While frolicing about by the banks of the Sigmun River, Nero and Miari happen upon a small log serving as a bridge across, and slowly inch their way over to the other side... shaking the log loose as soon as they jump off, and cutting off their path back to you and your other siblings. What will you do? There are no adults around, and you have to help Nero and Miari back to your side of the Sigmund before it gets too dark! New Prompt Describe an average day in the life of the golden star child, and how it feels to be one of FIVE children in a hectic family! Username: White-Lemming Name for fluff: Sying Why you chose this name: The name means ‘A Star’ in Chinese and you know, the Fafner has a large golden star on him. Personality for fluff: Loyal, daydreamer, forgetful
Sying seems to always be sucked into his own little world everyday until someone might talk to him, and then he’ll probably shake his head and asked what the person had just said. Along with daydreaming Sying seems very loyal, mostly because he tends to always follow orders and never tell secrets but also because he would probably forget what you told him jut a day ago. Throughout those two personas he also seems to be a bit forgetful, only if something is very important will he probably remember after a few hours. Entry: Crack, slump, whoosh. Bluish-green water washed around the log that had lain in front of Sying just a moment ago when he was about to bound on top of it. ‘Whoa!’ Sying said backing up a little from the waters edge. The water currant was enough to get that log it was enough to get him. Ace and Nebula were right behind Sying as they looked across the river at their other brother and sister. Nero and Miari’s eyes had a saddened look as they looked across the seemingly endless river; both of them rarely had this look across the faces. The sun would be setting in a few hours and the families parents would probably, no definitely be back by then. Sying and Nebula almost at the same time turned their attention to Ace as he was the clever one. Ace looked up and down Sigmund River for anything to help. All the rest of the Fafners did the same Nero hopping down one side of the river even to look. ‘What should we do?’ Nebula said out loud to no one in particular. ‘I don’t know…’ Sying said, unenthusiastic. ‘What if we go down along the river to see if it gets more narrow!?’ Miari’s voice sounded over the river. ‘Okay!’ Sying, Ace, and Nebula called out.
After what seemed forever (lucky Sying had his own little world he lived in) all five fluffs stopped and panted, their bodies were immensely sore and they had not seen the river narrow the whole length they had walked. Sying sighed, Nebula sighed, across the river both other fluffs sighed, Ace didn’t, he was said to be clever so he was going to try and be clever right now and here. Wind rustled in the trees they were near as the river flowed peacefully not an eddy in sight. Still the currant would wash away the fluffs, Sying looked around again. ‘What if we could lean a small tree branch in the water and see if they could grab hold?’ Sying asked to his bother and sister. Both looked his way and thought about it, it might work. They found a very small tree that almost looked like it ha just started growing a year ago, the question, would it reach the other side? Sying bounded up the very narrow, stick-like, trunk and it only bended a few degrees, Ace then bounded up, and then Nebula. The water was now disrupted by the small trees leaves touching the moving surface. ‘Oh my’ Ace said quietly. The tree only covered a little less then half the river and Nero had already gone to jump, ‘AAAAAHHHH!’ He screamed hitting the river only a meter away from the trees leaves. Miari Bounced along the river hurried and the other three bounded off the small tree and ran along side their brother. The small tree was however very sad that they had left it for it liked the company.
Nero spun round and round in the river, every time he tried to open his mouth it was filled with horridly cold water. He couldn’t die like this could he? ‘Nero!’ Ace called, ‘Try and grab onto the vines up there!’ Ace saw that in a few seconds he would be able to grab a hold of vines that dripped in to the water by the large willow tree. Nero tried to say okay but his lungs were filled with water once again. In a split second he grabbed a hold of one of the vines that hit his face. The tiny little vine stretched out ad suddenly after a few seconds of peace fell into the water and Nero was once again washed away. ‘Oh god!’ Sying said as he bounded of after him. Suddenly he heard a whoosh go over his head and then a splash as a child Fafner flew into the water and grabbed hold of Nero. Her paws splashed in the water and she arrived on the side of the river, soaking wet. She put Nero down with the other fluffs. ‘Ma’ma?’ Sying said, getting the blue and black Fafners attention. “May you help are sister? She on the other side of the river.’ Sying then went into full explanation mode, Nebula correcting what he got wrong, and then child Fafner nodded and flew back into the river and then reunited Miari with the rest of the fluffs. They all said thank-you to the Fafner that had saved them and then bounded off toward home leaving the child Fafner to return home herself.
When the Fluffs got home it was just past dusk and there parents were at home. The fluffs were then not to happy about the now constant babysitting…
