It had taken hours, but Tammuz was there the entire time, his cellphone turned off, completely unavailable to his job and completely available to his fiance. Especially his hand, which was sore from the gripping strength he hadn't known that Callee had in the first place.
She was sweaty, and gorgeous, and all his, as were the two baby boys that were about to be returned to them from the nursery. The first, a redheaded, quiet, large tan boy had entered the world without a sound, his eyes darkening almost immediently to match his father's. He received his grandfather's middle name. Gideon Mathias Gallagher-Burdock. The second was dark-haired, brown-eyed, and let his presence be known immediantly, receiving a name from his mother. Zavier. An heir and an artist, perhaps?
The tall, handsome man was proud, and frankly told Callee so.
"I love you."
And here came the babies, one in each arm of the nurses. Gideon was placed in his mother's arms, and Tammuz happily took Zavier. "Hey, fella."

Callee was sweaty and disgusting and, in her mind, no way gorgeous at all, but it was Tam. Tam liked to prance around in short shorts and wore bright yellow boxers, drove a gay little yellow sports car, made her dinner --
He was completely straight (if this entire FREAKIN' ordeal hadn't proved that well enough) but, still. It was Tam.
Luckily, Callee was too tired to say just how yucky she was and simply laid on the bed in a limp pile of sweating, disgusting, redheaded new-mother goo, and she kept a hand on her fiance's hand as long as humanly possible. She was making a mental note to hold it over the bigger ones head when he got older when Tammuz announced his love.
In return, the older man got a genuine, wane little smile, and a squeeze to the hand. It was gentler then the ones before it.
"Swell. You can do it next time, then." The smile grew and then - babies?
Babies. There they were. Tam got the slightly squirming, scrunchy-faced dark haired boy - Zavier, she had to remind herself, her little Zav - and Callee found herself in the possesion of a fire-haired boy, larger then his brother, and solid.
Callee melted. She smooshed down into a further goo-pile, eyebrows knotting up in absolute, utter adoration. She liked them when they were in the womb but, now? Gideon in her arms (she was stroking his hair and petting that cheek) and Zav in Tam's... She melted.
"They're pretty." She breathed.

Gideon was an adorable quiet little thing, his tiny hand reached up to stroke at his mother's cheek, mimicking Callee's own movements as Tammuz laughed.
"Darling, you have no idea. If I could, I would." But he wasn't gay! Amazing! His big fingers worked their way gently through Zavier's already developing curls, and he smiled at the nurse. "When can we go home, Miss?"
"Well, if you'd like to take Gideon, we can get Callee cleaned up, and you can go as soon as she gets a little more rest." A nod from the big man, and asking for permission with his face, he reached out a large hand for his firstborn.

Callee, reluctlantly, handed over the dark haired little man. Zavier smiled up at his father (most Doctors would call it gas, although Callee and Tammuz would probably disagree), one chubby hand rising up and awkwardly patting at the large mans cheek. Callee just stroked her cheek where Gideon had before turning her eyes up to Tammy.
"I'm not tired. I just want to take a bath." Okay, so she was whining. She was just... sticky. Sticky and not pleased with anything in her life except the new faces she just pushed out and the man holding them and the children at home.
"I want to go home now. Tammy?" Puppy eyes, aimed straight up towards her lover.

Ah, damn.
Now with both babes, his gaze turned firm, and Tammuz Burdock gave the nurse a long look. "My home is more than adequate for my finance's recovery, thank you, though."
The nurse nodded, left, and returned shortly with a wheelchair. Callee was set up in it, and twenty minutes later they'd checked out and were in the car, both babes in carseats and mom with them in the back. They'd be home in minutes.

The minute that car pulled into the driveway, the front door slammed open. There were at least two faces - one with a bland expression and fluffy blonde hair, the other covered with fur, and blotchy - in the doorway.
Kane was tottering down the steps with a gleeful air, almost slipping a time or two. Adlai caught up with her and grabbed the toddler. He managed to keep her still as Callee slowly got out, making a slight face in discomfort.
The little girl waved enthusiastically at her parents, all but squealing. Momma looked pale(r)! There were BABIES! Adlai just kept his hands on her, his little eyebrows furrowed.
"It's about time. Can I hold a baby?"
Callee made another face at the young boy as they wrangled the infants out and to the house. "When we're sitting. Get inside."

Ravji was there moments after his younger companions, multiple arms easily taking Gideon and Zavier from his lovely 'step'-mother, as well as supporting her at the same time. Tammuz took her other arm, and they moved up the steps together, easily and quickly making it inside and to the living room. Getting Callee settled, Tam smiled. "I'll start a bath for you, love." He was gone, swiftly.
Ravji joined the redhead on the couch, letting the younger kids look at the babies. "You've chosen names, Callee?"

"Gideon and Zavier." Her voice was proud as she announced this to Ravji, settling back with a tired little yawn. "Redhead is Gideon Mathias. Curly pale one is... Zavier. That was my choice."
Callee smiled again, tiredly, and reached up to give Ravji a gentle pat on the cheek. "Tammys all worried about them, his families bloodline and everything - hello, there, kitten!"
Kane was scooped up and snuggled close like the ball of fur she was, with Adlai and Enki scooting up in a close behind. Children children, everywhere, and no bread crumbs to give them.
Still. The model didn't mind. In fact, she just felt more content as she nuzzled into her daughters fluffy head.
"Tammy, Callee, Ravji, Kane, Enki, Adlai, Giddy, and Zav." She finished with a little titter. "I think we have more then enough, kiddlets. No more. They're the last, alright?"
Adlai grumbled out an 'alright' before burrowing his face in her shoulder. He wouldn't admit it later but he was clinging to her. "Uh-huh."
