Seashore Field
Split down the middle between land and sea, this field compliments land and water type pokemon. On the west end of the field is the land section: fine grained sand gradually slopes downward to meet the salt water on the east end of the battleground. A single palm tree wavers lightly in the breeze (the stadium ceiling is open when this field is selected) while shells are scattered in random places in and on the sand. In the water half of the battleground, the water laps at the sand much like at a real beach; when it retracts it leaves behind strands of seaweed and pieces of coral. Both are found under the water, offering shelter for water-types (or those who can hold their breath for great periods of times).

The healer step into the trainer box and gave a funny look at the field. "....well...that's...a new one...."
He remember watching pokemon battles on the tv when he was younger, but he couldn't recall ever seeing this field.
Shaking his head from the thoughts, he took his long white coat off and threw it on the rail of the box before calling out Faraon.
The elegant persian came out with a loud roar, his paws sank into the sand and he sniffed it. ".....merow?" was he in giant meowth litter?
Dr Hart tried to not chuckle and kept a straight face, for the most part. [Hp: 1000/1000]

"Let's go Prince!" Luna shouted as she ran into her trainer box, throwing a pokeball infront of her and allowing the pidgeot to soar into the blue skies of the open stadium. "We're definately ready this time!" The black haired trainer declared to Faraon and his trainer.
"Geeeeooooooo!" Prince cried, spreading his wings to their maximum wingspan, giving a spectacular view of his well groomed feathers. How they still remained in good condition through all his battles was Prince's secret.
The large bird circled the stadium, making note of the tree and his opponent, a four legged feline. He had never fought a persian before, but he didn't mind new experiences...much. He would prevail.

"He~! Okay Prince!" Luna started, taking a deep breath of the fresh sea air. She debated what move would be best to use and finally decided on one of Prince's more traditional moves. Traditional moves were always good to start a battle, right? "Let's start this off with a steel wing!"
Prince was feeling silent today. It was one of those days when he felt like only silently obeying his trainer...or even disobeying her. Prince curved in from over the minature sea of the beach towards Faraon, wings glowing and eyes glinting.

Faraon had been distracted, and after the attack, Lock blame himself for never taking the persian to a beach before. The pokemon slid through the fine sands at the sudden critical hit, kicking up a cloud of sand. As it clear off, the feline was no longer in sight, half buried under the sand and his pelt blending into the sands. "That...gotta hurt...." Lock stared for a moment, having lost sight of his poor feline. He was used to it, but not after being attack by a pokemon, was he even conscious?
Might as well try something. "Faraon, " He kept a calm voice. "Power Gem."
The unnaturally glowing blue jewel gave a glint, the feline pokemon leaped out of the sand, ears locked on the pokemon bird. His stand was strong, but it was obvious his ribcage's side, bruised badly.
The glowing jewel suddenly drain itself and Faraon open his mouth, suddenly letting out a powerful gem-like glittering beam towards the other.

Prince had immediately curved up into the air again after his attack, now back to his domain in the blue skies of the beach.
"Whoaa~You guys learned something new!" Luna commented To be honest, she had no clue what the attack was, she had never even saw it used before. It was exciting, to say the least.
"Ariel ace Prince!"
Prince, now at a respectable altitude once more with a fair amount of distance away from Faraon, dove down towards the attack. A white aura started to come off of his beak and trail around his body as he broke through the center of the attack without much difficulty except for a bit of numbness for his beak.
His attack continued as he continued to dive down towards the feline.

"Actually, he has know it for a while..." Lock answer lightly as he watched Prince. Faraon rolled under Prince's attack, getting his back slashed across by the attack.
"Bite him now!"
The feline leaped suddenly up and snap his jaws close, trying to land a bite on the bird's body. [700/1000]

"Steel wing!" Luna called out immediately after she had heard the word "bite." Isamu had tried something similar on Prince before and they had a pretty good idea of how to defend now.
Prince hardened his wings. Both he and his trainer knew he couldn't fly backwards like a hummingbird and verring off to the side would still probably get Faraon some feathers...his TAIL feathers. And those took extra long to grow back.
As soon as Faraon clamped down on a wing, Prince started to flap around, his sharp metal feathers shifting in Faraon's mouth with the potential of cutting something.

Faraon kept his jaws clamp on the wing, eyes narrow now in anger when he felt that his mouth was being filled by the taste of his own blood, the corners of his mouth were wounded. He violently shook his head, trying to knock the bird right off the air.
The healer stared, quiet surprise by the behavior, since normally the feline kept his cool and didn't show many of his species' aggressive traits. He snap quickly out of it, suddenly remember an attack that would fit quiet nicely. "Shadow pulse!"
His aura darken and he suddenly released the dark ripple attack in all directions. [600/1000]

"Prince! Get out of there now! HYPER BEAM!" Shouted the trainer. She didn't know exactly what shadow pulse was, but she guessed it was like the dark pulse of her ninetales and equally damaging. And Prince's steel wing flailing didn't seem to be doing any good.
The dark blast was pulling wracked Prince's body with pain, but he continued to flail in Faraon's mouth. Prince met the cat eye to eye and soon after, started the charge a hyperbeam right at the Faraon's face. It was let go or get blasted.

"Faraon! Let go!" The feline growled, glaring and keeping his hold tight. "Let go!" Faraon just growled louder, his fur was bristled up and his tail was up and straighten to the point that it look like a pole.
"I said let go! NOW!" Lock slam his fist on down on the railing, losing his own temper.
The feline shook his head, throwing the bird away from him, the beam graze against his cheek. He turned his head to his trainer and roar in anger. The healer sighed and bowed his head, suddenly relaxing. "....Shadow ball! Get out your system, Faraon!" Faraon open his mouth, a dark ghostly ball started to form rapidly and he released towards Prince. [I meant dark pulse, but the first attack in mind was shadow ball, I kind of didn't realize I hadn't switch the words] [500/1000]

Prince managed to regain balance while being tossed and fly into the sky again. The pidgeot regained altitude as soon as he could.
"You okay Prince?" The trainer asked her pokemon in slight worry.
"Ge!" Prince responded.
"Alright! Let's see if we can do this again! Aerial Ace!"
Prince started to head for the big shadow ball. Oce again, his beak started to glow and trails of white aura trailed behind it around his body. Prince dove through the center of the attack. His body felt constricted and his nerves screamed with pain, but it was a feeling he was used too. He was quite the battle veteran by now.
Prince started to twist in his aerial ace attack, giving it even more force and allowing it to completely break through the shadowball and go towards Faraon once again.

The healer watch closely, his mind racing as the bird pokemon went straight for the shadow ball. He wasn't about to repeat the same attack. Faraon rolled and dodge the severity of the attack, getting more scratches along his back. He was about to lunged to bite again, ignoring the fact that he hadn't been order to do so.
"Faraon! Thunder!" The man snap him off it.
The feline's fur bristle as his eyes glared, and he unleashed the electric attack instead with a powerful roar . [400/1000]
