Well, fortunately she wasn't USED to boring days, she usually got to romp around with her two friends, occasionally she might even pass by where her family was and fool around, big families were good for that because there was always someone else to play.
Still, today had nothing. She hadn't been able to find Makali or Chokuto, they weren't at the hideout or anything, AND she wasn't in the mood for relatives today. Damn her picky fun-moods. The white adolescent leaned over a rock, resting her head on a paw, her dark eyes sweeping across the plains. Someone, anyone should show up. maybe someone she could annoy, Wingu was rather in the mood for being a pest to a random stranger today. Of course that didn't usually end to well, but it was always amusing, at least to her.
Or a cub could show up and she could convince it the gorge was haunted or something. that was always funny. ... even if she did feel bad sometimes and sneak around to make sure it didn't.. y'know, fall off a cliff there and split its head open. That'd suck. But until no one got hurt it was fine!
.. Now, back onto finding someone.

Unfortunately for them both, that someone would wind up being Sor'en'na Kai'i, Goddess of Vengeance. The goddess was in a near-constant state of extreme unhappiness - the angry, moody kind. Sorenna hated everyone and everything with almost no exception...in fact, she probably couldn't have remembered the last exception if she tried. She wanted nothing to do with anyone; her domain taken to the extreme, perhaps, as those who pursued vengeance with all their being pushed others away, denying themselves of all attachment. She liked it that way, or had at least been that way for so long that she thought she liked it. She didn't think about much, to be honest, just stormed around with a proverbial raincloud over her head, being angry.
Sorenna rarely bothered to conceal her identity, and today was no different, as she made her way through the grasses.

Wingu was swift to notice the goddess, and despite her quite obvious difference to other lions, the adolescent didn't pay much attention to that. In Wingu's mind anything could be simple, so she didn't hesitate to slide off her rock and move in her direction. This was a lioness with wings, so what.
"Hey, you! " She shouted, clearly not even going to attempt to stay inconspicuous.

Someone was shouting at her! Sorenna had two options - turn and snap at them, or angrily ignore them. Ignoring, even angrily, took a good bit less effort, as well as required no actual interaction...unless they were stupidly persistent. So the goddess flattened her ears against her skull, stubbornly lowered her head, and stalked onward. Hopefully, the creature she didn't even bother to turn her head for a look at took the hint and left her alone.

Ooooh, she was ignoring her. Fun. Wingu smiled to herself, lowering her head. "You're not very polite, are ya? " She said again, loudly enough to be heard. "Okay, okay, I'll shut up. " She smirked, and though she didn't say anything more, decided that, just for kicks, she'd follow this weird lioness around.
Hey, could she really fly with those? Hm.

What, like this stranger was being polite? No longer able to just ignore her, seeing as she was now being followed, Sorenna turned her head and snarled. She also got a look at the adolescent for the first time - someone's senseless brat, pah!
"Go away, mortal," she growled, walking on.

If it were someone else just being a bit of an a**, Wingu might have given up. But see, that which Sorenna just said spiked Wingu's curiosity, and the adolescent picked up pace to pull up somewhere towards the right of the goddess, though far enough so as to avoid her claws.. and horn, perhaps.
"What do you mean by that? We all die. " She quirked a brow, and paused. ... "Don't you? "

"No, you stupid twit," she grumbled, stubbornly walking on, "I don't." Gods did die eventually, of course, but Sorenna wasn't going to admit to that little fact. Some may have been okay with revealing such information, but Vengeance was not among them. "Now go away!"

"Touchy, touchy. " Wingu wrinkled her nose. "Why not? Do your feathers give ya magical powers or something? " She mused at the idea herself, of magical feathers, and if the female wasn't obviously irritated, wingu might have considered reaching out and grabbing one(easier to ask for forgiveness than permission!).. buuut she was afraid she'd lose her ears for that.
Maybe she was pushing it a bit, the adolescent contemplated for a moment. Buut.. then agaaaain... what could happen? She could always run off! Besides, nothing wrong with a little curiosity, right?

"Why not see for yourself?" Sorenna snapped, finally whipping around to face the adolescent so intent on pushing her buttons. Wings flared out, red eyes narrowed, and she thrust her head forward and roared in the face of the young lioness - and then simply disappeared.
It would probably be some time before Wingu realized just what the 'weird' lioness had done to her; she would remain exactly as she was, an annoying little teenager, until the day she died.

Wingu blinked, stepping back and folding her ears at the roar. The blink was enough to just miss the goddess vanishing, with left her staring, dumbfound into blank space.
"So you can poof. Wow. " She mumbled, for the adolescent it was hard not to be a little sarcastic in times like these. It lightened the mood a bit. Somehow. "Oka, then! I'm leaving now. Yeah. See ya. " She stood up, stepping back towards the direction she came from the glancing back. "I'm going. " She said loudly, as if expecting the lioness to materialize again.
Nope, no materializing. Oh well. Funs gone.
.. lets go poke a badger.
