I've been asking myself this question for a few mintutes, and I can't seem to answer it myself. Maybe you guys could possibly answer it for me. This is where it starts. You know how a vampire can heal fast and stuff? What if they got a cut or something that took only a day to heal up and not be there anymore, how long would it take for it to heal up for them?
Okay, so I am not quite sure how long it really takes for a vampire to heal up. Plus, to add the fact that it's really hard for them to get hurt in the firt place at all. But I was just curious and stuff.
So maybe you guys could answer this for me and stuff. :]

Well...first of all...can vampires heal fast? The only thing I can think of that would be close to an explanation for that is in Eclipse when the werewolves are explaning the legends. It said that the chunks of the vampire they killed/destroyed started trying to piece itself together, but that's all I can think of.
Second, I'm thinking you mean werewolves. Mostly cuz vampires don't get cut. But if vampires could get cut, I think it would heal almost instantly. Same thing for werewolves. Instant healing. But that's the only answer I can come up with.

I think it would probably heal the second after they got the cut even though it's very unlikely for a vampire to get a cut.

Well, what I want to know is remember how Victoria was getting ripped to pieces? Her body was severed but the hand close to Bella was trying to find it's way back ((flashback to Pirates of The Caribbean haha))?
If they get ripped apart, how long would it take for them to piece themselves back together AND what if some of the pieces were burned?
I'm sure they'd heal someway or another - but since they don't have blood, they're skin can't heal like the wolves or a normal humans. Perhaps it just sort of reappears?

Umm, guys, in Eclipse, one of the vampires, I can't remember who, tells Bella that the only thing that leaves a mark on a vampire is their own venom (and werewolves, of course...) so they wouldn't need to heal quickly in the first place...

wel i think that it depends on how severe the cut is, if its reallly bad it takes awile but if its a little thing then its just a matter of seconds. plus it might depend if theyre injured or not because if theyre weak it realy slows down theyre healing time.

That would've been Jasper who said that - he was referring to the newborns and his scars.... and he was talking only about scarring. Obviously vampires CAN be cut up - otherwise the wolves and humans wouldn't stand a chance in the first place. The question is just how to they heal?

I think they can heal immediately after they get cut but their skin is hard as granite rock so maybe they can't get cut unless it's caused by another vampire biting them or their venom that leaves a mark/scar just like Jasper and the newborns and his scars. I'm thinking newborns and their venom are the closes thing to a cut to a vampire because a normal cut caused by a knife, it wouldn't even penetrate their skin... the venom would leave a scar just like James did with Bella - her scar. it also depends on how big/serious the cut is and if they're weak or not. that's what I think. :]
