I'm going to be building a G/B deck. something I've wanted to for a while. THis will be different. It's going to focus on one of shadow moors main aspects, -1/-1 counters.
It's going to use things such as grief tyrant, kulrath knight, blowfly infestation, incremental blight, scarscale ritual, scar, wheel of sun and moon, everlasting torment, tatter kite, and doubling season.
a proverbial clowncar of wither creatures, boggart ram gang, that black mentor that gives black guys wither.
NOw this idea is haevily combo imatic, and wont cut it outside of casual. I'm wonderingi if it would be possible, and probable to get out doubling season(s), blowfly infestation(s), and a grief tyrant or a clowncar of witherers.
also would I need to splash red for direct damage as this is looking to be a wrathless wrath deck. If not what kind of black or green things could I use to do damage.

actually you would definitely want the 5 costed green spell from the new set...its an uncommon...says whenever a -1/-1 counter goes on a creature put a 1/1 green elf token into play. Doubling season seems bad for the deck, and honestly i think you need to do this type 2 for it to be any good. Also the rare that prevents life gain and makes all damage dealt as wither damage.

corrupt, consume spirit, etc. All do single target damage, but honestly i think it would be better to splash red, or to rely on your creature beats. Midnight Banshee is a house with Kulrath Knight.

If you splash red you have access to puncture bolt. deals 1 damage to target creature then put a -1/-1 counter on it.
