Daniel Autumn's breath came out in irregular gasps, a mingling of blood and saliva dropping from his throat onto the dirt below him. He was on his knees in the gathering darkness of the Forbidden Forest, his palms pressed to the ground to keep himself from falling to the ground. He had spent the past few hours evading the centaurs and such that inhabited the forest, centaurs that were none too happy to find a werewolf - even if he was in human form - in their midst.
"Damn it..." he panted, pulling himself up. He staggered for a few feet, face pointed at the darkening sky above, his hair that had changed to black shortly after his transformation plastered to his sweat-covered face. "Damn those centaurs... damn the moon..."
He hoped that this moon was not a full one, the same hope he had carried every night for the past three months. At first, he had been terrified when he had started to change, but that terror had slowly developed into a deep, dark hatred; a force that burned within him daily, threatening to boil over at any moment and turn him into a beast even when he was not in werewolf form.
He placed a hand on his forehead, closing his eyes. It was best when he didn't dwell on that for too long; it was a pointless matter that wasn't worth thinking of as much as he had been.
Plucking at a thread on his battered cloak, he continued into the dark wood, absently wondering if there were any rabbits nearby.

Finally, they made it into the forest. After a long time of trying to get away from the others, Jeremy kayla and Makida had finally managed to escape. They had thus begun the search for Daniel. After thinking about it, Kayla concluded that Daniel would no longer be in hogsmead, but most likley back in the forest, so that's where they went.
"Waite.." Kayla said, turnning back to the other two. "Is there a full moon tonight?"
Jeremy raised his eyebrow and looked up at the sky "I... I don't know.... The sun is starting to set though, so if there is we will have to look quickly, and be prepared... very prepared."
Kayla sighed and nodded her head, turing again and started to jog quicky deeper into the forbidden forest, Jeremy and Makida right on her heels.

Once Fafnir had pulled the statue, Ria become a bit more paranoid. Although the light that he created later clamed her down a bit. She followed Celeste; not that she had a choice to go a different way. After a while, Ria tried to look behind her but hit her head. For a few moments she stopped but quickly crawled trying not to hold Fafnir back.
After she feeling the soil change herself, Ria knew nothing could happen. And the fact that Celeste said that they were almost there. When they were able to stand up, Ria stretched. Crawling for at least 25 minutes made some of her mussels hurt. Ria stared at Celeste and Fafnir.
“Err..” She said but suddenly changing her mind.
She walked over to Fafnir and Celeste. Ria nodded and started to climb up using the roots just in case. Soon when she reached the top, Ria pulled herself over the edge and looked down at the other two.
“So now what? Do I lift you guys up?” She peered around her looking from something that could be used as a rope.

Makida ran behind Jeremy, who in turn was behind Kayla.
With a whip in the face from a tree branch, she let out a quiet "Ow!" and continued silently.
This is it... we've waited three torterous months for this night.
"How do we know how far in he went? Or if he's even here?"
The cold chill of the night sent a shiver down her spine, and the fact that they were searcher for a werewolf added to the fright. Even if he was their friend, they had no idea what had happened to him in these past months.
"Guys... this place creeps me out so bad..."
Secretly wishing them to find Daniel soon, she continued to follow her friends deeper into the forbidden forest.

Jeremy could see the look on Makida's face, and Kayla's. This was insane what they were doing. Why were they doing it anyway? It was way to dangerous. "Guys, I'm not going. Your not going either! It's just to dangerous! We don't even know if it's a full moon, and what happens if it is? No. I won't have this!"
Kayla turned back and looked at Jeremy. How could he say that?! "Fine Jeremy" She responded, glaring at him "You don't go, but bloody hell I am!!" She yelled, turning back to Makida.
Jeremy's mouth dropped. Was she blind?!! "FINE! DIE FOR ALL I CARE!" he yelled out, taking one last look at Makida and then running back towards the castle.

Fafnir shook his head, realizing afterward that Ria would most liekly not be able to see this. He reajusted his position; Celeste's knee was driving viciously into his back.
"No. You just help Celeste up, 'cause she is shorter then us two."
Before Celeste could reply with some angry comment, he quickly said,
"Alright Celeste, get up. Let's go before people notice us missing!"
Celeste hissed, getting to her feet. She ground one heel rudely into Fafnir's back, before jumping up and grabbing a root Ria had moved into a good position. Her fingers were slipping off the root, when she swung her other hand up, and grab Ria's foot.
"Keep still, you!" she called up to Ria.
Fafnir got to his feet, rubbing his back, before he pushed Celeste's feet upward towards the light.
As Celeste struggled up, oddly so, because she pushed her legs through the hole first, before squishing her arms up. She glared at a grey squirrel, who seemed to be chuckling at her, before she heard a voice coming from beneath. Scrambling beside Ria, she looked down the hole, and shooted,
"What?!"
"Get ready, you idiots!"
Fafnir jumped up, grabbing on to two roots. Once he was steady there, he held out on hand, looking at Ria, and Celeste expectantly.
Celeste held one hand out for him to grab, while expecting Ria to grab his other hand.

