I wrote this in another one of my guilds and felt the need to share it on this one too.
I'm highly disturbed that we never hear about this and when we do it's downplayed. It's always because of PMS or postpartum depression. That's complete bullshit. It pisses me off that they get away with it. I've seen interviews and these women talk about how they're lonely and no one understands them, and then they have this deep connection with a 12-year-old boy. A grown, healthy woman CAN'T have a romantic consensual relationship with a pubescent boy who is just recognising his change from boy to man. These women fully believe they are having an emotionally mature relationship with little boys, or if not, play on the emotional aspect to downplay the sexual abuse on an innocent young boy. I believe that it's completely possible for it to be more damaging to be sexually abused by a woman because they play more on emotions and are very good at manipulating. Men obviously do this as well, but because women are naturally more sensitive, I believe the affects on the victim's psyche can be just as damaging. I HATE that it's not a big deal. I HATE that people raped by women aren't taken seriously or called wimps or whiners. I HATE that these women get off so lightly or altogether!!! Women should be punished just as harshly as men. End of story.

Maybe if people payed more attention to it and more light was brought on this issue, people would hopefully start understanding it more and become angry instead of thinking the boy was lucky to get such an older woman or that a grown man being raped is ridiculous- because men want it ALL the time, so there's obviously something wrong with the MAN for not wanting it.
People need to understand that not all men are like that, in fact many fake wanting sex all the time and trying to have as many girls as possible because they face the risk of being called gay. Also including the fact that most men don't want to be aggressive with a woman, so fighting back isn't an option.
I hate that there are so many double standards when it comes to gender. It's hard for people to swallow that hazing is actually very damaging and not a healthy ritual for people to be accepted into a fraternity or sport team. It's difficult for people to understand boys and men DO get abused and that doesn't make them weak or homosexual. Our society expects boys to suck it up and that emotions are for girls. If you break down and cry then you're weak, if you speak out against bullying/hazing you're a whiner and 'p***y.'
I'm so glad that we're getting more attention on sex abuse and the effects of it, but other than the scandal of the Catholic Church, we hear nothing about the effects on boys or that they even get abused.
People are working hard to have equality for girls and women, and I'm so happy for it, but not many people are working as hard for men to have that same equality. I really hope that someone will take a stand and help liberate boys as well. And damnit I hope people will not only embrace boys and their pain, but punish those psychotic female ***** and rapists that take advantage of these boys/men as well as the gender double standard to get away with it. Until that time, I hope and pray that they'll get their karma with cancer or something that damages them as much as they've damaged their innocent victims.

People just dont veiw it as badly when women have relathionships with young men. People have more sympathy for women. And i'm not saying its right, thats just how our society is.
