Ama was tired. It was true. She stood quite still though for being ready to fall asleep fast on her feet. Edana was up often, having a lot of energy even as she slept like a normal baby. Breastfeeding was really the only option that Amadahy had ever thought of. It (accompanied with some very slow physical stuff including swords..) helped to trim her back down to her prebaby weight. She had told the sisters and Reyna to forgo on bringing a mirror in here. She didn't want to see the darkness under her eyes or stare at herself period while she waited for them to hem and tuck, fitting the gown so she was perfect. She did smile though. Her and Gabriel were finally getting married. She sighed happily, staring off into the wall, listening to Edana's coos and soft noises that she made from her bassinet. It tempted her to pick her up and hold her, but she refrained. That child was often in her hands but even more often in the hands of Gabriel, William, and Reyna. And what would she have done without Reyna? She looked down at the Naga now, watching her as she very busily went along the bottom of the dress. When Reyna looked up at her, she was looking at her baby again, silent and lost in her thoughts.

So when Reyna suggested that she get some food she just nodded, slipping carefully out of the dress and watching her wings so that they didn't snag anything. She wrapped the robe around her tightly sitting down slightly noisily in a chair and just smiled at Reyna. "You are amazing." She cupped it with both hands, sipping it quietly while she crossed her legs and leaned back. She was tired and very known to simply stare off into space and zone when she was in such a mood and so now she did it a little bit, green eyes upon the nuns as they just continued to work along like busy bees. She loved this place.

She took the plate in her hand and laid it lightly on her lap. "Thanks Reyna." She nibbled on one, and shifted herself so that she could pull her legs up beneath her. Their wedding was going to be huge, but of course, she had let Gabe have his way. And as long as he was happy, she was happy. She didn't really care about all the minor details. She was so ready, and tonight excitement clawed at her belly though she tried to ignore it. She yawned quietly after a minute, still tired despite the excitement and when Reyna offered to take care of Edana she shook her head slightly. "I will be fine Reyna. Edana and I will be just fine.." She trailed off, looking at the auburn tuft of hair she could see and the tiny hands as they tried to get mobile. After all, it would take more than just once night for her to start getting her usual vigor back and she was willing to wait. After a minute she laid the plate next to her on the couch and got up, going to Edana. She smiled, looking down as she cooed, making baby noises. she refrained from picking her up, knowing that it would cause issues later when she was ready to put her back down again. She always had to be so stubborn, it was Ama's trademark.

Meanwhile, Ama ended up giving into her mommyhood and picked Edana up gently cuddling her close while she went over towards the bed. Spoiling the baby she laid her down next to her and just watched her, smiling a bit.

William, upon hearing his father's voice, bounded up from Alicia's bed where he had been sitting. Kane hissed slightly as the boy got up so fast and he smiled apologetically. Pulling open the door he smiled quickly. "Sorry dad, wasn't expecting anyone..." He trailed off, looking quick around the room at what stuff he had moved in up here and just checking it to make sure it was kinda clean. He had found an old table somewhere in a room and on it was a palmsized gold scarab that Alicia had given to him so long ago. Kane, the black kitty with golden eyes, was laying on Will's deserted warm spot. He stepped back and helped his father up to make up to him. "What's up?" His blue eyes meeting the identical ones in his dad's head.

He watched as Gabe took a look around and didn't say anything for a moment just waiting. As Gabe announced that they would have to go get poked again he winced. "Ah, dad. Seriously?" He sighed but went to slip his shoes on, knowing that his dad was nodding his head even as Will had turned around. He rarely argued with either his mom or dad, something he would probably have to work on if Alicia ever went to the other side. "Nope, nothing from Roland...." And then he stood after having tied his shoes. If Rolan had come around, there was little doubt Will wouldn't have beat the crap out of him for any information related to Alicia. "Hey dad...what is Roland exactly?" He hadn't asked before but he was going to now. "That cat isn't just a cat is he?" He rubbed Kane's ears quickly before heading back towards the trap door. Sticking his hands into the pocket of his black hoodie that he wore as he shifted his weight to one leg and waited for an answer, getting that look in his eyes his mother did when she knew there was going to be an answer coming she didn't like.

