the air bullets, yet some clipped her tail and headdress. She absorbed power from the snow, and let a flurry of ice beams out in rapid succession, all aimed at the areas that Prince might fly to. [300/1000]