Makida looked confusedly at Jeremy, then watched him run away.
She looked back at Kayla, "He doesn't mean that. You know he doesn't. He's just scared for you that's all..." she smiled, trying to make them both feel better. Walking up to her friend, he continued, "We need to do this Kayla, I know that you've wanted this for a long time now... we have to keep looking. Daniel could... could need our help."
She looked at her friend, the turned to continue into the forest.
"I'm scared, I know I am, but he's our friend, and he would do the same for you Kayla. C'mon."

Kayla watched Jeremy run back towards the castle. She half wanted to run back with him, but she knew she couldn't. She looked back at her friend and nodded her head. "Yea, I know... I am scared though... Just of what we might find... There are so many things in the forbidden forest. They call it forbidden for a reason...." She sighed and gave a half smile to Makida. "But there's no going back now is there? we need to just keep on movie I guess." She said, walking slowly, pushing shrubs and trees out of her face. her heart was beating alot faster then normal.

Suddenly, Daniel stopped right where he was. He sniffed the air, then turned to his right to see, perched on a lower branch of a rowan, a small, grey squirrel, chittering at him. He stood there, staring at it for a moment, then lunged at the tree, attempting to catch the squirrel in his bare hands. The creature darted from his grasp onto higher parts as he scrambled toward the next branch, though his climbing skill was abysmal, at best. He slipped, falling from the tree and landing on his back.
"Oof..."
"Mrow."
Daniel opened his eyes, blinking as he saw a small, black cat looming over him. "Mrow?" he asked, dazed, and the cat ran away. He strambled to his feet again, taking after the cat, eyes gleaming at the newfound meal.

Ria nodded and looked around. She heard many stories about the wood. None that she believed though. Her eyes rolled at the last part Fafnir said. The only person who would miss her would probably be Lemon and maybe Aaron but who knows. The only reason he might have been there was because of Celeste.
When Celeste grabbed her leg, Ria flinched and grabbed a hold of a rock nearby so she wouldn’t slip.
“Sorry~!” She yelled. Quickly she helped Celeste up and looked down the hole along with her. Her eyes wondered to Celeste but then back to the hole when she saw something move. Ria stretched her hand out to grab Fafnir hand. When grabbing hold of his hand, Ria quickly placed her other hand and attempted to pull him up.
While trying to pull Fafinr up, she heard a thud. Quicklt she let go of him and turned around.
"Hol-" She cut herself off and cover her mouth looking at the strange creature. Slowly, Ria move to Celeste and nudged her.

Nodding, Makida whispered, "Right."
She is right... what if tonight is a full moon? The centaurs won't REALLY care that we are here... will they?
Makida walked as close to Kayla as possible, her fear of the dark lingering in her soul. Something inside told her to go back with Jeremy, but she kept resisting..."Not now." She whispered. "Not yet..."
Her copper eyes darted around, looking for anything that moved, or seemed out of place. Her wand was in her hand and ready, for anything.

Kayla stopped in her tracks and looked up into the sky, listening. She could hear a faint ... meow of a cat. She blinked and turned to her right, where she had heard it. Something inside of her told her to go in that direction. "This way" She whispered to Makida, walking slowly towards a more dence area of the forest. The trees were bigger, length wise and with wise. The air was damp, and so was the forest ground. Leaves crunched softly under her feet as she continued forwards.

Celeste grabbed Fafnir's other arm, trying to pull him up aswell.
"Gosh, you're heavy.
She heard a grunt from below, then a thud. She blinked... Thud? There was not supposed to be a thud. Fafnir hadn't fallen.
Glancing up, her eyes widened as she saw a boy scramble to his feet. She felt a shiver run over her, and issued a loud scream, before covering her own mouth, and placing a hand on Ria's already covered mouth. There the hands stayed, until at least half a minute later, when Ria nudged her. She released the Hufflepuff's mouth from her grasp, and glanced down the hole at Fafnir.
"What the ******** is going on up theer! Do you want me to break my ******** back?!" Fafnir cursed at the girls.

Her eyes tried to read Kayla's face, but she only sensed her own fear. Swallowing hard she followed.
"What did you hear? Do I want to know?"
She listened intently, but only ehard the soft thump of her heart hammering inside of her.
"Calm down." She told herself. "You need to be here."
She silently told herself that everything was going to be alright, and Daniel was going to be glad they were there. She hoped.
Still listening, she watched the clouds move across the quiet night sky, and wished for this to come soon.