William just watched his dad as he kinda zoned out. The boy smiled and just shook his head slightly. He knew he would get an answer to a question eventually, even if it took a few minutes. When his dad got into a thinking zone there was very little that would disturb him until he snapped himself out of it. However, Will tugged lightly on Gabe’s shirt, hoping that he would follow him down as Will led them from the tower. When his dad finally answered his question he stopped and turned around. “A shape shifting demon dad?” For a moment he felt a rage and he wasn’t sure how he contained within his chest. He took a deep breath and sighed, turning back around and walking. Finally they reached the main floor and he hesitated to walk beside his dad. “It’s not your fault dad. You had other things on your mind.” He smiled, knowing that he wasn’t going to blame Gabe. No, my dear William had a feeling that there was more than his dad was letting on.

Just before they got to the door, Gabriel had mentioned more about this demon and Will frowned slightly. But he said nothing as they were almost literally pulled into the room and then shoved into the changing room. All this almost made him laugh and he started to smile. But upon catching the look upon a female werewolf that was pinning him up he decided that it wouldn’t be very funny. None the less he got a sharp poke in the side and so with a very straight face he waited until they were done before even glancing at her again. As he undressed he wondered if there would ever be a day like this in his future with Alicia and hoped that there would be. He had a bad feeling about the future and so he just sighed softly before coming back out and grabbing the hanger his suit had been on. He nodded at his words but couldn’t help the feeling of hopelessness that rose up and threatened to swallow him.

She snuggled the baby close to her, pressing soft kisses to her forehead and cheeks. Edana kicked and waved happily. It never failed to send a jolt to her heart when she looked at her children. And now even she felt a sharp pain as she realized that Joselynn wasn’t planning on even being at the wedding. She sighed softly and nuzzled her face into Edana’s neck before she heard the rustling of Reyna. When she saw the dress, Ama smiled widely. “Oh Reyna, it’s beautiful.” She ran her fingers along it, smiling as she imagined Edana within it. “I don’t know what I did without you.” She mumbled it as she thought and then picked up Edana as she sat up. She was tired and should sleep but for now she was content to sit and watch and hold her baby while she mentally touched base with Gabriel and William.

Ama had managed to catch a small nap in between the fittings and the time for the wedding. The dark shadows under her eyes had faded just slightly and with the help of some makeup she managed to make them disappear completely. She smiled slightly as she looked in the mirror, seeing Edana behind her on the bed. Ama had just finished feeding her, and now she was dozing off into a sleep. Ama went and picked her up carefully so she didn’t wrinkle the white dress that she had on. She moved the headband slightly and then pressed a kiss to her forehead. “Edana. My beautiful daughter.” She mumbled the words and thought of Joselynn, wishing she could be here. She sighed, settling the baby back down for a moment before returning to the mirror to take one look (everything had to be natural of course, dear Ama rarely wore makeup, if ever). She sighed softly, and stepped into the dress. The nuns were lingering around, waiting for her to call but she didn’t immediately. Instead she called them when she needed zipped and to fix the area around her wings. She smiled to herself, butterflies beginning in her stomach. She would carry Edana until the front row where she would had the baby off to Reyna.

William lingered around his father, waiting for the appropriate time to do what they had to do. They stood in their own room. He stood off to the side, out of the way of the traffic as people came in and out making sure everything was ready. “Hey, dad, I forgot something.” And it was just then that he realized he forgotten to feed Kane before he had left. “I’ll hurry.” He moved quickly out of the room and began to use his speed to get to the tower. He paused at the trapdoor, listening to soft scuffles as someone moved within the room. He frowned and then quickly stepped up into the room. That figure. He stopped in his tracks as his heart and soul recognized the girl that moved in his room, no, her room. “Alicia?” He started to reach out for her and then before she could respond he was holding her in his arms. “Oh Alicia, I have missed you.” He breathed softly into her hair inhaling the scent that was all hers and only hers.
