Well hello.............anyone who actually reads this topic! Thank you for taking an interest in what I have to ask of you! You see, last fall me and one of my best friends decided that we were going to start drawing a comic. It all started when she drew what we called "Bye Bye Samurai" and that is when we officially decided to start. The comic is called "Happy Goths" and it can be found on www.deviantart.com It would be very much appreciated if you guys could stop by and visit us and maybe even leave a comment! We would love for this comic to become a popular web comic one day so all the support is helpful! I noticed that I didn't really post anything about the comic itself so here is what the first journal entry on deviantart says so that if people wanna know a little bit about the comic before they visit they can read this (the comic does have some story lines but it's pretty random). Keep in mine that both me and my friend are on deviantart with our own accounts: Before we actually tell anything that would actually interest you we are going to bore you to death first (just like math does). "Happy Goths" is a comic that is co-owned/co-created/co-drawed by ArtofPrudence (P) and Anime-Kat2002 (K) (which is why on the pics you'll see PK or KP depending on who drew the pic). "Happy Goths" is a comic that was created by us that is based on a series of events that goes on in our lives (and some random crap we make up and was freakin hilarious). The personalities and events are as accurate as censorship will allow. ^^
Meet Prue (brown hair) and Kitt (red hair) Goth! They live in Drearyville, VA and are the stars of "Happy Goths". They are gothic sisters that live in a mainly preppy town despite the name. Who knows, maybe the preps chased out the rest of the population. Why do they stay in a place that....well.....dislikes them?..........Cheap rent that's what. In their world of Drearyville there is not many people like them, however, the people that are like them.....you never see that much (scarse population (dont blink or you'll miss it)). Maybe that is why their fave song is 'Dead' by MCR which is also the theme. ^^
Prudence or Prue is the promiscuous man hater. Her love for the opposite sex often pisses her off, or her goth sister Kitt, which ever comes first. She is 20 years old and the oldest of the two.
Kitt is the destructive gamer. Her obsessivness for games always leaves Prue in a world of hurt. If there is no games.....Kitt is one unhappy goth......which still yet leaves Prue in a world of hurt (or anyone nearby). She is also 20 years old and the youngest but taller sib.
However, dispite persona differences the two are very much alike. Both are prep haters, out going, and this sounds like a dating service. BUT ANYWAYS! They are also hyper-active opinated goths (don't get Kitt started on the illegal mexicans or she'll never stop).
What will become of these two young goth girls in their new home? Will they be chased out? Will they chase others out (or should I say scare)? Or will they leave (we wanna say leave but we mean kicked out) due to lack of money for rent?
