Upcoming Chinese Festivals

The Chinese Dumpling Festival just ended

do u want to start with the basics first? If not, ill tell u more about the Chinese festival that happened yesterday.

Okay!
Let's say you're going to China, and of course, u must learn a bit of CHinese in order to survive there =D

The Chinese language has 2 'parts' 1st is the writing and the other is the hanyu pinyin (pronunciation).
ill teach you the hanyu pinyin first as its easier.

But anyway, someone approaches you and says


Ni Hao means -Hi, how are you?
Well, to respond you can say the same thing...
"Ni hao"

Usually, when u use web translator they will have numbers after the word like
Ni2 Hao3 the numbers actually tells you how to say it. Did u learn Chinese before?

hmm, the numebrs might help. try to pronounce the word like English,

nǐhǎo

see those small sign on top of the words? those are what the numbers represent.
