Well, what is it? Why? Gaia only allows ten options in a poll, so I combined Sorcerer and Wizard. Sorry if I step on someone's toes, but those seemed the most similar to me.

Mine is Rogue. I love playing the guy that everyone needs. No other class can do what a Rogue can, and no other class is so essential to the survival of a party. Anyone can hit something and do damage, and a whole bunch of classes can heal to some extent. Only a Rogue can disarm a trap. Makes me feel special whenever I succeed.

I picked Bard because I think they're the ultimate versatility. Decent combat, various arcane spells, healing spells, charismatic ability, great skill selection. Not excellent at anything, but able to do anything.

If I could pick 2nd place I'd choose Druid, also for versatility (diverse spells, wild shape gives excellent combat usefulness, etc.)

I'd pick Barbarian for 3rd place because I think everyone, no matter what jobclass you are should take 1 level of barbarian. Who wouldn't make use of a +10 to base land speed? Not to mention, a well timed Rage is good for anybody! "Boy, that Wizard's starting to look a little crazy. I don't like how he's foaming at the mouth and charging at me with that staff...."

I love Monks, mostly because I am a student of kung fu in real life so the monk is a really appealing class to me. But any class in an MMORPG that has fist fighting or martial arts in general is awesome lol. But in D&D I like them the most because your choice of weaponry is more exotic and the benefits through age and experience are just cool [timeless body/crystal body/ect.]. That and the fact that they are strong enough to stand toe to toe with a fighter but still move 60ft per turn to smack a Necromancer off guard behind his army of undead is sweet.

Second for me would be the fighter class itself, I like when classes look physically impressive so Fighters look cool with their "Vorpal Greataxe" +5 and Full Plate+3 kind of equipment. Rouges are very similar in this way so they make a close third, I especially like rogues on D&D because im not limited to only stealth unlike other MMORPG

Well I tend to take a great liking to nature so my number one is ranger.... great versatility there

The Druid is my number 2 class, once I a while I make a druid, and almost everytime they own XD

as for a number 3... though Iv used almost every class once or twice, and only used this once, I high INT fighter makes a great archer of all coming death and a ok skill selcetion

I am going to remember the barbarian tip, to bad it only works with some class combos with no exp shot, but it might help Drake Wolf once he gets his pet

+10 to the base speed is only good if you're not in Heavy armor. Not so useful for a fighter or paladin or cleric. Don't think I wanna be a raging Wizard, either. XD

raging wizzerd not so much, but intimidate and the bonus hp could help, and it is not good for heavy armor classes... that semi goes with out saying, though there is medium armor fighters too

Oh, I can think of a LOT of uses for a Barbarian in Heavy Armor. Most of them have to deal with not dying. Ever.

Bah, if you want a Barb. not to die, give him dex, not heavy armor. Give him dex, and con, and he'll never die.

A high dex with enchanted mid armor beats heavy armor big time

But I like Killing things too, so I have a high strength score. Gotta fit it all in somewhere.

Dex > Str for killing things though.

Is that some form of twinkery i'm unfamiliar with? I think i'm missing something crucial here. xd

Why waste a high stat on Str, when Dex is far more important. It makes you live longer, which means more damage out put, and weapon finese makes you hit more frequently, and works well with rapiers.

Because I can pick up a greataxe and do triple the damage in one swing and not need to be harder to hit on account of everything is dead. xd Just pros and cons. Besides, what self respecting barbarian uses a rapier?

The best kind, duh.

And survivability is much better than doing somewhat good damage, especially later in levels. Especially when all the damage you're doing is outstripped by the magi in the party.
